Hi, How can I enable mobile version of the site? I have built a site using the theme. But when I checked it on my iphone, it was the same as the desktop one. I thought the theme had got a mobile version as the hero image on the home page.

Hi, I’m learning using Wordpress to build blog and website. I bought Modernize. Currently I met a problem. It’s about “Portfolio”. Please check my website http://www.keangifts.com although under construction. e.g. When I add a new portfolio like “test portfolio”, the permalink is defaulted as http://www.keangifts.com/portfolio/test-portfolio, but the problem is that this link can not be opened. I was confused and can not figure it out. Please tell us what the problem is and what I should do step by step as I’m really a freshman on this. Furthermore, if you go to check the porfolio on the homepage, it can not be opened. Also I can not understand why all the portfolio appear in the page “silicone bracelet”. I tried to change permalink like product, products but it still didn’t work. Also I have disabled the plugin and even delete it, but still not work.
Is it related to redirects? please provide some further suggestion or solution.

Problem already solved by myself. I just install a plugin to Disable Canonical Redirects, then all works fine.

Is Modernize theme multilanguage ready? Does it work with qtranslate pluing or WPML plugin?

Excellent theme! Looks great! Full featured and very well implemented. I would highly recommend it. The main reason I would recommend it is not the theme itself (which is great), but for the excellent support provided by GoodLayers!
I’ve used a number of Wordpress themes in the past, on my own blogs (I have 3), but also for clients. While I’ve liked certain looks or features of the others, none of them have even come close in terms of support. I recently switched a client to this theme after it became apparent critical features weren’t coming any time soon to the theme we switched from (and the support was minimal… bugs only, IF the author could be convinced it was a bug.) GoodLayers fixes bugs quickly, but also has helped on a number things which many other developers would have charged for… and they have always responded quickly.
In fact, I have a couple more sites that need new themes soon and my experience here as been so good… my criteria is ultimately coming down to which which GoodLayers theme is going to be the best fit. Bravo guys!
The only potential thing some might not like is that they use the Wordpress ‘static page’ with their Page Builder to implement the ‘home page’ of the site, which tends to confuse new users. It makes things more flexible, but a bit non-standard in what people are used to with many other themes. That said, this isn’t a secret, and they have videos to help guide people through this. My only suggestion in that regard would be to slow down a bit on the instructional video and get someone to do a voiceover… as it’s a bit hard to follow a quick and silent walkthrough.
