Hi Theme Dutch The full screen background is zooming images so they appear out of focus. i used an image 1600 wide exactly like your wood planks background image – but my images is all blurry and has a lot of the image missing at the sides as it has magnified it so much larger than necessary. Does that mean we need to use a larger image to avoid this (so it does not need to zoom in) or a smaller image so it does not lose the outer edges of our image? if this functionality is based on a 3rd party plugin please tell us which one it is so we can at least view some usage documentation on the image resizer and how it works. Hi Gailstorm, You just need to adjust the height of the images on longer pages. It will stretch out thats way your image is blurry.

I downloaded V1.2.1 and was about to upload only those files with a changed date but i see all files dates are now changed. if this new version requires another complete reinstall which will put my project back yet again while i rebuild all the work i have done already. Exactly which files have changed in V1.2.1 please.

Hi, This theme is amazing,
I’ve tried a couple of Minify plugins but seem to destroy the styling of the site. Can you recommend anything? No worries if not, it’s already pretty quick but would be good to squeeze maximum speed out of it with pre-load cache.
Is there a way to assign same footer widgets to all posts at once? That’s the only problem I’ve come across.

Perhaps someone else has some insight into this considering upon login to the forum, there is no confirmation – goes to a dead page… been waiting forever for some sort of confirmation, on both accounts which have purchased this theme…
looks like i will be reverting to version 1.1 – since i have it working with the ‘shifty’ facebook plugin required….
my new questions therefore are ….
1.how long before I can login to the forum in a normal instance??? 2.when i upgrade to V1.3 from V1.1 what should I expect as errors???

Yesterday we made a few adjustments on our website, which created an error in registering / login section. This issue is now solved by our developer and everyone is able to register, and / or login again. Since our own website is also ’’completely new’’ and we wanted to be online in a jiffy, because we were a hurry in order to help you all the best way possible, we faced a few issues that needed to be resolved. You are able to login and visit the forums now.

There is a free support forum, which we monitor and also give help, and a paid support forum with ticket system, which you can read about on our website. We have received your countless blog posts on the themeforest blog, emails, and posts on the free support forum. We’ve answered all most all of them and the best way possible. You’ve bought our extended theme for little costs, but the time we’ve spent in answering all your emails and posts is no longer in proportion and is becoming far too expensive for us, and cost us much more than the actual costs of the theme. We are certainly willing to help clients for free and we do so, but it should remain reasonable and in proportion. I am pretty sure you can understand this too.

Unfortunately that is not true. I have raised the issue of Support guys not being in the forum after 2 complete working days had passed without a single response from them.
I would not raise issues if there were none. It would not be reasonable to expect me not to raise what I feel are bugs within the existing theme.
I am having some plugin related issues and will go for the paid support plan to get them resolved.

We have noticed that a lot of problems can be prevented. It all starts with a proper installation of Wordpress and the theme. After some of our clients paid for a premium support subscription in order to receive extended help, we’ve discovered that most issues were caused by an improper installation of Wordpresss and not by our theme.
First check if you’ve installed Wordpress and the theme correctly, and also check if third party plugins can be the cause of conflicts and errors. (Disable all plugins and install them one by one until you find the plugin, which causes conflicts and errors). Enjoy our theme!

themedutch I understand what youre saying about uploading the mikmag theme using my FTP , I’m using filemanager on godaddy, I found the folder mikmag with all of the theme contents but for some reason i cannot simply load the whole folder, it will only upload files within the folders. There has to be an easier way then to make every folder on my ftp, then upload all the files to each folder, within the mikmag theme folder. This would be very time consuming.
ok update- basically I unzipped the mikmag folder, took out the theme contents, which I then compressed, then I could use wordpress theme installer. So far so good..
i dont think it uploaded correctly actually, I have a dead link to my page. Is the theme supposed to look just like you guys marketed it or in its untouched custom form?

I have a very simple request. The contact form boxes need to be much more visible. They are hardly visible at all and you can’t find where to type. Regardless, I love the theme!

Nice and useful theme. On iPad v.3 the Shop doesn’t work. It’s not possible to select an shop item or add it to cart. I would like to buy it, but need this feature.
