This is cool but noticed a few bugs.
1 – The home background image distorts (gets thinner) when you view it vertically on a tablet (ipad 1) or smart phone (galaxy nexus)
2 – The navigation and home page text run into everything on a smart phone. It flashes several times like its trying to load then never stays at the top of the screen and just mashes into all the text/content below.
3 – The drop down nav (pages, portfolio) doesn’t work at all on the ipad.

1. Yes, this is in the design of the theme. Of the available options to handle the image (crop off screen etc.) the designer decided this was the best way to handle this functionality. If anyone would prefer the screen crop method (losing the image sides but preserving the dimensions) I can provide instructions to change this very simply
2. This is partly due to the TF bar added to the top of the screen, but I think I could also make a few improvements here. I’ll update this asap

Also, in playing with the shortcodes I noticed these bugs
1 – The tabs don’t work on the ipad
2 – Clicking a team members picture sends you back to the top instead of activating the overlay
I’m also still noticing the nav bar keeps bouncing around as I scroll on a smartphone (galaxy nexus). This happens both in vertical and horizontal views.

The bouncing navigation is likely due to the ThemeForest bar as it doesn’t appear on my mobile devices, try here; http://www.madeinebor.com/montreal
I always remove the envato bar, so we can rule that out. It’s not an issue on my ipad, just my galaxy nexus and my partner’s S3.
When you’re initially scrolling down its fine. But when you try to go back up again, you see the weird bouncing float.
Fair enough,
1. iPad nav spacing, fixed
2. The team member overlays are working fine on HTC Sensation and a Google Nexus 7. The team social profiles are currently set to ’#’ as it’s just the demo, so they’re likely what’s sending you to the top of the page.
I’m not experiencing any bobbing on my HTC or Nexus 7, so I’ll investigate this further for you.

And not trying to be a pain in the ass, I just REALLY want to use this theme for one of our new projects and want to make sure it’s in tip top shape before we implement.

Again, it’s fine on what I have available here, what behaviour are you experiencing on the iPad? I’m testing on HTC sensation and Nexus 7 and both devices are fine, annoyingly!
Only experiencing the tabs issue on our ipads – all fine on our samsung phones.
On the ipad, when you click one of the tabs on the shortcodes page, nothing happens. The URL does change to reflect the # and tab number, but the content in the tab box doesn’t change to match.

Oh great, just an question, i realise the menu is now different on my iPad, but i would like to have it the same way how it appears on my desktop, is it something i can choose or it’s different because of mobil device? please let me know as i really love this theme

The mobile menu now appears on mobile detection to cope with the iPad’s large screen. If you want to remove this function I’m more than happy to help

Bug in chrome browser (Version 24.0.1312.57) it shows the mobile navigation, it shows/work perfect in IE and FF.

It’s likely you have a touch-screen computer, I’ve added a touch detection script in there for compatible browsers which create a more touch screen friendly menu.

The newsletter function at the bottom, does this actually record data and store it? When on the notes, does the widget ‘popular posts’ and ‘recent’ work automatically? (On the right?)

1. The newsletter widget sends and email to your admin email address with the captured email like so;
xzy@email.com would like to be added to your newsletter list.2. Yes the popular posts and recent posts have been built in as a custom widget and automatically update based on date / recorded number of views

Montreal operates on a two-colour system, currently set to black and white. You can control each with 1-click in my theme-customizer. If you’d like to add a white background to the header navigation it will just take a few CSS changes. I’d be happy to help

1. Montreal has a 1-click colour change system using 2 colours (currently black & white) and a highlight colour (Currently Green) for simplicity.
2. You can easily embed Vimeo and Youtube videos using the ‘video’ format; http://www.madeinebor.com/montreal/portfolio/envato-sting/ I’m going to add self-hosted video in the next update.

I may have put myself accross wrong
Here’s how the colours in Montreal Work:
I use the Wordpress Theme Customizer so you can make 1 click colour changes from the full colour spectrum, the colour options you get are this;
Each of these are modified by a one-click colour changer rather than CSS. If you want to make any advanced colour changes (99%) won’t need to, then you can use CSS, but if you just want dark blue instead of black, you can do that with one click

The slider is a background animation, currently there isn’‘t an option to use clickable elements to change slides, you can use your keyboard arrows though!
