Great template… one small issue right out of the box i didn’t realize until after. In IE9 the background for the menu doesn’t appear. It’s the same on your example as well.

As you can see the menu background bar is missing, it’s like this on on all pages.

Also I’ve made no changes to files, unzipped them and loaded it up. No point looking at it on a server (Tried on server but no difference). Works fine in firefox and chrome.

I used adobe browser labs on it and IE 9 doesn’t work as well (https://browserlab.adobe.com)

Also looked at the site with broswershots.org and it shows some browsers with the same issue.

Hi,

Please open file /css/all.css and fin this line:

/*background: url(../images/svg-gradient.svg);*/

adn replace with this one:

background: url(../images/svg-gradient.svg);

effect:'random', // Specify sets like: fold,fade,sliceDown

and change it to:


effect:'fade', // Specify sets like: fold,fade,sliceDown

You can also use other effects like fold or sliceDown.

We are using color with gradient for menu bar. SVG is for IE 9 , that have problems with gradient in css.

Hi,

I tried adding a title to the images in the Nivo slider (http://nivo.dev7studios.com/support/jquery-plugin-usage/), but they’re mostly blocked by the portfolio preview. Is there any way to move the caption/title up so it is visible, while still keeping the blending below it?

It’s very strange!

I get transparency in IE, not in Firefox or Chrome – But when I look at your preview, it’s transparent in all 3 browsers… I don’t get it!

Anyway, I want to make it fully transparent, is there around way that?

Do you mean transparency for menu bar? If yes, then open css file /mustang/css/light-style.css or /mustang/css/dark-style.css and find this code:

    background: -webkit-gradient(linear, 0 0, 0 bottom, from(rgba(53, 56, 60, 1)), to(rgba(34, 37, 40, 1)));
    background: -moz-linear-gradient(rgba(53, 56, 60, 1), rgba(34, 37, 50, 1));
    background: -o-linear-gradient(top left,rgba(53, 56, 60, 1),rgba(34, 37, 50, 1));

and change value 1 in this code to 0.8 or 0.7 for example. You will see this value in 6 places in this code.

Love the template. Would there be any problem in me converting this template to php in order to use server side includes on a site to reuse various parts of site eg footer, header etc but retaining overall look and feel of the site? Hello! I’ve purchased your template several weeks ago and I’m still finding useful things all around I have one question, I’ve set the menu bar transparent changing the value 1 to 0.7 in the below code (the six times).

The problem is that the drop down menus don’t keep that transparency, they are almost opaque. I’m not sure where to fix that.

If you can work with Dreamweaver then you can edit the files with it. For me for example is easier to edit files with Notepad++. Good luck.
