Great work on this theme! . I was wondering if you could help me with the logo. I am wanting to put an image in the top right square. You have allowed a logo to be uploaded but it scales it . I have not been able to figure out an optimal size for my logo. can you please explain how i could make a logo fit with approx. 5px padding in on all sides in on the top square. I am going to use a transparent.png image so when the theme style changes the color will show through the logo.

if you want the padding to be about 5px, please, add this code into “Custom CSS” field under “Theme Options – Extra code blocks”:.logo-pane-inner { top:5px; left:5px; right:5px; bottom:5px; } .logo-pane-inner img { max-height:100%; margin:0 auto; }and use logo image of about 446×134 pixels.heres a pic I useless at explaining.

unfortunately at this moment it’s impossible to specify alternate sidebar for the particular category. We will try to add this feature with future theme updates.
I purchased this theme but I need the website to be eCommerce too. I installed Woocommerce and am having multiple issues. Basically the woo commerce is not using your theme’s styling. How can I get Woo commerce to use your theme’s styles so that everything will be responsive including the product pages? I wanted to make sure I was using the Extra code blocks, counters correctly.
for instance, the Code block after page header () I put my main homepage keyword h1 tag in there. Is that whats its for?

these block are the custom code blocks, which could be used to insert some data or extra code (for example social plugins) on all pages/portfolio pages/posts before content (between page header and page content) or right after the page content.
On IE The portfolio is leaving huge gaps, this does not happen on google chrome or firefox.. dchmarketing.com then click the ruby network button

I have been looking at recent-posts.php but can’t seem to edit the code properly. I am hoping to just remove the show_category call and replace it with

1. You can choose the sort order under “Theme Options – Portfolio options – Portfolio sort type”. If “custom order” value chosen, portfolio items could be sorted under “Portfolio – sort portfolio”.
2. Do you mean homepage? Could you send us a link or screenshot to have a look?
yes, the homepage have 5 blocks, http://www.rallymachining.com/ , there are our service, how we work, why us, FAQ, QUICK QUOTE, I only want to put 1 photo on every blocks, what’s size for these photo ?
The size of the blocks may vary with different screen sizes. Maximal width for 3x block: 456px, for 6x block: 924px (without paddings). The height depends on the block content.

I see you have a theme export and import option, I want to upgrade to the latest version of the theme.
If I export the theme file apply the new theme and then import the exported file, will this keep my current customisation, without having to go through and reset everything?

Hi,
you don’t need to export/import theme options or wordpress content to upgrade the theme. Just upload and overwrite new theme files into wp-content/themes/metro/ directory via FTP, you won’t loose anything if you haven’t made any changes directly in the theme files.

Hi there, I’m new to this and slowly getting there but I am currently stuck. I have added the WPML translation plug-in which has allowed me to translate all the text from the ‘pages’ section of the dashboard. My problem is that I can’t work out how to translate the sections that you have created as part of the theme and that don’t appear in the ‘pages’ section, that is to say the slide bar, the contact form and the menu. I suppose this must be possible but could you explain to me where and how please? Thanks so much

Menus: actually you should see language selectors, which WPML adds into “Appearance – Menus” section, like this: http://grab.by/jpHy
Sidebar: to translate widgets you need to install additinal WPML plugin “WPML String Translation” and you will be able to translate strings in widgets.
Contact form: unfortunately currently there is no possibility to translate contact form, but I suppose it will be fixed with future theme updates.

homepage slider option should looks this way, when WPML plugin is active: http://grab.by/jE6m So slider can be translated right under “Theme Options – Homepage Slider”. But please notice, that this is available only from 1.3.1 version of the theme, so if your theme is older, please, update.
I have version 1.2.7 but when I go to the updates section of the dashboard there is no option to update this theme. What can I do?
To update the theme you need to download the latest version from “Downloads” section of your ThemeForest account then upload and overwrite theme files into wp-content/themes/metro directory via FTP.
Hallo! Is there a way to delete images from a portfolio gallery? Exept from deleting the image from the mediathek?
I also can’t insert images into the portfolio gallery only on a fresh upload. Simply marking images results in emptyness.
And last I can’t create any galleries. After images are uploaded and have an active checkmark, I dont’t click “insert” but just close the mediathek as the documentation says. Then if click edit/view…, I’m allways directed to the mediathek to create a new gallery. Inserting the gallery shortcode results in … nothing.
My wordpress is a in a WordPress Multisite environment. This might be the reason for all the trouble with images? Ulrike

unfortunately the only way to remove image from portfolio gallery is to delete it. And also the only way to add images is to upload them from scratch. This is the way how WordPress Media Gallery works, when images should be attached to the post and it cannot be changed.
As for the Galleries – please, write us via contact form ( http://themeforest.net/user/mopc76 ) provide us your website URL and temporary access to WP-admin, we will take look and help you.
Hello. Love the template but on browser resize (making smaller) the text goes all over the place in Chrome, doesn’t resize in the menu at 75%. Is there a fix for this please. I have done the theme upgrade, and as you said all the theme settings are the same, so Thank you. I have a small issue when selecting show Previous/next item links on single portfolio page from the Theme options/portfolio options, the links don’t appear on the portfolio page and the footer of the website has also disappeared from the individual portfolio’s . I suspect I am missing a simple setting, any ideas?

NEVERMIND – FIREWALL/Network issue
I purchased this template for one site and it installed with no problems. I just bought a second license and every time I try to upload the theme to a new site I get the error page—that says “are you sure you want to do this? and link to try again.

You can use testimonials shortcode http://demo.olevmedia.com/metro/shortcodes-testimonials/ to show testimonials in any place. Shortocode does have a category option.
