I’ve downloaded the updated theme and have tried a number of times to upload it to Wordpress to no avail…
I keep getting a failure notice saying “Are you sure you want to do this?” then below that “Please try again.” which is a link to the upload page again.
I would be so appreciative of your advice to help me fix this asap please?
You may have been tried to install the whole .zip archive as downloaded, which actually causes you the failure notice while installation.
With the downloaded package, you’ll get Child Theme, Documentation and etc. So please note that you just have to unzip the package first, then make sure to find and install the actual theme itself.

Thanks, I downloaded the whole folder but when uploading, I was just trying to upload the ‘myempire’ theme zipped folder… still not working for me, so weird, has anyone else had this issue? I recently had my website and this theme hacked as well…
1). Kindly extract the ‘myempire’ zip file first, and copy the actual theme folder inside it.
2). Then please go to “wp-content / themes” and paste that theme folder as you copied before.
3). So, you can view the ‘myEmpire” theme now at “Wp-admin (Dashboard) / Appearance / Themes”

I added a new widget area to a page I created and when I add new widgets to the area nothing shows.. Is there something I should be doing different?
well i figured this out.. needed to enable side bar.. is there a way to split the body into three areas for widgets as an option?
I am really trying to see if i can put widgets horizontally across the body..

The theme does not display as Responsive when the switch is thrown to do so.

I am having a problem with the responsive parts of the front page of brenthomer.com. When you start bringing in the edge of the front page to narrow the width of the site the 4th icon box under the revolution slider jumps to it’s own line. If you refresh the page after it moves to that spot and you scroll to the bottom of the page you will see that the portfolio thumbnails also no longer work. It is like something with that size of the width breaks the theme with those thumbnails and button boxes.
Any hints on how to fix it?
I got the buttons to work, was missing a function, but I can’t get the thumbnails on the carousal to work. If you shrink the width of the website to right before the 6 icons move to single file and refresh the page you will see the portfolio thumbnails get messed up.
One last problem – you can see it on the front page and this page: http://brenthomer.com/pricing-table/ the buttons are not inheriting the skin color from the theme, and the buttons are not taking the variation=”color here”. On the front page you can see where it says schedule your session—> learn more I added the variation orange command. It didn’t change the button color but it changed the hover state. If you see the 3 buttons at the bottom of the page you can see what the button normally does.

My shopping carts shipping function has stopped working. There is an article form WooCommerce on this explaining that the theme files could be out of date. Can yo look into this. This is affecting sales.
Have you updated our latest version of theme files which Support WordPress 3.9 and WooCommerce 2.1.8. Please try that and let us know.
I do have the current version of your theme installed but it looks like I am at version 2.1.11 of WooCommerce. Do you plan on making updates to the theme to support this. I may have to try and revert back on the plugin.
I rolled back to WooCommerce 2.1.8. It’s working now.
