Just bought this theme for mobile, while I’m using Dynamix for my main site. I’m really confused how to configure it. I did what you said as far as installing Wordpress Mobile Pack and used the Mobile Switcher, but it just shows an empty page with a bunch of random categories and no posts… Is it configured through Wordpress Mobile Pack settings? Dynamix has its own settings bar that gets installed on my dashboard… If you need to see how my site is configured, it’s www.metalarcade.net

What is the method of installation on Word Press before buying

Did you install it for me

Hi. I’m afraid i cannot offer any other help besides answering e-mails as i’m extremely busy with projects at the moment but I’d suggest reading through the FAQ’s as well as past comments to get an idea of how to set it up.

Hi, how easy is it to implement ad code to this theme? Also, is it possible to have an ad appear in the middle of content? And can this use my Disqus comments from the main site? Thanks.

Hi. It’s fairly simple to implement and i would suggest reading the FAQ’s section as well as past comments to get a feel before purchasing:

There’s no reason why you can’t use any ad plugin or ad code to display ads anywhere within the theme and the same applies to the Disqus comments.

Think of the theme as a shrunk down (visually) wordpress theme. No functionality has been removed at all so go wild!

Hi, I really love this theme but for some reason there is a jquery conflict (I think) ... I at least know it’s being caused with the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/locations/. Do you know how I can fix?

Thanks

Hi there. I’ve tested the site and everything seems to work ok i.e. menu tabs, search etc.

Can you provide more info on what issue the jquery conflict is causing?

Cheers,

Peter

Hi, my website is showing full-length posts instead of excerpts on the homepage and everywhere. Also the images are getting left-aligned. Please help me out..

Hi. You’re currently in the queue for support so please bare with me whilst i finish helping out some other users before getting to your issue.

Its been some sweet 18 days waiting for your help..Probably I was not wrong in rating the theme as 3 star.

Sorry, but as i mentioned to you before your issue is currently in a queue and will be looked at asap.

Support is offered on a first come, first serve basis for our themes and is not mandatory so we would appreciate if you could refrain from posting negative comments here.

Believe it or not, we’re also human, some of us with families and actually don’t work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I know, crazy right?!

So please bear with us and we’ll get to your issue as soon as possible. If you’re not happy with the theme then feel free to open a case with Envato and request a refund however, seeing as you’re the only 1 of 432 sales that has reported this issue then i doubt they will accept a refund due to a “buggy theme”. It’s out of my hands so say whether they will or won’t but it’s up to you to decide whether you want to wait for support or request a refund.

Cheers,

Peter

I just bought the theme and it is not installing. Its is saying:The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

Theme install failed.

Hi.

Are you sure you’re trying to upload the theme only and not the entire package downloaded from themeforest?

In the package you downloaded from your account. Unzip it and you should see a number of folders. Select the folder of which version you’d like to install (Wordpress Theme 3.0+, or 2.8-2.9) and create a zip file from that folder. Once that’s been zipped up, upload only that folder as the theme from within your wordpress site.

I will re-package the download file from themeforest as i’ve just noticed that this may be a bit confusing to some users.

Let me know if you manage to sort out this issue.

Cheers,

Peter

Hi Peter, This one is really baffling…something with the new iPhone 6 plus is causing the format in the header to get screwed up. Looks fine on other mobile devices and when viewing the theme on a desktop. I have a screen shot I can send.

Thanks G

Hi mate.

Thanks for the update regarding the the new iphone 6. Could you send through a screenshot to support [at] patagoncreative [dot] com so i can view and will try to troubleshoot.

Cheers,

Peter

@all who have have purchased or will purchase.

Please consider contacting myself either through the comments or a private message on my profile page BEFORE leaving negative reviews. Found an issue? Ask for support! It’s FREE!

I actually offer great support at no extra charge to customers of any of my themes and am pretty proud of it. So if you encounter an issue (something is bound to come up) in this or any other theme, please request support before you rate your purchase.

Thanks,

Peter

Hi again Peter I bought the Wordpress version of the theme and get the same message: Installing Theme from uploaded file: themeforest-123198-mobitheme-wordpress-theme-for-mobile-devices.zip Unpacking the package…

Installing the theme…

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

Theme install failed.

I am installing the zip file that I downloaded. Do I need to alter the zip file first?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Terry :)

Hi Terry. I’ve just had a look at the download zip on themeforest and it seems the zip is missing for uploading directly to wordpress.

I will fix the missing zips and submit an updated item to the queue but so you don’t have to wait for approval of the updated item, follow these instructions and you should be good to go.

1. Unzip the main zip file downloaded from themeforest 2. locate the appropriate folder for your wordpress version – most likely Wordpress Theme 3.0+ 3. Within that folder, zip up the folder called mobiTheme 4. Upload that zip file to wordpress

Let me know how you get along.

Hi again Peter, thanks for being so responsive, so quick and so helpful. I really appreciate it. I have now been able to successfully upload the theme to my website. Thanks again. Enjoy your day! Terry :)

Cheers Terry. Glad you got it to work.
