That didn’t fix it but leaving the permalinks to default did. It means all legacy links won’t work though. Do you know of a way to fix it working with month and day?

Hi there, I need my footer menu to mimic the main menu, i.e.: when I don’t want to show some pages from the main menu, these pages should not appear in the footer.

Great theme. Really worked well for one of my clients who absolutely loves the site we made for her. I installed Google analytics to the header however Google is not picking up the code. Is there something else you recommend I should try?
You can always copy/paste the code Google gives you into the footer.php if you want, otherwise, if you have a caching plugin, you may need to disable/flush it.

Cudazi – tried to install this theme in a hosted environment with WP Engine. Got the following: “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet. Theme install failed.” Any suggestions?

Please use the page order attribute to change the page order. As for the color, I can’t get into free custom work so I won’t be able to assist. As for social links, please try a plugin such as “addthis” which can be found from the plugins / search menu – thanks!

Hi, thanks very much nearly all sorted now. The only thing I’m having a problem now is the blog page. nothing about setting it up in the pdf file. At the moment I have created a post in new post area and a page called blog with blog template. I can see the post in blog page but can not see how someone can add a comment as no such option. Just 0 comments up the top and when i click on 0 it takes me to the main page. Hope you can help , thank you
The PDF file on page one indicates, “Custom Blog Page – Add a page to your site (Pages > Add New) using the page template: Blog Template”

It sounds like you have it set up correctly, also be sure you do not have that page (or any page) set in settings > reading > posts page, you can and should have a home page set.
When you say “can not see how anyone can add a post” – you add posts from the WordPress admin area, not from the blog front side, maybe that’s where the confusion is originating.
I’m sorry but I cannot assist on free customizations/color modifications.

With WordPress, you as the blogger would add the blog posts, your guests do not create posts unless you create an account for them and give them rights. http://codex.wordpress.org/Writing_Posts

One question: how do I show a full post rather than a portion of the content on the main blog page?

Hello. I am able to define the excerpt in the portfolio blog posts, but somehow it doesn´t work for regular blog posts. Check here: www.cinesyn.com.
How do I fix this?
If you go into the screen options (top right usually) when editing and show the excerpt you can manually set it there instead. It may be hidden by default depending on your settings.
That´s the thing, I have defined the excerpt on both the portfolio and blog posts. But it only works on the portfolio posts.
For the blog, use the more tag or toolbar button, it allows formatting within the excerpt like a standard blog // http://cudazi.com/2011/customizing-the-read-more-in-wordpress/

Hi Cudazi, It’s been a while since I’ve updated my website. Now I want to update the front pictures on my portfolio page (‘Portfolio template’), but I can’t find where to change/add those. I’ve searched everywhere. I’m running 1.3 of your great theme. Hope you can help me with it.
There should be a “Minimal Portfolio Settings” page once the theme is active, otherwise you can overwrite the icons in images/large_icons/ of your theme’s folder too. Thanks!
Thanks for the fast reply. I didn’t mean the icons on the front/home page, but the pictures/images on the portfolio page, where you can click on to go to the complete post per item.
The first image attached to the post is chosen with the standard portfolio template. When you’re in the add media, media library area.
Hi Cudazi, I am looking to purchase your template, and so far I’m pretty sold! But first:
1) Is it relatively easy to change the color of the whole site (content area and background) from white to grey in the style.css? 2) If so, is it easy to change the color of the text via the same method in the style.css? 3) Any limitations on the size of the logo image? 4) Is there an easy option for creating several layers of submenus?

The colors can be overridden since there are very few images used in the design. The logo is currently all CSS but an image could get pretty big. There’s one layer of sub-menus but you could always modify or include a different script if required.
Do you have a social media icon for G+?

hi cudazi i purchased this theme a long while back but am now just using it. how do i rearrange the menu? im used to the dynamic menu where you can simply move them around. has this template been updated to accomodate that or is there any other way.
