Hello. I was wondering what was the best way to add more than 6 photos in a gallery, say 100 total. It’s for a wedding gallery. Normally I use slideshow pro on a separate page but with this new slick website I would like to put the gallery in a same looking page. Any info or links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would love to buy a theme but not sure if I’ll have problems …I have godaddy hosting and bought a theme somewhere else but I can’t get the person to give me instructions on how it should unzip or be placed on my server. I’m guessing it wouldn’t all remain in folders since my root has to contain index.html etc. but something I did wasn’t right. Anyway, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your dark html theme and would much rather have that. To hell with the other theme I bought and the person who made it!! If I buy this theme, will you tell me how it should be placed on my server after I make my customizations? Surprisingly, customizing is the one part I’m good at lol.

I sure hope you can understand my question cuz I’m not really sure how to word it since I’m not a developer or coder or anything.

I’m considering the purchase but before doing that I need few more details plz I need to understand what do you mean by “FLICKR INTEGRATION ” : do you mean that, for example, I can specify my flickr ID or a set number and then the website will display automatically the content? I’m really interested in this feature because all my pictures are hosted on flickr and I don’t want to re-upload everything again!

Furthermore regarding the “portfolio” section, I’ve noticed that for example for each section there are 6 pictures that can be zoomed ; what happens with more pictures (example 30?). In my case I’ve got totally 10 sections (which actually are 10 sets on flickr), and each one of them contains from 50 to 100 pictures, would that be possibile to display them inside the website?

I purchased the theme and would like to first say thank you. Now, I am having some problems but will try to figure it out before I ask for help. However, I would like to know if this is what my root folder on my directory should look like.. -colored backgrounds -css -Help Files -img -js -photoshop files .DS_Store about.html contact.html index.html life.html mailer.php portfolio.html scenic.html services.html

Does that look right? I like the drop down list instead of the other so I’m only using those files. Is that also right? I’m assuming I don’t use HTML Files AND HTML Files For Drop Downs. Please let me know if I’m on the right track. If all that is correct I’ll know what my problem is. I tried to change the name of the ‘life.html, scenic.html, etc’ and also in the coding where it seemed fit but perhaps I did a little too much. lol…

I purchased this a few weeks back. I did not need drop-downs then, but I do now. Did the package I bought come with that availability? I see a folder inside the .zip that says “HTML files for dropdown, but when I open the index.html, it is just a static menu like the one in the live preview. May I have the files for the dropdowns please?

Jonathan, I apologize, but I did not know that was an option, or I certainly would have chosen it. Would it be a big deal to offer the dropdown version to me since I did buy an alternate version? If possible, I would greatly appreciate it.

Than several “technical” questions: - Now I read more closely the comments, I see that exist a folio with sumnenues for the galeries. I began with the other one… should it been possible to tell me more exactly where are the differences so I can adapt my wrong version (my pardon), I had my yes closed ..; - About the js for sliding in the index page: You write there “to switch directions up/down … ”, I do not understand where the changes have to been done (just for try what are the differences); -In the js-folder, I find “ajaxform.js” but no connection in the pages. What is the benefit of this script and how to use it?

no trouble, I found by myself the solution regarding the Galleries-Pages.

Another big problem I found during my tests on the most important browser-types is, that the slider doesn’t work on IE9 . There, the 3 pictures are shown one under the other. It seems that the JS doesn’t work on this borwser. Please have a look there.

the IE9 -Problem is gone… no idea why? it’s ok.

The only thing who will stay is the slider (see last post).

The site not online at the moment because my Godson doesn’t have a provider at the moment. So, if it’s really necessary, I will put it on my private site. But I like to give you the name of the site outsite this discussion, if possible.

I found the reason why my changes didn’t work till now: This JS-Programm works around with the “class” used in the div’s. You use the class=”boxgrid captionfull”, so the changes has to be made in the lines regarding $(’.boxgrid.captionfull’).hover(function().

In the begin, I didn’t really understand how this js works.

My excuses for the stupid questions.

Hope to find other fine templates from you. (I’m searching especially after one who works and shows correctly even on normal pc, tablets and handhelds…)
