Hi, Check the background images on ipad. They render very strange. I see kinda blurry crosses pattern on the homepage.

guuthemes

Is this the normal or Retina version?

Many thanks

Default-user

Hí,

My compliments for your Nash creation. I´m still working on it now. www.blomvision.com.

I think i did something wrong on line 45 with <!- div class=”header-background-image”> ->

The picture i replaced appears not responsive. Do you have a solution?

Thx

Mike Blom

guuthemes

Hi BLOMVISION,

Many thanks, glad you’re enjoying it!

Do you have a URL I could view? You can private message it to me if you want?

Many thanks

guuthemes

Yeah that is strange.

Could you try uploading the image again. Then when it asks what size, choose ‘Full Size’, then click ‘Use this Image’.

Let me know how you get on?

Many thanks

BLOMVISION

Thx, I tried, unfortunately it didn’t work well. Also tried to ftp the image. For Your Information; I work and upload using dreamweaver.

BLOMVISION

Hi, I found out that some handlers stood wrong of the header_background_Imgae. I changed the width of the frame to 100% . This works. Greetz, Mike

guuthemes

Yes you do indeed need to make the images 100% width for the responsive to work.

thanks again

Hi, Thanks for this theme its really nice. I am trying to add a folder structure under “Latest Work” so when you click on “Photography” there will be a subset of folders for different categories. Also, is there a way to have the viewer autoload jpg’s in a given folder? rather then specify each image.

Thanks again.

Hi,

Im not having any luck displaying blog posts – pages work fine, but is there a way to actually show a ‘blog post’?

guuthemes

Hi candengo,

The HTML version of Nash, does not have Blog Post elements in the code, you would need to add those yourselves. The WP version now has blog post functionality,

Thanks for your answer.

ok about my previous post, i just figured it out, it’s your Wordpress Theme that works with IE8 not the HTML one, and i just saw that you mentioned that it was not working under IE9.

Still my question stays intact, why would the wordpress theme work with IE8 and not this one ?? Different dev team ??

guuthemes

Version 1.1 has just been submitted which fixes the IE8 issues.

many thanks for your understanding.

Hi,

What is the css setting to remove the dropdown navigation box for screens under 960px?

Thanks!

guuthemes

Hi gattung,

You will need to play around with the media queries at the bottom of style.css -

@media only screen and (max-width: 960px) {

Many thanks

guuthemes

..you will need to swap around the display:none properties for your different elements, if you are wanting to keep the normal navigation.

thanks

Hi folks,

Just a quick heads-up.

We are removing the ‘Latest Tweet’ function from the theme in the next version, due to the fact that Twitter have now changed to the new 1.1 API, which makes us unable to provide it with the theme (Thanks Twitter)!!

Many thanks for your understanding.

Hi there, I’m interested in the HTML5 version, but I’ve noticed that the portfolio pieces don’t have a link to the projects like the WordPress version. Do you provide a page like that in the HTML5 version? Many thanks!

guuthemes

Hi zurdo,

The HTML version is quite different in functionality to the WP version, as you mentioned above. The HTML version is more for coders who can develop the separate pages themselves, as they do not come as standard.

The HTML version is strictly a ‘one-page’ theme, whereas the WP version expanded into something a little more.

Nice template! Kudos.

One problem though. When I see my latest work on the main site and hover my mouse over the featured images (which are video links to vimeo) it only show an arrow icon instead of a magnifying glass like your demo site does.

Basically I want the link to open in a hover window like your demo site. If I click any of my latest work links it opens in a new page which shows comments etc. I dont want it to do that. I want it to mimic your demo site.

Thanks.

guuthemes

Hi mrtechnician,

The HTML and WordPress versions of Nash do differ in functionality.

The HTML version is much more a strictly one-page theme, whereas the WP version expanded into something a little more, hence why you are seeing the differences.

Which version do you have?

Hey,

This is such a beautiful template! I have two questions.

1. How can i remove the slider in the “about us” section? 2. How can i use shortcodes inside the various pages like the “about us”. I tried applying them through the UI in the “theme options” but they don’t work

Thanks

guuthemes

Hi odditi,

Is this the WordPress version?

thanks

Default-user

Yes, the wordpress version

guuthemes

Hi odditi,

Have you purchased the theme?

many thanks

Default-user

Hey,

Yes, i have.

guuthemes

Hi odditi,

Which version of Nash do you have?

Many thanks

guuthemes

Hi odditi,

1 – You need to remove the following from index.php - <div class="flexslider home-slider"> <ul class="slides"> <?php global $data; $args = array('post_type' => 'slider', 'orderby' => 'menu_order', 'order' => 'ASC', 'posts_per_page' => $data['select_slider']); $loop = new WP_Query($args); while ($loop->have_posts()) : $loop->the_post(); ?> <li> <a href="<?php echo get_post_meta($post->ID, 'gt_slide_url', true) ?>"> <?php the_post_thumbnail('home-slider-thumb'); ?> </a> </li> <?php endwhile; ?> </ul><!-- end .slides --> </div><!-- end .flexslider home-slider -->

2 – If you create a page, you can add the shortcodes in the editor window.

Many thanks

Hi there,

This theme is fabulous! I’m using it at http://liakeyes.com but the slider in the ‘About’ section isn’t working. I’m hosting the images at Photobucket.com and using their direct link for the image. Am I doing something wrong?

guuthemes

Hi liakeyes,

As far as I know the images need to be uploaded to your install, not sure if you can have them linked remotely?!?

thanks

Default-user

I was being stupid – I needed to add them to the Slider section in the left margin. I was trying to add the url from Photobucket! LOL.

I have a different problem, which I don’t think is due to anything I’m doing, but may be a bug in the theme itself. If I choose to display 3 blog posts everything looks pretty, but if I choose six or nine posts they don’t display side by side in a row, but staggered. It’s the second row that seems to be the problem. I’m going to leave it up, ugly, for a day so you can see it, but I’ll have to take it down later as it looks unprofessional.

Default-user

It looks fine in Firefox. The problem exists when using Chrome. But noticed the icons don’t work in Firefox.

Default-user

The blog layout looks perfect in Firefox – but in Chrome and Safari the second line of posts (I have it set to display 9 posts on the homepage) doesn’t line up. Will there be an update soon to correct the compatibility issues across browsers?

guuthemes

Hi liakeyes,

Which version of Nash do you have?

Many thanks

Default-user

I have the Responsive HTML5 One-Page Wordpress theme, version 1.5

Hi, I am trying to use your theme but is giving this error. nash: Stylesheet is missing.

what should I do? thank you

pedrorecchia

Hi, I tried all forms, do not know what I’m doing wrong, but it keeps giving this error “The Following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.” Can you show me a printscreen of the folder that must be inserted into the FTP? I sent a folder with name “nash”, which is the index.html file and “assets” folder. Thanks for your patience.
