Hello! I buy this theme one week ago, and I try to add a text over the slideshow.

I tried adding “the_post ()” or “the_content ()” in file “template-home.php” but nothing works .. what should I do?

Question, it’s there way to make portfolio work like: main portfolio page (225×290) doesnt change, (visitor) after choosing a work to look further, rather then opening it new window it shall open as image instantly?

Hi,

I guess your are talking about lightbox, it can be added but it requires custom coding or you can add plugins that adds that feature.

Hi,

It looks like image resizing problem. Try to re-upload and re-set that portfolio post featured image.

btw, i did update WP to 3.5 and they implement new type of file uploader and everything is fucked up, cant upload files, even if i put them true FTPuploader to wp upload folder, cry :´( heeeeeeeelp

As you can see in theme description sidebar, its not WordPress 3.5 compatible yet. I will try to push an update in incoming days.

Hey, I can confirm that image upload both in theme options and in portfolio slides works fine. Dont upload images directly to uploads folder as images wont get resized, use build in media uploader.

So far everything seems to work under WordPress 3.5

Hi there. Want to first off say that this is an AWESOME theme! Really like it!

There are only two things. 1) The Analytic isn’t tracking. Am I supposed to include the <script> tags in the settings screen when I paste the tracking code or not? Just thinking that may be the issue. Google is not receiving data that’s all.

2) When I create a menu that drops down, as I hover down to the drop down menu, there’s a like 4px gap that closes the menu. Making the Sub-Menu a hassle.

Other than that I’m golden! Using your theme along with BuddyPress and really like it! here’s the site. http://fordracingusa.com

Hi,

1) Yes, you need to wrap your tracking code in < script > tags

2) Open style.css and on line 356 remove top-margin or set it to zero:

#main-nav ul li ul {
    display: none;
    position: absolute;
    left: 0;
    top: 100%;
    margin-top: 5px;
}

And finally clear your browser cache.

Dear buyers,

The Twitter REST API v1 will officially retire on Tuesday, May 7, 2013.

I suggest you to use : twitter embedded timelines as twitter API version 1.0 will be deprecated soon and to get any data from Twitter each user will need to generate its own application keys for authentication ( total 5 keys for each site/application that you want to show your tweets ). Also twitter dont want to see latest tweets design other than its embedded timeline, so I will be forced to remove my twitter widget from all my themes.

The easiest way is to create an embedded timeline widget from your twitter account and use its embed code in Text widget. Also you can use plugins that will work with new twitter API version 1.1.

In next theme update I will remove any code/widget that uses Twitter API version 1.0
