At first, nice to hear that. Please notice, that main file (index) is a PHP file. So, it couldn’t work locally (without server). Maybe it’s a problem?

so in order to customize the template, I modify the .psd file in PhotoShop. no problem. my question is AFTER I modify the psd file do I need to export it? what do I do?

It depends on the modifications you’ve made. Changes in PSD source file doesn’t directly translate into changes in HTML /CSS template. In addition changes may require modifications of template files eg: .CSS
that is what I thought. how do I change the text, do I use DreamWeaver, if not Dreamweaver what do I use. do I export the slices in the psd file into the graphics folder??? why do you not have some kind of instructions on how to modify the template. when you say you can edit the website in Photoshop that is not correct. but you have the psd in slices.

second question… where is the index.html file? there is a .php file, but where is the main index.html. i can’t even open the website from the files you sent me from my browser.

PSD file with complete project is included and this file includes all of the graphic elements used in the template. This means that you can edit them directly in photoshop and then overwrite the existing ones (by using slices or duplicate modified element into a new document, then crop, then save).
Most of the template elements are based on CSS so you need at least basic knowledge in CSS /HTML to modify the overall look of this template.
To just edit text you need any basic text or html editor. Just edit index.php or files within “page” folder. Edit text, then save under the same name with the same extension.
Base template file is PHP – that is true. You need to upload files to the server because not everything works locally.

I like the template but when I try to disable the google map in contact file the background slider doesen’t work anymore. I try ti delete , or when I comment our the function $this.createGoogleMap(); the background slider doesn’t work. Whet I have to do?

can you please help me all I want to do is change an existing link “Services” and call it ‘Projects” where do I change this? I tried renaming it but it does not work. should I do a “Save As”. also from WHERE do I change these links? I don’t see the menu bar from the index.php file. I only see the menu bar from the other pages?

Please just open file index.php, find a phrase “Services” and change it. You can do it in every PHP editor.
Files do not show up when posted to ftp. Homepage does not show up. Index.php does not display.

Yes, because Monaco isn’t a WP theme. It’s only a HTML /CSS template.
