MetroStyle Responsive All Purpose Wordpress Theme

Just checked pack downloaded from ThemeForest. It’s ok for me.

On which step does this error appear?

Tools – Import – Wordpress – Choosing file metrostyle.wordpress.xml – click “Upload file and Import” – (do you check on this step “Download and import file attachments” or not?) – Submit.

Installed importer, added the xml file, assigned posts to myself as a user, checked to include images, etc, and clicked import. Then for a while nothing happens. Next blank screen with “Internal server error” left top.

That’s it!

It seems that the images importing takes to much time and the script execution timeout on you web-server reached before all images are downloaded. Try not to check option “Download and import file attachments”. If this help, it seems that import with images will be possible only after increasing maximum script execution time on your web-server.

probably our web-hosting hardly handle so much traffic and loading can be slow, but the theme itself pretty fast, you can check it with google page speed.

2) This space is going thought all the site so it can’t be changed only for these blocks.

It’s a little hack Actually yes, probably this plugin can help, but we can’t guarantee that the layout will be ok, because widgets layouts are set up specially for sidebar and footer areas. But who need it – they can try.

I suppose in future updates we will add special shortcode for latest posts.

actually we haven’t tested theme with WPML plugin yet. But I suppose there should not be any problems. Theme passes all strings through translation calls. Also theme contains po/mo files.

1) About support via helpdesk: we are not using this service yet, but… we are on the way. 2) We are not quite ready to talk about WooCommerce integration, because it was not planned at the start of this project. But we’ve received some requests today and we’ll think about it. So, may be it will be done or may be not. Will see. Right now we can’t promise it.
