short question before purchase: Is it possible to remove the sidebar in the article view and use the same content width as in the article overview?
Hey there, the sidebar can be removed but the content width stays the same, you may be better purchasing Wharton or Nerdy as you can turn the sidebar on/off on both of those and the content width is the same as the homepage.
I uploaded my logo at 877×376 (which is the same ratio as 350×150), but it is getting squished on mobile screens. Any ideas how to fix? The logo needs to be bigger than the recommended 350×150.
Hi did you upload a retina logo at twice the size too? Please raise a support ticket at http://www.meanthemes.com/support if you need anything else.
That is the size of the retina logo, sorry. the regular is half of 877×376.
Hi there, we’ll need to see a URL to see what is happening, if you raise a support ticket as above we can get this looked into for you
Hi! I am loving this clean, well-coded theme; thanks for that. I have a quick question & I went to your support site to open a ticket but I’m getting an internal server error message.
Quick question – can the font colour for blog posts be changed easily? I love the theme but would prefer a darker font for the text in blog posts/pages
Hey there, yes you can do that straight from the theme options
Fastest response for a pre-sales question – EVER!
Awesome to hear and thank you!:)
Two more questions for you:
I’m currently using the Epik theme for Genesis, it has some nice buttons and I have the code added to a lot of my posts. I’ve managed to add these buttons to other Genesis child themes by copying the CSS code across – could I do this with your theme?
My next question, is there much I can do with featured images, they’re a different size on my current theme but I hope I don’t have to recreate them all, they are 734×298. Is there any way these could work with this theme?
Hi again, Moustachey is child theme compatible and has a custom css block built into the theme options too. If they are physically 734 width then you are going to be about 200px shy of the 940px on Moustachey. You could use some CSS to stretch them though if needed.
Thanks! Good to know!
Do you have an example of typography anywhere? Couldn’t see one on the demo.
What do you want to see exactly, there is a range of typography across all of the pages? h1 – h6 etc. ?
Heading tags, quotes, pull quotes and any shortcodes – would be very useful to see!
No worries… http://www.meanthemes.com/theme/moustachey/typography/
Awesome – thanks!
No worries at all
Is there a way to fix a post to the top of the home page of the blog so that it isn’t sorted by post date?
Setting the post as a sticky post should provide that functionality.
Can you get the post format “Gallery” to auto change picture every 8 seconds or so if there is more then one picture associated with that post?
Hi there, this isn’t built in to the theme, it is something you’d need to add yourself. It is however a functionality that is in Lolly and Nerdy, two of our other themes.
Hi there, do you have an example page with a map on it? Can you set the map to be the home page? Thanks.
The contact page has a map and that could be set as static homepage via settings > reading http://www.meanthemes.com/theme/moustachey/contact/
hi, i just installed gustos to lamanresepi.com
but “No posts were found” at homepage.
How to resolve the problem
Hi there it doesn’t look like you are running moustachey. Also your comment doesn’t have a purchased tag next to it so I’m wondering if you’ve bought a different theme? If you are having issues with Moustachey please log a ticket at https://meanthemes.ticksy.com with administrator level login details and we’ll look into it for you.
