How do I disable tagline on a specific page?
Add the custom field called tagline to that page. Set the value to none. (the word none, not blank/empty)
How to I have a custom tagline on a per-page or post basis?
As noted on the custom settings page where you enter the overall tagline, override it on a specific post or page by adding a custom field called: tagline and give it a value of the custom text you want.
