I’m building a site at http://dev.americancivicscenter.com and trying to use the page builder to build a three column layout on the homepage. The left column should is a toggle box, the middle a blog with mini thumbnails, and the right a testimonial box.
I want to make each column 1/3, but for some reason I don’t have the option to make the blog 1/3. It goes from 1/4 (of which I like the layout) to 1/2.
I could just hardcode in what I need, but I would like the flexibility to have someone edit the toggle box from the backend. Is it possible to make the blog expand to a 1/3 column size, but keep the thumbnail style of the 1/4 size?
I’m using some hacky CSS to make it work right now, but it doesn’t align properly in the mobile view because of the spacing hacks I have to do.

ah, yes really sorry but there’s no 1/3 option for that blog layout… you need to hard code like what you did.

sorry but I think you need to try with default theme too so I can see if it’s the problem by the theme or not. I should take just one minute.
Just switch the theme and open it on your mobile, after seeing result you can turn back to Modernize theme.

BTW, this theme doesn’t have blog layout as column style. if you need this function you may check the theme ‘megazine’ or ‘bangkokpress’

A couple of feature requests
and a quick question.
Can you make it possible to add multiple lines to the text that is up on the top right corner and add an optin to change its font/colour.
Is it possible to have a default colour option for the individual elements and not just for reloading the whole lot at once?
Add a custom css section in the modernize control panel to allow these changes if you don’t have an option for specific elements like the above (unless i’ve overlooked it)
Also, what forum plugin are you using on the goodlayers forum it is very good!!

Thanks for that, the BR worked fine and i can alter it using the css. Pity about a cutom css box as it would be nice to keep all my alterations in one easy place to cut and paste.
With the color elements, there is a load default color option, but it is for every element in the theme. Is it possible to only load the default for each section so that i dont need to record every colour in every place i’ve changed it? Have I made sense this time

Just a piece of text saying what the default was would be ok so we can change back to the default on that element only byt seeing what you had..
Anyway, another question or two.
1. Is there any way to export (or just see) the code that is generated by the gt3 page builder on any page. Only I am scared that if the company I am building this site for ever change themes, all the data is locked up in the page builder sections unless some content was placed in the main content area will be invisible..
2. Do you have a list of shortcodes anywhere, I couldnt see it in the help file, particularly for doing a slider or blog box as there is no button there except the gt3 which i’ll have to avoid.

Why do the images lazy load? Can this be turned off?
