Thanks Jonathan for all your help I do appreciate it. I got your email last night..I suppose then there’s nothing left for me to do except go ahead and start uploading my own content? Have you checked the theme in Opera? So far, firefox is looking good. But i see some top alignment issues viewing opera. Nothing major.

Hi Peter,
I would turn off all plugins first – then follow the instructions provided on setup – switch the theme. Always best to deactivate all plugins and even pages (revert to draft) follow instructions carefully and go forward from that point.

Hello, I’m trying to change Modern Business 3 DARK Wordpress to a white background. I replaced the FFFFFF in the style.css and inner.css. Is there somewhere else that is overrighting the background color? Or and you going to do a light versions of this site soon?

Hi Casey, not sure if there will be a light version or not yet – however if you look at the img folder you will see 2 backgrounds for the pages – in each color theme – one for home and one for inner pages – you can make new ones of those and then alter the css files if needed for font colors etc – but as I said earlier to someone this is Modern Business 3 DARK for a reason
But doesn’t mean with a little hacking you can get it your way
Maybe I will release a light version update in the future (not for a little time yet though!) – we’ll see.

. Would you tell me what font type you used in case of titles such as – Around the site, Our friends, Contact us? I would like to change them to my language and as I realised they are images.
Is there a way to remove text and images from lower part of the page? For example: Around the site, Our friends, Yes, we’re available for hire and contact us. Thanks.
Hi – sure it’s Myriad Pro – if you open any of the supplied PSD files you can select the text and it will tell you in the character panel the font used etc – most people have myriad pro pre-installed as a system font. Hope that helps and glad you like the theme!
claudioapena – You can find them in css—> #nav_container1 background-image (nav_container2… 3) and footer right widget.

I’m noticing that the main blog page is using the splash text from the most recent post. Any way for it to have it’s own? Would be nice to put a sticky greeting there.

Just did an experiment that worked. Others may benefit from this.
I created a real simple post with the title “Welcome to the Blog”. The post itself was just an explanation that the post was a sticky ‘welcome’ post. I then put another welcome in the splash section of the post.
After publishing the post I went into quick-edit and made the post sticky. Then I put in another post after it.
The result was perfect. The sticky post itself moved down the line just like any other post. However, the splash text remained on top and showed as the text in the splash area of the main blog page.

If I want to see the screencast videos embedded in the site (my site under screencast menupoint) it says I am not authorized for watching it. ??? I know I can see the original ones, just I don’t understand.
That’s because I do not allow embedding of those videos anywhere else – it’s a setting in Vimeo to stop people embedding on other sites.
Ok, thanks, just I did not understand that there is a page with video I can’t see. No problem.
My contact form is working, but from the user standpoint it doesn’t look like it works. Is there supposed to be a Thank you message? I’d like to see one so that the user feels like its working.
If the form is working then you will see the ajax message saying “Thank You! – We have received your form submission – we aim to reply to all correspondence within 24 hours.” – if not then you don’t have everything loaded
It loads on the same page – the form “rolls up” and displays the confirmation message – if you don’t see that check you uploaded everything and followed all directions in the instructions – if you still have issues then please contact me via my profile page contact form with site link etc – thanks!

I downloaded and set it up. Is there a constraint on the front page images if the file size is too large? Seems to be loading in a very unprofessional way and the navbar (jquery) sliding feature is mis-aligned.
there is a provided slider photoshop file at the correct size for you to use – the only reason you will be experiencing your alignment and “unprofessional” results is because you created your image at a size too big I presume.
