I (a plugin developer) was contacted today from someone who purchased this theme and had a problem because of the incorrect way you have loaded jQuery.

you can’t have people getting this error on their first install. I saw the previous comment about this – I don’t think I should re-install WP.
Please provide a solution, or else it’s just a worthless theme, albeit the sleek design.

For my demo I’m using 1024×682 image and it fits quite well. The script will first fit on the width and then on the height. Everything will depend on the screen or browser size then… can assure than the whole image will show for everyone, it’s kinda impossible for fullscreen

It possible to delete blinking effect for a page with only one Background image and with parameters in MINIMALISTA settings: (BACKGROUND AND SLIDER SETTINGS ) -> Activate Fullscreen Slider: on, Delay: 8000, Square Delay: 150, Square per width: 1, Square per height: 1 ?? If yes, then how?? It irritates me when flashing only one background in a page!
For now it’s not possible. It’s a slider for multiple image.

I noticed that the theme doesn’t display correctly in IE8 , is there a fix for that?

Karim Thank you again for your quick response. Is there no way to stick a line of code in the header somewhere to render it in IE7 or something like that if visitors are using IE8 ?
I think you could do something if you use a PHP class to check what browser the user is using, but I don’t remember the name of it. And then your could put a message to say people to delete this damn IE

I have found some bugs with backgound loading on some pages after tests.
1)Click ‘Materials’(left menu) – then click ‘Rainforest’(slider) or any other…, then click ‘Frames’ and so on…..(bottom menu).
But some pages work, some not…. and why?

i want the theme to Display my latest twitter post on the first (Home) page. I created a taks via iftt.com that will create a new post under a category called “twitter”. Am I able to display the latest post out of the category on my Home-Page. Is there a code line or a plug in that will load the latest post of the category into the page.
It may be a little off topic, but I couldn’t get minimalista to do it.

I’m having trouble making my posts and pages show up. I’ve closely followed the directions on the documentation, and there are no thumbnails on the right and nothing shows up when I click the pages below. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
It should be a problem with timthumb.php maybe? Did you put the right permission on it?
I don’t think that’s it. I changed the timthunb.php permission to 755, and it still doesn’t work. The page that I select for background shows up properly, with the image and evertying. However, when you click on any category on the left, or any page at the bottom, nothing happens. There are no thumbnail images on the right side.

Hello TWI , I am a webdesigner, and my client purchased your theme, so I am trying to use this, but None of the link are showing up and all that seems to happen is it sort of gliches out… SO what I am looking for is maybe some advice, should i go fresh from a wordpress install without any content added ? Also The links seem to add a ”#” right after the url which maybe why it is gliching out, ... I am not sure where to go from here, i like this template but not really used to this sort of WP theme, I typically use YOotheme’s setup…. My company is Customwebsites4less.com, so you know I am not full of it and the site in question is http://structureandawareness.com/ I am also curious how to enable the background image bit… Iguess If you would be able to provide the demo in a package where i could just install that so that i know how the set up is meant to be…

It’s always better to go with a fresh WordPress. And this wordpress theme doesn’t work like the others. As everything is AJAX powered, the # is totally normal.
Did you follow all step for the installation? (Creation of the ajax load page for example). All steps are really important!
Don’t hesitate if you have more question and need more help on one install step.
Is there a possibility to get rid off the category links on the left side? And i can’t get the background to work. I installed in a used database, disabled all plugins, and set chmod to 755 with Filezilla to the minimalista and cache folder, but they already had 755 status. What is going wrong?
You can remove then from the code. Or maybe delete all categories? (Not sure)

Any tips for disabling the catagory links on the left? I guess in the header? Do all pages need to be “Ajax Load Posts” to show the animation/slideshow?
I see that your removed the category links. But I don’t see any image that’s it’s not working. Where exactlly are theses images
I used a catacory hider plugin, works like a charm. About the images, i just keeped trying and trying. After a lot of refreshes and editing they are visible and working! I guess it had problems because of my browser not refreshing right. Superb theme, thanks!

You mentioned to setup a “(Creation of the ajax load page for example)”.
I am all for following directions just don’t see them, and I tried to look at a few of the php files to see if there were any settings that look like i should tweak them but a bit hesitant to do so…For example the template ajax retrieve file seems like a logical one and maybe theres a categoryname i should set in there…
Any who please help, with with some advice if there’s an instructions file that would be awesome thanks in advance.
