I meant children pages as a drop down menu from where it says “portfolio”. I really like this template, but having the “portfolio sections – MB1 , MB2” at the bottom is a bit odd. I didn’t even notice it there until I was reading this comments page.

Well yes – those links are child pages of portfolio (multiple galleries with unlimited pics etc) – but no they do not drop down – sorry!
Are you able to make the rotating slider images link to pages?
Yes we are currently updating the theme to allow for linking the slider images, the addition of a blog and small fix to the gallery on some installs. Will be complete here shortly and I will be uploading.
I’d like the header to be white. How do I change it from black to white?
There is no white background available in the style sheets as this was a DARK template (hence it’s name) – however that does not mean you cannot easily create what you need from the supplied images and photoshop files very easily – choose a style sheet you will not be using – (such as black) – then look and see that it calls 2 images for the backgrounds for the home and all the rest of the inner pages – replace those 2 files in the same directory with your new background images (same names) and then choose that style sheet – done. If you have difficulty just contact me via my profile page contact form and I can assist. If you want to use ALL white then you’ll have to change the css to change the colors for titles / paragraph text etc – like I said it is meant to be a dark image to display photos at their maximum impact and clarity.

Great. I got it changed. Just didn’t realize it was a background image. But fixed it. Thanks.
But how do I change the navigation box that roles over the current section from black to white?
If you mean the box that floats as you mouse over etc on the top menu – then look for the image that creates this in the img folder lava.gif. Edit this.

Hi, I really love this theme…it’s brilliant!
I’ve installed once but had a problem with the gallery possibly to do with the plugin. I’m going to do a clean install of the whole thing so hopefully that will help.
I know you have an update coming and that is brilliant, I”m looking forward to it.
I wondered if you’d considered or been asked to include a password protected client gallery area, such as the one on the Shutterspeed theme?

Heey, I just bought the theme, but I’ve got a little problem. I did al the steps, but when I want to activate the theme, its says mb3_dark is broken the style sheet is missing.

I had the same problem and it turned out to be a php issue on my web server.
Jonathan had a look and asked me to make sure the web server was running php5 it turned out it was running php4.
A simple click in the control panel and it’s now running php5 and all seems well.

Just as soon as it’s finished today it will be submitted – it still has to go through the review process
I have no plans for drop downs on this template. The theme uses lavalamp for it’s menu system, you would have to look in to adding drop downs to this jquery based menu system.

I have been using the html version of this template and I love it. My associates and clients all have great comments about it.
I purchased this version to make it easier to update the galleries from time to time. I also have a separate blog site and am looking forward to seeing if I can combine them into one site.

I was just noticing that the gallery navigation only appears on the main portfolio page, not on additional pages. Forces the viewer to return to the main portfolio page via the main navigation bar before they can get to other gallery pages.
As everyone has said…AWESOME theme! A couple of questions: 1) Can you have more than 4 items in the front page slider? If so, what is the maximum
2) Can you have more than 3 items in the gallery thumbnail with mouseover area that is just below the slider?
3) Have you tested and confirmed if the theme works in IE 6 . As old as it is…I hate to say some are still using it.
4) Is the speed at which the front page slider rotates configurable? In other words, can you set how long the delay is before the slider changes.
5) Lastly, Is there a way to tie in your most recent blog postings with the slider, so that the images in the slider are the blog postings?

Hi – thanks for the questions – please remember that this is meant as a photographers portfolio – not a general wordpress blog theme – but here are the answers to your questions:
1 – front page slider will accept up to 5 images and the new version includes the ability to point to a page on your site. (any more and your page will take forever to load – it’s meant as a way of displaying a few select items not your entire portfolio )
2 – No. The design is for 3 images with rollovers – again just as highlight points to entice click throughs to more of your work)
3 – Limited support for IE6 – it degrades but is still somewhat usable.
4 – You can edit the JS to time the slides (link provided to the script authors site where he details answers to questions like this)
5 – Please see answer to #1
