Sorry, that didn’t do quite what I was intending.

I don’t want the links to appear in a different color “permanently” only while the list item is currently selected. I figured this would require an alteration to script because it’s linked to button operation.

My website is at www.kevinbrigden.com.

I require the “about”, “employment”, “education” etc menu links to remain blue for the currently selected page and NOT for the others. In the same way as the currently selected page has a small triangular tab underneath it.

I have tried adding the “a.selected” CSS code but it doesn’t seem to work.

Ok. Now I see. Please open file style/base.css and add this sample code on the end of the section Header / Menu:

ul.header-menu li a.selected
{
color:red;
}

It works fine for me.

Hi. I can’t get the webpage to work…. How do I access php.ini? also where do I find the <? to change to <?php. to make those changes…also I saved the php as an index.html and the page shows up in the browser but I can’t make the about, portfolio, etc to work…:( Don’t know what else to do…

    Thank you for all your help. I have two more questions:

    1.The background scales down when you make your window smaller. Can I take this out? So that the image always stays same scale? Where do I do that? Is that possible and can you post an example code…

    2. I need to also add a video (.flv…that that file type work) and audio (mp3) file to this page on the Portfolio section…is that possible and can you post an example code and where to do it….

    1) Please check documentation of supersized plugin: http://www.buildinternet.com/project/supersized/docs.html. This plugin is used by file /script/monaco.js in function this.createSupersizedSlider=function() (line 290).

    2) You can add only videos from Youtube or Vimeo. Other types aren’t supported without modifications.

I am almost done now and I have one more question….I opened the site in Safari and Chrome (no problem), Firefox (audio doesn’t work, doesn’t know why) and the most confusing InternetExplorer 9 (doesn’t work at all..the layout is all messed up)...what can I do to fix that problem?
