I’ve never bought a theme for Wordpress before so I just wanted to check I understood the terms of the license.
Firstly amazing work the theme looks really nice and clean and the full length slider works really well.
I’m looking at potentially purchasing this for a website for a bar that I will be working on in the future. Currently it’s not a CMS site so I thought Wordpress would be the best way to go.
I’ve a little knowledge of editing code in the backend of Wordpress as in editing php and css/html but most of my work would be static. If I bought a licence am I right in thinking this template can be used as “inspiration” and changed anyway we like if we know how to edit the code? When I say changed I mean maybe slightly changing the layout of one or two things or adding something extra that we might need.
Maybe I’ve got this completely wrong but hopefully I haven’t!
Oh absolutely! The only thing you “can’t” do is selling it as a “template” to multiple user. And also you have to buy it everytime you want to use it so if you have 2-3 site running it, you have to buy it 2-3 times unless you buy an extended license, wich is $2,200
I think it will just be for 1 website so should be handy enough
Just out of interest when you’re designing these, do you design a static HTML version of the site first after you design in Photoshop or do you jump straight to Wordpress and incorporate the PHP code with the HTML and CSS?
I do a complete HTML version, wich is available as a bonus in the WordPress version
So basically this theme can be used as a parent theme and then someone can design a child theme?

Do you have a photo gallery option? Is it possible to remove the thumbnails below the hompage slider and just have the slider there? Can you remove the banner image from a single post page?

Hey, for the photo gallery you can always use the built in gallery options from WordPress or there is tons of great gallery plugins you can download and install for free (or paid) ..
Yes you can have only the slider on the homepage if you wish, you can take a look at the videos in this page to see the process of creating the homepage, slider etc .. : http://themes.danyduchaine.com/mission/main-features/
If you do not put any widgets on the homepage area there will only be the slider on the homepage but you can still add widgets in the footer, or not.

Hey I am sorry I don’t really understand where you want to insert it exactly. You can embed any video in any pages. If you want to insert some on the homepage you will have to embed it in a text widget, wich is really easy.

Some pre-order questions:
1.I assume it’s simple to replace your ‘M’ font logo that is places over the slider with a logo, correct?
2.Does your theme work with a Multisite installation? (need it for language splits)
3. When using the ‘Causes, Full Size’ layout, how hard would it be to add pagination buttons to move previous and next to other causes? This is really needed
4. Do you have any plan to make some more shortcodes, like a pricing table? We would need to make our own in your style but if you are thinking about adding it it would be great.
Smartphone size: 5. I notice that when down to mobile the ‘Donate’ button drops away. Is it possible to specify which buttons don’t display? I would need to ensure that that one stays because it would be my alternate language selector
6. When it goes to mobile version, can we specify a different menu hierarchy, a simpler one than on the desktop version? Basically, not show less menu items?

2. Yes and no, I have to find a solution for the slider because it use a plugin wich doesn’t allow to specify the titles in multiple languages

hi Dany, by far one of the best themes I have used in a long ti e. thankyou. I have a few requests.
1. Can the news widgets be more customizable for the data that is shown. i.e with news it would be good to have option of displaying, or not, the picture, author, date, category etc.
2.With the causes widget it would be good to assign the exact causes that are displayed and to what page it links to. also option to change the thumbnail image from the widget.
This would make the hone page massively customizable

On the homepage is it possible to replace vertical LATEST EVENTS section with OUR CAUSES section.
I want to remove OUR CAUSES section from below the slider and add it next to LATEST NEWS vertically.

This is a very nice theme, good job. My question is i want to create a website for a non profit organization using this theme, it’l also have a donate button to. So how do i link it to my payment gateway so anyone who wants to donate can donate easily? Tanx
Hey, there’s options to input your URL for every donation button. For the one that is in the top bar, it’s in the theme options and for the others (causes posts) you will be able to input a URL for every causes post you publish.

Theme is fantastic however i am not able to get my head around one thing. In widgets I have added few things under PAGES siderbar. Now when I enable sidebar on any page itl show the same sidebar or do I have the option to create multiple variation for sidebar for pages? Can you tell me how do I do it – I wanna have different sidebars for different pages.

Hey, simply open “searchform.php” on line 11 you will find “Search” and you can change it for what you need. You can also change “Go” on this page while you are there
