Couple of issues:

1) if I navigate to a post or category/type, the menu anchor tags become relative http://example.co.uk/project/the-performance/#about and the main menu is obviously inaccessible

2) I then created a blank child theme and the main menu disappears altogether when you navigate to a post or category/type

I have a basic multi site setup, with folders rather than subdomains and domain mapping installed.

Appreciate any help with troubleshooting this problem …

Many thanks in anticipation

OK think I got my inner menu back, for when I set the child theme I forgot to select the second menu item.

Now that leaves the funny #anchor behaviour … surely not a rewrite rule?

Thanks

OK being daft, again.

I realise that I have to hand craft these menus, I was just re-using the other menu and hence the anchors won’t work!

Thanks

Hi vervetmonkey,

Yes, they have slightly differing URLs based on homepage and inner pages. Glad you got things worked out ;)

Many thanks

Hey thanks!

I have a supplementary question. Is it possible to style the inner menu? I just want to change the colour to give a visual cue. I can’t see how to get at the overall inner container … (adding a container_id to the nav menu only gets part of it)

Just a thought, the social icons aren’t scaleable, like the other icons. And would it make sense to have consistent link behaviour between portfolio and news items? On a tablet it is hard to tell what is clickable … I’ll go away now.

Otherwise a whole load of fun working with this.

Thanks

Hi,

Take a look at the source code, the body tag etc.. you should be able to target the inner pages/menus that way via CSS.

Many thanks

I ended up moving in header.php

<nav id=”header-navigation” class=”sixteen columns” role=”navigation”> til after the if statement

and creating

<nav id=”header-navigation-inner” class=”sixteen columns” role=”navigation”>

which works, if inelegant

Thanks

Hi,

I have been using your theme for a while now, thanks for that! I have one issue at the moment with the layout. Please take a look a the way my blog posts are presented on the homepage (specifically the first blog). www.karlijnfiesler.nl

I am think about getting this theme for a website I need to build in portuguese. I need to know if I can easily change the colors of buttons and navigation for the colors used by the company I will be building the site for it. Pink, green and black.

Great theme, loved it. It should be available in other languages as well, it would be a hit.

Thanks in advance!

Manuela

Hi Manuela,

Yes you can very easily choose different colours via the Colorpicker in the admin to suit your branding.

It does come supplied with language files so you can convert to a language of your choice.

Many thanks
