Hi, I’m considering the use of this theme for a WP membership site that uses Digital Access Pass in combination with a (bbPress) forum integrated in it. I wanted to use Optimizepress first but the Mikmag theme is far more beautiful, and OP has no support for bbPress.

Is this possible and doable?

We do not work with Optimizepress, but Mikmag is an very extended theme and very suitable for Buddypress / bbpress forums. Our own site theme-dutch.com is built on the Mikmag theme and includes support forums for our clients as well. But you still have to decide for yourself ;-)

Your theme looks awesome! I’m interested in buying this theme, but i have one small thing to say. The scroll isnt smooth. Feels like the theme is kinda heavy..

Theme looks amazing and I am considering buying it. I would like to ask a question.

It is my understanding that you can do an “invite only” option for buddypress, where new members would need to enter a code in order to join. Does anyone know if something like this is possible with woocommerce plugin? Whereby only “approved” users can access the shopping cart?

Much appreciation for any help with this question. I have searched for this answer elsewhere but can’t seem to find what I am looking for.

I discussed your question. Its possible to use a member plugin like S2member, but also look at the site of Woocommerce (at extension members. Probably you’ll find your answer there).

I love this theme and my developer has suggested it for our community blog which is embedded in a media site. Are the images dynamically resized from post to slider to avoid distortion or being out of focus?

I like the design and functionality of MikMag theme, but are you going to fix these annoying bugs with theme working in Opera? I gave you information about of the three bugs (!), and now I can find the bug with menu items in your new Empress theme too :( .

I must agree with earlier posts. Scrolling is choppy, even on very fast machines. Some concern before I buy.

Is there an easy way to get the nivo slider to autoplay?

I jumped over to the forums and I get less help there then I do here. Having trouble setting my theme up, I made categories and everything, its like my page doesnt look right as if somethings wrong DailySpeedFeed.com

another issue I am tryng to change my menus and when I save the menu I get this message: The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

I have worked with several wordpress themes and have never seen this!

You should not have these kind of problemes with the theme. There can be something wrong with your wordpress and or theme installation. Or, you have installed third party plugins, which can be the cause of your errors. (first disable them all to see what happens) Maybe you should consider a Premium support account via our website. Then our developers can look up the errors you’re facing, because your issues are not caused by the theme itself. Here at the blog we can not be of further assistance.

I can’t get support from your website (as a registered user). I have had multiple issues with your theme and these are still not resolved:

- can’t add slides to a slideshow. - can’t get updated plugins to work in buddypress groups: several e-mail have gone about this issue, and you claimed these problems are related to out of date plugins, but this is not the case anymore as some (3 out of 5 previously mentioned plugins) had an update.

Please look into these issues!

The issues you’re having are not caused by the theme, but most likely by the use of third party plugins. We support our themes through the Premium and Free support forums. Please visit: http://theme-dutch.com/wordpress-support/ for more detailed info about our regulations for Free or Premium support. Our support does not cover third party plugins, because there are thousands on the market. Our developers simply can not search for the cause of your issues for Free, if third party plugins are involved. We can be hired also. First of all, you’ll have to disable all third party plugins, and the theme will work properly. Then install all third party plugins ’’one by one’’ to find out which plugin is causing the conflict. Creating a slideshow is not an issue with this theme.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this theme…I am afraid it might be too big / intelligent for me… but I want to give it a try. I will probably need to upgrade my support at least at first. My question is when I install the theme will I have your demo version of the site available to guide me? If not then it truly does scare me! I want to stay very true to your version of the site so I am hoping this will not be too difficult if I start with demo site.

Its a great theme indeed, and very complete. You’ll have to install it (and in addition also install the plugins for Buddypress, bbPress and Woocommerce. (if you want to use them) . The Mikmag theme is ’’fully prepared and designed’’ for these plugins. You also have an option to install ‘dummy content’ to help you get going. But, if you’re insecure, and are able or want to spend some extra money, we also can install everything for you (incl. dummy content), and give an half an hour support via Skype incl. Theme viewer. We’ll give ‘live’ instructions via Skype, while you also see it on your computer screen and can ask us questions at the same time. If you are interested in this service you can send an email to sales@theme-dutch.com. Of course you also can install it yourself and upgrade your support if you think you’ll need it.

I can totally tell you worked your butt’s off I have purchased A LOT of WP Themes on themeforest this one by far is the smartest! Hello, i have tried several times to register at http://www.theme-dutch.com/register/ but once i click “Complete Sign Up” the page reloads… NO confirmation message or email, NO account created. I tried different email addresses, no luck…

I have an issue with a new install. My BuddyPress registration page is coming up blank, template comes up, but NO registration form. What could be causing this?

The last time we talked, you guys were looking into making child themes work with MikMag so our changes don’t get lost on theme updates. I’m still waiting for an update on whether or not you guys will be making this theme compatible with child themes?
