Moderno Corporate WordPress Theme

Well the theme doesn’t actually have a contact form built-in. So if there is an issue it’s definitely with either the plugin you are using or your server and not the theme. There literally isn’t anything theme-side that would have an affect on you receiving the emails or not.

Have you checked your SPAM folders?

You say you’ve tried different addresses, so my guess is it’s likely a server-side issue.

Most contact plugins, including Contact Form 7, use built-in contact functions from WordPress Core. Are you able to receive any emails from WordPress such as new comment notifications?

It’s pretty complicated actually. It would require creating a custom template for that page and a custom quicksand callback function.

The actual filter callback you can find in js/jquery.quicksandinit.js – this is the code you’ll need to duplicate/edit for your new template.

You should be able to do this all via CSS . This should cover the main content:

body.single-portfolio .post{ width: 100%; }
#single-portfolio-content{ width: 430px; }
#sidebar{ display: none; }

can’t really remember, but pretty sure the related carousel would need manual editing of the JS files.

• You can only have a sidebar on the homepage if you do not plan on using the drag-drop homepage modules but rather just use a static page.

• A black sidebar would require custom css on your part – not sure how good it would look in this design

I sent the message via your profile page. Hope you got it. Did you see what I’m trying to achieve. Is is possible using your Gamma theme? My main concern is that the videos can be in a portfolio page template, and they can pop up in a lightbox on the page itself when clicked. I notice yours go to another page. Can this request be achieved in Gamma? Also is it possible for multiple blog pages & sidebars?

If you are getting 404 errors its usually an issue with permalinks. Going to settings->permalinks and re-saving the options should fix it.

I don’t have any plans to.

The main issue is because it uses a lot of carousels and 3 column layouts, it wouldn’t be ideal.

Yes, it’s quite easy.

In the Theme Settings panel under the Portfolio tab there are 2 options in there for choosing how many items to show per page. If you want to show ALL items enter -1 for the option.

Of course categories should work.

From what I can tell from the source code that second link you showed me is actually set as the homepage (which would show all items).

There must be some sort of permalink mix-up somewhere but hard to tell based just on what I can see on the front-end.

Are you getting any sort of error when you try to save the Options Panel? Unfortunately I can’t really help you out without actually logging in and seeing for myself.

I actually made a tiny plugin for this sort of thing. It will allow you to use a shortcode to define different languages like such:

[wpml_translate lang=es]Hola[/wpml_translate]
[wpml_translate lang=en]Hello[/wpml_translate]

Alternatively you can update your theme file so that if the theme option is blank it shows a default text that is localized. That might work for you and i can help you do that – but you’d need to send me your logins so I can do the update.

I’ve never heard of anything like that…It would either have to be some sort of plugin you’ve installed messing things up or an issue with your Database or WordPress install.

The blog page on this theme just uses a basic WP query to get posts, it wouldn’t be able to even do what you are saying.

I had a look at the plugin you are using. It says it does support custom post types. I think you need to check to activate support for them though. Can you look through the settings?

I’ve just noticed that while it worked when i’m viewing the post, when i go to the blog page and see the list of posts the date for each one is still coming up for each one.

how can I take the date away from this section too?

Ya, it looks like you’l need to tweak the CSS . It seems like the fields aren’t floating correctly. I looked via Firebug and don’t really see any of the theme’s CSS being added to the fields except some padding, border and a little margin.
