Good luck with your sales :)

Thanks!

Great Work! GLWS! :)

Cheers!

Looks Awesome, Good luck with sale.

Thanks for your kind words! I just wanted to build something that I would want to use personally.

Great job! Congrats! :)

Thanks, it was fun building my first theme for Ghost!

Looks Great! Just a heads-up, the social media and page links on your preview aren’t working. I assume they do in your theme files but you might want to get those working. Otherwise I love it.

Thanks for checking out Mochi!

The social media links and page links aren’t supposed to work. I left them empty on purpose so the user could replace them with their own links.

I’ve included instructions on how to customize & add your own social media & navigation links in the documentation.

I see, they’re not sharing links but they’re links to your own page on those services. That works ;)

Hi, first thing I have to say is that this theme is lovely! I really like it!

I know that your support does not include customization, but maybe you could give me a hint. I want to customize the theme (mochi), so that it only shows one picture of a post in the preview on my blog-homepage (http://graphr.ghost.io).

Can you or maybe anybody else provide me with a tip how to do that or where to look. I have (very) basic knowledge of html and css but I’m eager to learn :)

Thank you in advance Christian

It sounds like you want a “featured image” to display in your posts, this is isn’t officially support in Ghost but at the moment you can use this workaround:

1. In your index.hbs file, go to line 18. It should have:

{{content words=”80”}}

2. Comment out or remove this line and replace it with this:

{{content words=”0”}}

{{excerpt}}

This will display the first image of your posts on the homepage and use an excerpt of the post.

Hope this helps and thanks for using Mochi!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! It works fine.

No problem! Don’t forget to give Mochi a buyer rating!

How do I customization the right rail buttons? I just bought the theme and uploaded it to Ghost, but I cannot find the customization options…

cmyee

Please take a look at the included documentation (located in the documentation directory), it lists instructions on how to customize the social buttons & navigation links on the right side bar.

Thanks for using Mochi!

Love this theme. Here are a couple of comments, though:

1) Theme gets “stuck” when first loading a page or scrolling all the way to the top on Mobile Safari (iOS 7). By stuck, i mean i cannot scroll down to view more content.

2) Would be nice to have an optional banner at the top of the mobile page layout, something to signal to the user which blog they are on. The blog title, description, and logo are hidden in the drawer.

cmyee

1) Can’t seem to replicate this issue on my iOS 7 devices. The only thing I can think of, is that I do disable scroll on the content ONLY when the sidebar is open on mobile…this was to prevent a potential issue with scroll bars in the sidebar + body content on smaller screens (lPhone).

Could you perhaps post a link to your blog and the steps you take to replicate this issue? More information would help debug this issue that you’ve been experiencing.

2) Good idea, I’ll display the blog logo & name in the header for mobile in the next update.

cmyee

An update to Kochi has been released to address these issues.

is this also for blogger?

cmyee

No sorry, Mochi is only for Ghost at the moment. If there is enough demand I might consider doing a version for Blogger in the future.

Ghost is worth a try, I promise! :)

Is it possible to use this template for wordpress / modx?

cmyee

No sorry, Mochi is only for Ghost at the moment. If there is enough demand I might consider doing a version for WordPress in the future.

Ok, thanks for quick answer :-)

Great theme =) I just wanted to mention that for this theme to work, the folder must be named Mochi rather than mochi.

cmyee

I didn’t think the folder name for the theme was case sensitive, lowercase (mochi) has always seemed to work on my Ghost installations.

Thanks for using Mochi! If you like it please give it a rating on ThemeForest: http://themeforest.net/item/mochi-responsive-theme-for-ghost/6674078/faqs/19411

Hi! I’m not sure if it’s supposed to work like this in the responsive design theme: Please, check my example — I was ready that your custom fonts won’t support Cyrillic fonts, but the images issue is quite disappointing :( http://geekchick.ghost.io/paper_postcards_postagram_vs_iphoto/

cmyee

That’s definitely a bug, here’s how to fix it:

1. Open the screen.css file located in the assets/css folder.

2. Find this CSS class:

.post img {
  margin: 15px 0;
  width: 100%;
  /* Fixed: Full width images in posts */
}

and replace it with this:

.post img {
  margin: 15px 0;
  width: 100%;
height: auto;
  /* Fixed: Full width images in posts */
}

3. Save the file and upload the changed screen.css file.

I’ll update the theme with this fix and submit it to ThemeForest.

Hope this helps! Thanks for purchasing Mochi and don’t forget to give the theme a rating on ThemeForest!

I might consider adding Disqus into a future theme update, but at the moment here’s how to add it to any Ghost theme:

The theme has been updated with this bug fix.

Hello, I think you should create a wordpress version of your template. Now it’s arrived the moment…

Thanks.

If there is enough demand I might consider doing a version for WordPress in the future.
