Although i followed your documentation i dont manage to get the menu set up scrolling.

Hi, can I first say this is a great theme and I’m very happy with it. One question: I’m playing around with the ‘meet the team’ section to suit my client’s needs – I need to make the thumbnail images linkable to specific urls. I’ve tried specifying what I want in pure html but that messes up the php function. I’m not a php expert so if someone could point me in the right direction I’d be most grateful. I was wondering how i can upgrade the icons to the new version on the awesomefont site.

The way it is now, I can’t tell which of the icons I can use. And it’s not only the 3.2 icons that are missing. Many of the other icons, won’t display as well.

Could you guys point me to which files I need to change to get the 3.2 version to work?

Love your theme and would like to purchase. A (maybe dumb) question…whilst I love the single page approach, I may need to add other pages that don’t lengthen the main page, but open new page.

Is this possible from the nav bar? Something like a bio or statement that’s too long to put in the main site. I’d obviously like to keep the nav bar there to return to the main site.

how would I do this (generally) thanks in advance.

Yes you can very easily add extra pages (outside of the homepage). Details on how to do this are covered in the documentation supplied with the theme.

Pre-sale Q: In the “Home” section, where it says “YES WE DO SOME AWESOME THINGS”, in your demo site: is it an HTML-editable field in the Admin?

i.e., would my non-tech-savvy client be able to paste in a YouTube embed code there sometimes?

Hi,

I just downloaded Nash and am having trouble getting the Navigation Menu set up so that it shows the standard Latest Work, About Us, Services, etc. Nothing is on the menu right now. Also, I’m using each of these areas for different purposes. Once I get the menu working, can I change the text from Services to Entertainment without breaking the automatic scroll function?

Hello, I love this theme, but I am really struggling with the navigation. I have talked with your support center 3 times, and none of their suggestions have helped. They responded very quickly, by the way. :) Before I go to the trouble of switching themes, I thought I might ask for help here. If there is anything you can do for me, I would really appreciate it. I have followed all the directions you provided in the document, but they haven’t worked. I know my hosting company says they don’t support every theme. I can’t help but wonder if this is the real problem. I set up this theme for someone else, once before, and it worked beautifully. Thank you!

Before you buy you should check the functionality of this theme on your mobile devices.

Responsiveness works but when you try to click to the thumbnails in the portfolio they respond only to 2nd click and a lot of visitors would not do that.

While I am loving the icons you cannot change them to your own without customization of the theme. They are served form a third party server.

For me these issues would be a deal breakers and thought me a lesson to do a more better due diligence when purchasing themes on Envato.

Sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the theme as it is :( It’s definitely true that you always should check a product’s functionality before you buy it, not only for themes, but in general.

Modifying the theme’s code to implement the portfolio feature you need is not an easy task and therefor can barely be covered by the support. Our policy however clearly states that we cannot implement new features for users. Please understand that the time we spend on user’s threads costs money. You paid a certain amount of money for the theme and the developer decided to offer support for theme errors, bugfixes etc. because we love you buyers :)
But when it comes to really developing for you, it costs us more money than we ever earned with your purchase.

You can gladly come back to the forum at any time and we can guide you and see how far we can take you through the process.

Anyways, I’m glad you learned from this experience, I’m sure you will benefit from it in the future as well! Please always feel free to use the comment system of a themeforest item to ask prepurchase questions. Almost every author gladly takes care of those! Noone wants to fool anyone, so sorry for the misunderstandings!

Dear Mel, I really wish I would get similar answer on your forum. Unfortunately I lost any trust in you and your themes and I do not plan to return to your forum.

I think both issues are pretty serious when it comes to usability and if I was developing the theme I would definitely address them. My way of doing business is that the customers have to have 100% positive experience with the product and my goal is always to make them very efficient websites, because when they do well I do well.

I am sorry about your costs of developing a theme. I know it is hard, but as you can see on your numbers that you are doing very good. It is up to you what kind of support you offer. According to the Envato rules you do not have to do it at all. But please deliver what you advertise. “AAA Support, “second to none”.

When it comes to my problem with mobile devices I resolved it for $5 on Fiverr.

I apologise if you have not had the most satisfactory of experiences with Nash, and the support. The positive feedback, and great messages we have had from the vast majority of buyers show this is not the case as a whole.

Mel, was mistaken on the Font Awesome aspect. They are not held on a 3rd party server, but are actually bundled with the theme, they can be found in the /fonts folder that comes with Nash.

I have also been privy to the conversations that you had with Mel on the support forum, and from what I can ascertain, Mel has gone above and beyond assisting you on the forums, and at the end mentioning the fact (as stated on the forum) that we do not currently offer customisations.

Again I’m sorry that you feel you did not have the most positive experience, and wish you the best in your venture.

Thank you for your message and the update on the “Font Awesome”. This is actually a great news (couple of months later). I am happy for your other satisfied customers. Although in some cases the answers were marked private by you so it is hard to get the real picture. In any case I hope it is true and I hope I am your only unsatisfied customer. it’s Mel again, I want to chime in on some misunderstandings here.

First off: Marc, the developer (!) of the theme, of course is able to see the private replies. It’s his forum, he sees everything that has been posted and – don’t worry – gets the correct picture at any time. If you’re referring to your “real picture” when it comes to user satisfaction because of private replies, rest assured that private replies are used for secure delivery of private data, and unfortunately having them non-private wouldn’t change your state of satisfaction either I suppose, so it does not really matter :(

Secondly I’m afraid you misread what I said about Fontawesome. I never said they were hosted on a third party server, I said they were provided by a third party service, which is http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icons/
That means we did not design those icons, we don’t have image files you could easily replace. It’s a font, and like any google font (for example) you cannot switch certain letters for letters of your personal preference.

I just wanted to clear that up as I don’t wish to have rumors or misinformation spread :)

Happy to hear that you’re happy with all of the other products you purchased on Envato. I support/ed more than a dozen elite authors already on themeforest, so I’m sure we met before or will meet again :)

The advertised AAA support is not true. There were two occasions when I received answer almost a week later and only after bugging the authors on this wall. Since then they were flagged by the authors and removed by Envato.

I do not expect to get answers for all my answers but I do expect answers on a timely manner when “AAA Support” and “experience second to none” is advertised.

Compared to other themes I purchased the promptness of this support was extremely weak.

Nice work. I’ve bought your Nash template and I need to translate it to spanish language but I’m having some issues with your default.po file. I can’t find to translate some items like “Read more”, “Posted in”, “By”, “on”, “Comments”, and the date of publication appears in english in some places too.

Hello, I just purchased this theme yesterday and also set up a forum account, do you have to manually accept my Item Purchase Code in order for me to post in the forum?

So far everything is great A+ theme, very easy to set up.

I had one question regarding an item on the HTML version:

Under “MEET THE TEAM” and after the photos you have a small poll:

Hello. How can I delete or disable certain sections/pages of this theme? I specifically want to get rid of the Twitter logo on one of the background images. Removing that background image entirely would be ok too but can I just remove the Twitter logo?

Love the theme and really close to buying it but…

The menu on the demo page when viewed on a Galaxy S3 (the only phone I have to hand but a popular one no doubt), well it disappears during scrolling (it scrolls away with the page out of sight). Is there any way to keep this menu static either at the top or bottom of the screen like most other responsive themes?

This is the only thing stopping me from purchasing.
