Hey! just purchased the Bundle. this is very cool it’s not work Perfect in Hebrew, But it came out Pretty nice. http://www.chezki.co.il/blog/
Looks pretty good..it just needs some quick fixes here and there due to rtl, thanks for sharing!
Hi (purchased the bundle) Here’s the problem, I see it on your demo too (mobilefirst.djwd.me): with at least an iphone 4 when I toggle the top sliding area and click on the search button something happens. The menu is no more working and the toggled area doesn’t go up anymore. Plus, when I click the search button everything is zoomed…not cool!
Anyway, lovely template, without this kind of little errors..
ps. can’t reproduce the issue on desktop computers…not safari, chrome of ff…everything works fine there.
Thanks for your feedback, I’ll look into this.
Hi !
I have a probleme with image slideshow when a want to show a picture from a galerie.
Exemple here -> http://www.natas.fr/2013/02/01/bonjour-gerardmer/
On the bottom of the article, i put a wordpress native galerie, with Jetpack “Tiled Galleries” option activeted.
May you help me ? Thank a lot
Please make sure you’re linking the images to the media file and not to the attachment page. Images are not linked to jpegs that is why you can’t see them full size.
djwd
It’s working ! Thank a lot !
how can i show the video or image like that? pla hlep me^^
Hi progress79,
Please have a look at the documentation where the video part is explained with screenshots. To add a featured image to a post simply upload an image by clicking “Set Featured Image” in the post page on the metabox on the right.
djwd
thank you so much.. i didn’t check it out before the installation..^^
Hi,
When I go to install the theme, this is what I get Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.
Please help.
Kind Regards
Hello and thank you for your purchase.
Please have a read here http://support.envato.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/269/0/my-wordpress-theme-isnt-working-what-should-i-do
Thank you
djwd
I’ve tried that. It does not help. Can’t find the theme folder on the file.
Extract the downloaded package and upload the zip file contained in the Upload folder called MobileFirst_1.2_Theme.zip
djwd
Awesome theme! I cannot figure how to disable the “leave a comment” item at the end of every page other than the blog.
Thanks!
Hi imagine_kr,
Please write from the account you made the purchase from in order to get support.
Thank you
djwd
Weird, I used this account to make the purchase. It was included in the “bundle” that was on sale last week.
From the Mobile Bundle description page:
Due to the exclusive nature of the Mobile Bundle, the bundle items are purchased ‘as-is’, meaning no bundle files are eligible for item support or updates.
Thanks for your understanding.
djwd
There are lots of font in this theme..
so there is any page or tool that i verify all fonts on 1 page?
it’s very hard to check it out
.;My suggestion is to check them out at this page, then select them on the theme. Almost 90% of them are available in MobileFirst.
Hope this helps
djwd
thank you so much!!
This mobile theme is pretty full of bugs on mobile devices. Another one I’ve found (on demo site, so it’s not my settings): with an iphone try to navigate into an archive page for example…after 2-3 clicks the menu gets stuck and you cannot open it anymore on that page. you need to reload. Did you check this mobile theme on an actual mobile device?
Yes, extensively. I just re-tested the archive dropdowns by clicking like 20 times on an iPhone and I couldn’t get it to stuck. I wouldn’t say ‘full of bugs and errors’ for a couple minor issues you’ve had. Btw bugs can always occour on every digital product, I do my best to fix them once reported, I don’t know what else I could possibly do.
Thanks for your feedback.
djwd
Sorry, I was too angry. Sorry. I’m a little worried because theese errors occurs just on my mobile devices (now an iphone and an android phone) and there’s no way to debug those errors on desktop browsers because they don’t occurs. Still can’t find a debugger for mobile safari.
Hi, Great Theme! How can I disable the color fade for featured images on the blog. I would like the color to just be in the picture.
Also, I would like to keep comments on posts but not on individual pages, would i just remove the comment call in the page.php for that?
Hi majordesign,
thank you for your purchase and compliments
To remove the greyscale filter paste this into the Advanced > Custom CSS textarea.
.blog img { filter: none; -webkit-filter: none}To disable comments on pages move to Pages > Quick Edit on the desired page and untick the Allow Comments checkbox.
djwd
How can you link an image to an external page? No matter how I code the image, it always pops up the gallery. Thank you!
You need to remove the automatic lightbox system, by opening js/djwd.js and remove/comment out line 219. I’ll think about some better solution for future updates.
Hope this helps,
djwd
Thanks for the quick reply!
is it possible to have more than 3 widget at the bottom without screwing up the theme…for now if i add a fourth widget…all the four widgets gets packed up in the 2 first columns leaving one empty space where the third column should be
thank you
Hi Fixprod,
Please write from the account you made the purchase from in order to get support.
djwd
i bought the bundle deal… thats why i dont show as purchased…but if you confirm to me i can use more than 3 widget without screwing the theme i will buy it …and ask you how to do it afterward
i love your team good work !
Thank you for your compliments.
Unfortunately the footer is designed to contain three widgets, placing more than three would require some css tweaking.
djwd
Love the theme, but does it include all the shortcodes and features of minimosity? From the demo it looks fairly light on on that side of things. cheers
Hi gusc,
Thank you for your appreciatation.
This is a different kind of theme with pretty different purposes (also much lighter as you say) and has its own features which are described in the item details.
djwd
Hi. I’m considering purchasing this template. Can you suggest a widget for users to subscribe to my blog so that they get emails each time I enter a new blog entry? I’m totally new to blogging and WP and don’t intend to tweet. Thanks for your help.
Hi TanyaPalazzo,
thank you for your interest in MobileFirst.
What you are asking is not really a theme specific question, however here’s some plugin that may suits your needs: Subscribe2
or check out the general page for some alternatives.
Best.
djwd
thanks so much for your quick response. purchasing now
sorry to be a pain. Is there a how-to doc available. Just switched my previous blog over and all my images are now hidden in blog posts where they used to be featured. Cannot intuitively find a way to select option to feature an image in a post.
Disregard…....found it in your docs. Thanks so much!
Perfect.
In a previous post, you mentioned “To remove the greyscale filter paste this into the Advanced > Custom CSS textarea…...
blog img { filter: none; -webkit-filter: none}’.
Where can one find this? Do I have to do this for each featured image for each blog post or is there a way to shut this feature off permanently?
No you need to paste that CSS in the Advanced > Custom CSS text area, only once.
Just wanted to compliment you on this theme. Really beautiful. Best wishes.
Thank you very much for your kind words milest, appreciate
I just purchased this theme – had a couple quick questions.
1. Where can I get the background image that was showcased on the live demo/preview?
2. What is the recommended size (width, height?) for featured images?
Thanks,
Derek
Hi derekjerrell,
thank you for your purchase.
1. If you can’t find it in your images folder just drop me an e-mail through my profile page and I’ll send it to you.
2. Minimum recommended width is 1100px, height will adjust automatically.
djwd
If I use a larger image, say 1500 px wide, will it automatically scale it down to 1100px or will it handle this size?
Yes bigger images won’t be a problem, they will adapt to fit blog entries. Also smaller images will adapt but in that case there will be an inevitable quality loss.
djwd
I am very happy with this theme. However, I am experiencing issues with the Twitter (latest tweets) widget. It does not seem to be working correctly. I can view it on my desktop (Firefox & IE) and the last 3 tweets display, but when I view it on a mobile device (iPad & Galaxy S 3) the widget displays but the tweets do not. Can you take a look at this? This was one of the features that I really liked and mobile use is my priority.
Thanks,
Derek
Hi derekjerrell
There shouldn’t be any difference with the twitter widget on a desktop or on a mobile device. Can you link your blog please?
Thanks,
djwd
The URL is, www.derekjerrell.com
My URL is www.derekjerrell.com. The twitter widget seems to display fine when I view it on desktops. However, when viewed on mobile devices, the twitter widget does not show any of the tweets. I have viewed this on multiple mobile platforms and I can’t get any of the tweets to display.
Thanks, Derek
Hi,
I just noticed this is happening on the live demo too, it is something recent. I need some time to figure out what’s going on and release some fix if necessary.
Thanks for your feedback.
djwd
I just wanted to touch base and see if you knew when this issue would be resolved?
I’m considering rebuilding the whole widget because of this. By the way it will be available in the next update. Thanks for your patience
Hi Is there a way to turn off excerpts on the home page. I prefer to use the Read More links I use in my posts and not the automatic excerpt cut off.
Thanks
Hi akhileshsabharwal,
thank you for your purchase.
The option you’re looking for is in Theme Options > Homepage > Front Page Posts > More Tag
Best, djwd
Hey! That option is not visible in the theme options. I only have Basic SettingsTypographyArchives
Sorry that got messed up – I only have Basic Settings, Social, Colors, typography, Archives and Advanced
Also the theme is not appearing in the ‘bloody’ color set.
I replied and explained to the e-mail you also sent
Yes you did. Thank you for that

In your last communication, you indicated that you were working on a fix. Do you know when that fix will be available for use?
Thanks,
Derek
Hi, our “last communication” was 3 days ago, nothing changed since that..! Follow me on Twitter to be notified about any update.
