Wow what a theme! Does it support Google Ads and video posts?
Thanks!
you can use plugin for Google Ads.
Video posts, do you mean custom post type?
Like having a youtube video showing up in a post (doesn’t have to be a custom video player).
you can either do that by using youtube url or the embed codes provided by youtube. WordPress will automatically convert the url into video.
Example: http://themetation.com/themes/mywordpress/2009/04/24/check-out-the-formatting/
Very nice… to bad YT won’t let you watch embeded videos in HD
Thanks for responding!
Not sure what you mean, but you can always switch to HD in the player. It just not play in HD by default, but user can choose the option.
I tried to install this theme into Wordpress but it does not work. Keeps saying it is a broken theme.
May I know what is the problem?
I’d just updated this theme to wp3.5 compatible. You can re-download and test it
Hello,
I have recently upgraded the theme to the newest version. My ads worked at one point in time and now they are not. They weren’t working prior to the upgrade. After reading the google adsense policy i found that iFrames are not allowed. I inspected the leaderboard code and found that there were multiple tags as we as iFrames where the leaderboard would be displayed.
The Google policy on iFrames can be seen here. http://support.google.com/adsense/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=48182Can you take a look at the leaderboard code on the homepage augmentedrealitynews[.]org ?
There is no iframe in-used in the theme or in the ad spot.
Google doesn’t allow iframe in ad placement, so, you shouldn’t do that.
Maybe I miss-understand your question?
Take a look at my website above. View the source where the leaderboard ad would be… You’ll notice that multiple html tags and i frames appear around where the code is. I didn’t modify the theme so i’m not sure where they came from.
May I know what you have insert into the theme option field for leaderboard ad?
Hello, I wanted to reach out and let you know that your theme did not have an issue. It was in fact my Adsense account with the issue.
