Do you know how many items this theme/plugins support? We’re looking at a e-commerce site with possibly 10,000 or more items.

EskiLabs

Hi laurawilliams,

Our theme uses a plugin called WooCommerce for the e-commerce functionality. WooCommerce doesn’t actually have any limits on the number of products you can store per se, but there may be varying performance, depending on your host and how well optimised WooCommerce is for this number of products, which we have no experience with, nor could we offer any guarantee as it’s a third party plugin.

I’d recommend you to do some Google searching for WooCommerce and a large number of products before purchasing to be sure it meets your needs. Thanks for considering our theme though and best of luck on your search. =)

Hey – why does your theme not have the coupon code field displayed on the checkout page? how can I make sure it shows up there?

EskiLabs

Hi Nathan,

Have you enabled coupons in WooCommerce settings? If so, it should simply display.

Hi there, I am having trouble with the checkout page as I am having the ‘Place Order’ and ‘Accept terms & conditions’ elements appearing twice. I can’t locate where the duplicate script is coming from, can I email you site details?

EskiLabs

Hi helveticadesign,

Please post this issue on our support forum along with a link to the page in question. I assume you haven’t attempted to customise anything?

Hello Eskilabs,

Hope you have time for my pre-buying question, I wanted to ask if it’s possible to make the shop photos larger? or changing the layout of the shop?

EskiLabs

Hi MongeyMongey,

You can adjust photo sizes in WooCommerce settings, although to see the sizes change on the frontend, you’d need to adjust the layout, perhaps display 3 products per row instead of 4 for example to allow more width for the images to become larger, if that makes sense.

It’s really easy to adjust the number of products per row on the archive, but customization beyond that would require you to use a child theme, copy the required WooCommerce templates from the parent theme to the child theme and make your customizations there.

Ultimately though, everything’s customizable, it just depends on your skill level how easy you’ll find it.

I hope this helps. Do let me know if you have any other questions, and thanks for considering Mill (formerly Mommerce). =)

I have a problem with the sticky menu. I have enabled it, but it is not working anymore.

The header HTML starts with div id="sticky" class="wait" but it should be: div id="sticky" class="follow"

Why does it say “wait”? It there another setting somewhere?

EskiLabs

Hi jce200,

It uses class ‘wait’ because that leaves it static, it is later changed to ‘follow’ as you scroll down the page by javascript to make it follow the user’s scroll. If you haven’t modified your theme, I’d first suggest disabling all plugins and testing to see if it works.

If it does, re-enable one plugin at a time, refreshing the page after each plugin you enable until it breaks so that you can identify which plugin is causing the conflict.

You should also check your browser’s web console in developer tools for any errors, because if there is a single error in any other script that you’re including, it will stop other javascript files from executing.

If it still doesn’t work with all plugins disabled and you haven’t modified your theme, please post on our support forum along with a link to your site.

Hi,

Before I purchase I would like to ask a few questions:

1. Is there a way to add social media icons on the product pages for customers to share? 2. Also do you have a ‘wishlist’ page? 3. Can I add currency on the top bar, does it work?

Thank you very much, Lisa

EskiLabs

Hi Lisa,

Apologies for the delay in reply, I’ve had the weekend off work.

1. You can add a newsletter form using one of the widgetized areas in the footer. You can do this by using a plugin or you can drop the code into a child theme, whichever works best for you.

2. Yes, related products is core functionality of WooCommerce (the plugin that provides the eCommerce functionality) and therefore baked in, no plugin required. You can see how related products looks on the demo too.

3. Yes, this is just example text we used when dressing up the theme. That content is edited in the same way you’d edit a post or page so really easy to change how that page looks, as well as all copy.

I hope this helps to answer your questions, and do feel free to continue asking any questions that you have, it’s not a problem at all. We’d rather you asked all of your questions to make sure the theme is right for you and your site’s needs than to purchase and then find it not to be right for you. =)

Hi, I’ve purchased the theme, and I opened up a ticket on the support page but i’m not getting any feedbacks. This is getting me worried so I’ll post here.

1. When i installed the theme, I got this notice “Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files” 2. I cannot install both Envato Toolkit and eski Shortcodes, it says “Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Envato_WP_Toolkit in /home1/pufftiqu/public_html/wp-content/plugins/envato-wordpress-toolkit-master/index.php on line 10” 3. Can I have the Blush XML demo please?

Thanks, Lisa

EskiLabs

Hello,

Woocommerce warn me about some obsolete template files of your theme:

- review-order.php version 2.1.0 est obsol├Ęte. La version du core est 2.1.8

- grouped.php version 2.1.0 est obsol├Ęte. La version du core est 2.1.7,

My Mommerce theme version is 1.0.2 My WP version is 3.9.2 My Woocommerce version is 2.1.12

EskiLabs

Hi toopixel,

WooCommerce updates quite regularly and when they make even the smallest of template changes, they adjust the version number which outdates all WooCommerce themes.

Most of the time, the changes are small and not breaking, so we choose not to release an update just for the sake of updating version numbers. When there are important template changes, we will of course update templates and make a release.

So basically, don’t worry about the version numbers or outdated messages, it doesn’t impact Mill (Mommerce). That said, we are preparing a release very shortly which includes updated template versions to get rid of the nag message.

Hello again,

I would like to get rid of the single product right sidebar which is useless for me as my shop has only 1 product to sell, but I can’t find how in the theme (eg. this page http://www.eski.io/demo/mill-crimson/product/awesome-gluten-free-brownie-mix/)

Where should I do this?

I found this one by myself. It’s ok now, it was in Woocommerce product page settings.

EskiLabs

Hi toopixel,

Glad you got it resolved.

For the benefit of others who might come across this message. Products inherit the settings of the shop archive, so if you set the archive to have no siderbar, neither will any of your product pages.

This is designed this way intentionally so that you don’t have to setup the same options for every single product which would be quite cumbersome.

Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to use the banner widget area, I added something to that widget (like social icons, or some text) but I can’t make it appear anywhere on the website. How should it be used to display something?

EskiLabs

Hi toopixel,

Have you selected what the right content in the banner area should be under ‘Appearance > Theme Options’ in WP admin? Because by default we use that area for the checkout, you have to tell the theme by using that setting that you’re planning to use a widget for your checkout elsewhere and that you’d like to use the banner area for your own custom widget.

So that you know, we have a support forum with a wealth of knowledge, and you’re of course welcome to post new questions if you can’t find the answers you’re looking for.

Thank you that worked, however for others: that work only with the header style one (when the main menu is under the header, not on right)

Though would be good if it was possible to set the social icons widget on top left above the logo, or also in different places but where it have already a good CSS style, because on footer the social icons looks good, but on other places the design of the widget is terrible (lack of CSS to adapt it)

Hello,

I am trying to embed a Vimeo video into a band template, what I would like to do is to have it taking the entire width of the window and to fill the entire area of the band I want to embed it into. It seems I can’t do this, any idea how?

EskiLabs

Hi toopixel,

I haven’t attempted this myself but I imagine it’s a case of applying a 100% width to the embed so that it touches edge to edge and potentially adjusting the padding on the band, I assume that’s what you’re trying to achieve. It’s obviously difficult to really understand or comment on without something to look at.

However, this is a customisation question and not an issue with the theme itself so I’m afraid it is outside of our scope of support. You can read more about our support policy and we’ve also put together a post with links for help with customisations which you may find useful. You are also welcome to still post your question on our support forum, you never know, another user might be able to help you out.

Best of luck.

My shortcodes are actually as follow:

[band id=”video”] http://vimeo.com/28164488 [/band]

Basically what’s happen now is that the video display in the middle of the band, but it doesn’t take the entire width of it, and besides the width there’s empty space above and at bottom of the video that I can’t get rid of.

I was hoping that the theme would support also videos as backgrounds just like it support images as backgrounds of bands, would be nice feature and pretty much common everywhere actually.

EskiLabs

Bands have padding top and bottom. You would need to add some custom CSS #video { padding: 0; } to remove the top and bottom padding. As for the video, you might be able to use CSS for that too, something like #video embed { width: 100%; }. Obviously this code is untested as I don’t have anything to try it against but that should give you the general direction as to what you need to do. Add your custom CSS in a child theme stylesheet or under ‘Appearance > Theme Options’ in WP admin.

As for supporting background videos, this is primarily an e-commerce theme hence the reason it wasn’t included. That said, I’ll keep it in mind and may look to add support in a future release.
