Great work! I’ve purchased this theme and can’t figure out where to change the twitter feed. (which account it calls the tweets from).

Hello pkaleita,

Thank you for your interest with Morphis.

I would like to help you out however, I can’t verify your account (using the ThemeForest customer purchase verification and also here on the comments section) that you purchased my theme. How come you have installed already my theme? If you have purchased the theme with another account, please use that instead when asking for support.

Anyways,

You can change the twitter name on the “script.js” file on the “js” folder and find these codes:

    /* -------------- Twitter strip  --------------*/
        $('#tweet-strip .container .sixteen').jTweetsAnywhere({
            username: 'RottenTomatoes',
            count: 1
        });

    /* -------------- Twitter Sidebar  --------------*/
        $('#tweets-sidebar').jTweetsAnywhere({
            username: 'RottenTomatoes',
            count: 3
        });

Change the “username” property to your twitter username.

Thank you… It was purchased under a different user name… I will get that info and re-post…

Hi, grate theme, Is it easy to insert a google map in contact? and another question: - is it possible to have a menu for swop website languages?

many thanks

janintia

Hi maracol,

1.) The theme has a “Shortcode generator button” which can generate shortcodes like “Google Map”. However, the “Google Map” used by the theme is a generated static image. You can view a sample here. And this is easily embeddable in the Contact Page.

2.) I am not sure what you mean by “swop website languages”. Can you give an example?

Hi, thanks for reply me, what I mean for language is: 1- or to add a drop down menu where you can choose your language and the website is properly translated with text that I’ll provide 2- or normal buttons with the different language to choose.

many thanks

janintia

Hi maracol,

No, sorry, the theme does not have any functionality like that.

I have purchased this theme and found that the tabs do not come down in Internet Explorer.. Is there any way to fix that?

Thanks, Taylor Hettinger

janintia

Hello Taylor,

Which Internet Explorer version are you using? Is this the navigation menu or the tabs which you generate using the shortcode? Also, which version of the theme are you currently using?

Hi, I purchased your theme and my website is very slow. What scripts in the theme need to be altered to improve performance?

janintia

Hello PrincessYikou,

May I ask first, which of the theme did you purchased? The HTML template of Morphis or the WordPress one? Because I cannot seem to verify you as a purchaser in any of them. Can you use your ThemeForest account that you used to purchase the theme so I can verify your purchase? Thanks.

Regarding your question, right now, I cannot give you a full answer as you have not stated much about the details of your site. Giving some details about your site will be very much helpful like your site address or if you are using any WordPress plugins ( if you’re using WordPress ) or if you have made any initial basic testing first to see if the theme/template really is the one that slows down your website which is done by using other templates first and comparing it to the theme/template.

If you’re using the WordPress version of the theme/template, you can use some caching plugin like W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache to improve performance.

On the other hand, the HTML template uses very little scripts, so minimizing http requests ( like images, scripts, stylesheets ) will help.

Hello Jan Intia, I am almost already to go, but all of a sudden my dropdown bars are not appearing in Firefox or Internet Explorer. I have troublshooted with my domain provider and they have checked all my file locations etc and everything seems good on their end. We just changed the URL, but they couldn’t find any problems in that regard. The site was working fine one day and then not, the next. It only seems to happen when you access the site indirectly (e.g by clicking on the link after searching the site name in google. If the page is refresehed, or the home or contact buttons are clicked, the navigation dropdowns appear on the refreshed page. Any suggestions?! Very strange.

Thank you again,

Tianmei

Hi janintia,

I bought your theme and like it very much. Unfortunately there is one small issue and I highly appreciate if you could fix that: The footer does not stay at the bottom. You can test that by decreasing fontsize in your demo-page to a minimum and the footer gets wings :-) Could you please make the footer stick to the bottom and provide an update for the new version? That would be just great!

Kind regards, mw75

janintia

Hello mw75,

Thank you for choosing the HTML template. :)

Yes, the footer of the template does not stick to the bottom. I think it is kind of tricky to do this because the theme is responsive. But I think the following steps might work:

1.) Open index.html file and then look for this line of code:

<!-- MAIN CONTAINER-->

and then just below it add the following line of code:

<div class="main-container">

2.) Next, look for this line of code:

<!-- END MAIN CONTAINER -->

And then above it, add the following code:

</div>

3.) Next, look for this line of code:

<!-- TWITTER STRIP -->

And then above it, add the following code:

<div id="footer">

4.) Next, look for this line of code:

<!-- END SITEINFO -->

And then below it, add the following code:

</div>

5.) Lastly, open layout.css which is inside the css/ folder and add the following CSS codes at the end of the file:

/* Sticky Footer */
html, body {
    height: 100%;
}
#wrapper {
    display: table;
    width: 100%;
    height: 100%;
}

#wrapper > #top-section, #wrapper > .main-container, #wrapper > #footer {
    display: table-row;
    height: 1px;
}
#wrapper > .main-container {
    height: auto;
}

That’s it. The footer should now stick to the bottom. But take note that the above steps we did was for index.html file. You need to repeat steps 1 through 4 for each of the HTML files you are using(about.html, 404.html, blog.html, portfolio.html, etc.).

Hi Jan, cool thanks for the reply – it works fine now…

Nice template. I have a pre-purchase question. If I wanted to add this template in a wordpress page after customizing it would it work?

janintia

Hello Portedu,

Thank you for your interest with the theme. However, the HTML template would not be compatible with WordPress. You would need to buy the Wordpress version of the theme.
