Hello, There is a problem to import (upload) image in the option of slider, you can see here: http://nsm05.casimages.com/img/2012/09/28/1209280830034415810372621.jpg (i use firefox).

If you look in the manual that comes with the theme, you can see that below the contentblock at your admin, you’re able to assign sidebars and footers. If you scroll on a page or post you’ll see it as well. just click the sidebar you want and hit save.

I try to have a sidebar too for blog but i think that we can’t, i make a page with shortcode to have it and in option of the theme i define a home static page with my blog page (with shortcode). I think it’s the better way for the moment ^^ if this can help you. Thierry

When my customers sign up on my website, will they receive one unified username and password they can use both for Buddypress and Woocommerce on the website? Or will it be separate login informations?

I really like the thumbnail slider, but Is there anyway to stop the auto scrolling ? like, I want it to move only when the arrow is clicked.

In the category view.. the thumbnail shows only a part of the cropped featured image, most of the featured image in my website have important personalities in it. so the problem is, the category view doesnt show any of those people ! it only shows a part of it (left most portion of the cropped featured image) , mostly the part with no people in it is displayed. this is really irritating the visitors :(

is there anyway to replace that thumbnail by a “medium” thumbnail like the one used by [blogposts] shortcode ?

Woocommerce as well as Buddypress ’’make use of the same login-erea’’. So, your customers are able to login via Buddypress or Woocommerce. We prefer to let your clients login via Woocommerce. As they are logged in, they can make use of Buddypress as well.

That’s really smart. Is that something your developers have set-up or is that something that automatically happens when using both plugins together?

When you install both plugins they automatically work together. The only thing you’ll have to do is install both plugins. The Mikmag theme is completely prepared for this.

Hi, Love the look of this theme and thought it would suit my requirements but I’m having an issue with pages/posts or the dashboard not loading. Google gives me this message: My error logs on the server give me this one:

It seems to happen if I have left a browsing tab open on a page/post or the dashboard and when I go back to the tab and click to do something I receive the Oops! message from google.

I would have posted this message on the forum but I tried to sign up but nothing happened when I clicked complete sign up?

Any thoughts?

Hi Soultrader67,

It seems you did not install the theme properly. The Mikmag Zip-file comes with several files including ‘Mikmag’. You’ll have to Unzip your download and grab the Mikmag file and upload that one. The zip-file also contains files like the Manual.

For additional support please go to: http://theme-dutch.com/wordpress-support/ There you can register for two support options: Premium or Free.

Thanks for the reply.I did mistakingly instal the zip originally (I clicked on the wrong folder in filezilla). So, I installed the correct folder second time round. I thought you may have suggested this because of the message, so I will make sure and perform a reinstall.

I tried to register but nothing happened when I clicked “complete sign up” I’m using Chrome and Safari ad it happens on both.

Yep it’s very difficult to join the forum and i tried several times before succeeding ^^ So there is a problem with bbpress, the home page of forum work but when i click on a forum i always have a 404 error, if you have an idea for this issue. Thanks.

Hi ThemeDutch, Great theme, I’m excited to use it but I’m also having the slider issue where the popup goes behind the main control panel div layer. I think it’s the z-index perhaps but I’m not the expert.

I think I figured this out, and wanted to come back to report: when I connected my laptop to a much larger screen, the issue went away because the resolution allowed me to expand the entire iframe correctly. I was trying to change the code myself to do this and force the iframe wider or usescrollbars, but none of these worked.

Just increase your resolution.

Alright, I posted this issue to the Theme-Dutch support forum several days ago, but have received no response. There is a glaring problem with how the main background-image displays on the iPad 3.

This problem doesn’t appear on the MikMag demo, and yet is persistent on my website. I was supposed to launch my site a week ago, but I can’t until this is resolved. The lack of response from Theme-Dutch is beyond frustrating.

I’m sure you do try to help your customers, but I can tell from my YouTube stats that nobody at ThemeDutch has even looked at my video documenting the problem, which doesn’t inspire much confidence in your support.

This isn’t a feature request. This is a bug. Your other “support options” are all for paid support, and I don’t believe I should be charged to fix a problem with your product. Of course I’ve checked the support forum for other instances of this problem, and there aren’t any.

This is a good theme with a lot of features, ThemeDutch, but with respect to this background image on the iPad, it does not work as advertised. Please have someone there respond with useful information. I don’t want this to escalate.
