MiniSite - 4 in 1 Minimal Wordpress Theme

Hi,

Can you help me? I’ve just purchased this theme but am having problems setting it up. I have the Homepage setup but cannot get the blog page to work.

When I try to create a new page for the blog, your instructions say to select the Blog template, but I cannot see on in the drop down list. All i can see is,

Default Template Contact Page Default Homepage Default Portfolio/Gallery Second Homepage

Thanks for this great theme.

I couldn’t create gallery items. I’m using wp 3.0 and there is no “post thumbnail” section. There is “Set featured image” section but there is no “use as thumbnail” option in it. Btw I’m not able to upload from my computer on WP. I’m getting an error when I try it. I’m uploading files via FTP .

Is there any other ways to set gallery items?

I’ve updated to 3.0 and now my contact form doesn’t work. Any advice?

I’ve changed the sizes of gallery slider items to 100×100px. But I couldn’t change the slide range. It shows half of the next image when I click next button (or prev). Can you help me about it? :/

I am going to buy your template however just wanted to confirm that it is fully functional in WP3 .0 (inc the contact form). Can i perhaps use Contact Form 7 plugin?

How many tabs can I have on the top menu, for instance; you have 5 (inc only one instance of Homepage) I may need 7 or 8 tabs, is this possible will it expnad to take more menu options?

@bbalogh just submitted the updated version. Its contact bug is now fixed. It’s on the queue…

@whispersays, The contact form problem is now fixed and you can use it properly. about the menu, this version doesn’t support multi-level menu but we will update it soon with some improvements including drop-down menu ( it will take one month)

It’s the first time I buy on ThemForest, maybe a silly question. The current version available for download is 1.1. Will I be able to download the 1.2 when it’s up if I buy now?

Hi there – in the demo, I see text in the lightbox popup that describes the image. “Bizcards”, etc – and the number out of the total of the image you’re looking at. I’ve changed all of the properties of the image attachment (caption, description, etc) and I still cannot get this text to show up. Can you advise?

Nevermind – for some odd reason, it’s working by itself now.

Sorry to bother you again – but is it possible to have a different thumbnail image than the large image? For example, if I’m screenshotting an entire website screen, it will be too small to see at 75×75, or 100×100. Would be great to upload a logo (or other image optimized for a small size) and then expand to the large image.

Would also be great to be able to include a link to the actual website, but since it’s keying off the post title, I’m not sure that’s possible.

Hi there, really nice work on this truly minimalist design.

I do have a few questions about it:

1) In the blog section, if you use multiple categories, can you show them using a widget? If so will it appear on the left side and what will it look like? Also, can the subcategories of the blog show up in the top menu as drop downs?

2) Regarding the gallery, can it also feature subcategories? Like nature, portraits, etc. And if so, again, how does it work and look like when you enable those?

Hi there. First off: GREAT template! Well done… One question though: When I create new pages, it automatically creates the page as a new menu item in the top menu. How do I create a new page to be displayed in the main body with side-marker like About Us, Blog and the others you have on the test site?
