Hi,

I’ve have a little problem. The letters with special chars don’t appear on the class class=sifr-title. If I put Nós I get Ns. How can I solve this?

Thanks

You’ll need to regenerate the font with the sifr generator website link, and set it to include all characters (I didn’t due to filesize)

Hi there – I got this theme through the works account a few weeks back and the client desided not to bother so I left it be.

I was having a quick play with it before aproaching a new client with it and can’t get lightbox to work. Well I can but it distroys the nice motion effect thats already going on – or it moved the whole site up? Has anyone managed to get a version working and if so any sugestions on how I can?

Cheers

can you msg me a link? It’s a little vague to be able to help. The sifr works across browsers without any issues, however please note due to most pc’s security settings it will not load in a local environment – it needs to be hosted.

Hi,

Comment on page 1 of the comments was about how to make space for wider images. I’ve copied your response below. While I have some skills in code, this is beyond my skillset. I am interested in getting up to 460px option or so, but don’t know how to do it. Since a step by step instruction is out of the scope of the comment exchange, what would be involved in going to you privately for editing of the template for me to use on my site? Do you have an e-mail I should go to so I could send you the files? I didn’t make any structural changes to your original, but have made some font style changes in the css. Please advise since the template will be more effective for me with a wider image space.

Thank you so much!

YOUR RESPONSE :

Hi 50notes. The image size is 300 px wide (including whitespace on sample images). Removing the whitespace in the images will allow you to utilize the 300px without messing the grid up. However, if you have any knowledge of 960.gs, if you change the class grid_4’s to grid_5’s that will give you an extra 80px width. You could also remove the class prefix_1 making the site shift left, allowing for another 80px width while keeping within the 960 maximum size. So in theory, you could have an image with a width of 460px without any major theme changes. Hope this helps.

Hi Avi, currently I’m too busy to take on any more work, however if you ask in the forums for someone familiar with the 960gs grid they should be able to help

Pixelcraft, just curious, how easily would it be to turn this into a Wordpress theme? If I where to purchase this, and then make my design changes to the PSD file is that something you could do? What would it run to do so?

Thanks for your time….

Im working with a server and everything seems to be right (seems only). How can change the font display in the sifr-config.js? Thanks

You’ve replaced the form provided entirely with your own, which is why it’s not working

Hi Pixelcraft, congratulations for one of the best templates I have ever seen.

Just a question, could it be possible to fix the sidebar behavior in the iPhone? When scrolling the page, the sidebar scrolls too, disappearing from the screen. The rest works perfect.

TIA !

Hi Pibo,

I’m not sure it is, it’s a sliding nav so I think on the iphone it just has to stay put.

Hi Pixelcraft,

Great design! Thanks!

Quick question:

Is the scroller js – Moo Tools or jQuery?

Would love to hear from you.

Hi ! I just installed this for a client of mine and he pointed out the fact that it doesn’t look very good in IE6 . I checked back your original template and he’s right. While in FF the menu is close to the center area of the page and the mouse over effects work good, in IE6 the menu is left aligned (on a big screen there is a HUGE empty space between the menu and the center area with the text). Also, the mouse over effects are not working and the end result is quite bad. Can you check this ? I can send you some print screens if you want but like i said, i was able to replicate the same issues directly from your files.

Hi, it has passed ie6 testing, and while it’s not possible to have every element behave exactly the same across all browsers, it’s still a usable site in ie6.
