A quick one, just to be sure
Can i place different image headers in any page i want?
Yes you can! Did you look at the demo variations for headers in pages? Take a quick look there.
Hope to see you around!
Sorry i didn’t see any image header in the pages inside the demo. In a page like http://demos.quadroideas.com/nayma/contact/ instead of the map i need to place an image for example. I guess it can be done easily
Instead of the map, like in Contact page, it can be done but in a different way, depending on which template you’ll use for that page and you’ll have to use some custom CSS too that we can provide to you.
Can you advise how I can add social share buttons to the blog posts and summaries? it looks like this is possible within the theme but I can’t find where to do it.
Thanks for purchasing Nayma!
There are many social share free plugins you can use, they all should work fine with the theme. They usually come with settings to configure where you want the buttons to appear (below or above the post, etc.).
You can browse them in the WordPress plugins repository.
This theme can support short code feature products ,recent products on woothemes or not?
And Can change Header color , header background or not ?
The theme supports every WooCommerce shortcode, and you can use them in many different places too.
As for headers, you can pick between 4 header styles for your site, with colors that will change according to your main color (the site’s header background is white, but you can change that in the Custom CSS Box), you can look at that at the demo.
Also, you have very flexible headers for each page, that let you choose color, background, background image and more.
Let us know if there is anything else we can help with.
Could I open images in portfolio or image carousel in light box instead of post page?
Actually Nayma doesn’t have that functionality for portfolios. What you can do is to create a WP Gallery instead of a portfolio and use it with a lightbox plugin (we are using a very nice one in our demo). But it also won’t open an image carousel, it’ll just open that specific image.
Take in mind Nayma comes with an optional Ajax Portfolio, that means the items load and open in place. Maybe this option will be good for what you are looking for.
Here is an example of Ajax Portfolio: http://demos.quadroideas.com/nayma/portfolio/portfolio-masonry-x4/
Hope to see you around . Cheers!
Humm.. I”ve tried to use WP Gallery before and I wasn’t a fan. It’s been the second theme I’ve seen that use galleries without lightbox – I don’t get it! Isn’t it the point of a portefolio, to show some images without having to read a story about it; like simple image viewing?
That’s too bad, I liked the theme! Thanks though for the info
Sorry to disappointing you at this point. Actually, that is why galleries are for, just to show images. Portfolios are conceived to show information about a project, including: text, images, videos, etc.
We’ll think about implementing that functionality if it becomes a common request, but I can’t ensure you it’ll going to happen. If so, we’ll notice you for sure.
For now, we set up a demo gallery page for you, so you can see how it looks with a WordPress native gallery. Check it out here: http://demos.quadroideas.com/nayma/gallery/
It’s very (VERY!) simple to set up and you can even use captions.
I really appeciate your response!
It is the kind of gallery I’m looking for, however, is there a way to sort the images (the same animation as your own portfolio)?
You are welcome!
Well, actually that’s not possible. That filtering functionality is only available for the Portfolio module and it’s not included in the WordPress native gallery. You can still create multiple gallery pages, divided by your categories, and create a mini menu above each gallery linking to the others as well. That could be some what of a closer setup for what you are looking for.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
Humm.. I might use the full width masonry portfolio and use the items as category..
Could be possible
Why not? That could work!
You could insert a gallery inside each portfolio item, expanded or as thumbnails, using the lightbox.
Can the Homepage Style (bootstrap) be used on individual pages or is it limited to the 1 Homepage?
That homepage is built using the Modules Constructor template included in the theme, so you can use it in every single page you want.
Thanks for asking!
hi, love the theme! I’d like to ask a question:
It’s not clear to me how to get back to the portfolio in the perfect grid portfolio’s. In the masonry version the whole portfolio appears again underneath the portfolio item. Is this also possible in perfect grid?
If not, how to get back to the portfolio?
I would also really apprecitate a filterable blog…
Glad to hear you love it .
Actually, you can choose to have an Ajax or non Ajax portfolio, independently if it’s masonry o perfect grid. So, yes, it’s possible.
The Ajax portfolio opens the item right in place, and left the other items just below it.
A filterable blog it’s not available right now in the theme, but if we’ll see that is a common request, we’ll think about implementing that in a future version. Nice idea!
Thanks! Yeah.. filterable blog would be GREAT!
One more thing… is it posssible to create a bit rounded edges for the images? Maybe with css?
hi sorry one more question..
in the perfect grid portfolio, is it possible to have rounded corners, space between the images and some more text description?
- It’s possible to create a bit rounded edges for the images, but I’m not sure what images are you talking about. If you mean the images of the masonry blog, it’s possible. We’ll give you some CSS to achieve that.
- Space between images in the portfolio it’s definitely possible, there is an option for that. To make the rounded corners it’s also possible, but depending on what option you’ll choose for the text (if it’s shown by default below the image or if it shows up on hover) there will be a different CSS to apply. To make it easier and nicer I’ll recommend you to use the “show by default” and not on hover.
- You can show only the titles, no more info than that.
Absolutely loving the theme. Quick question: how to can I disable the comments for specific pages?
Hi! Glad to hear that
You can read about that in our dedicated support forum: http://quadroideas.com/support/topic/reactions-on-a-page/
And you’re invited to open a topic there for any other question.
Is it possible to easily edit the header so that it doesn’t disappear when scrolling and re-appear smaller and fixed, but animates and resizes to the fixed position instead?
I don’t think that’s possible. If you want to get your hands deep into the code you could try it, just keep in mind that that’ll be out of the scope of the support service. Alright?
is there a way to make the layout full width? basically with no border on the sides. i am using stretched layout now but there is still a border on both sides.
The Streched Layout is indeed full width, but it has a maximum width of 1400px, to take care of the layout. So in larger devices, it’ll look like boxed.
For further question, please open a new topic in our dedicated support forum at: http://quadroideas.com/support/theme/nayma-wp-theme/
Hi. In your theme is the support of the Google fonts with Cyrillic?
Yes it is. You can use any of the available subsets in Google Fonts.
Thanks for the reply. Another question – can be displayed posts in the form of masonry together with the sidebar?
Not currently, sadly. We’ve been asked about it a couple of times, so we may think of adding it in a future but for now masonry blogs display without any sidebar.
Hi, this theme looks very customizable which is great. I have a few questions before I purchase:
1. Do you have captcha for all the contact forms and comments on a post?
2. Is it easy to style the site so that the sides and top and bottom had an image border of some kind that also had a dropshadow as part of it?
3. If I want a logo to cover the area where you have it now and also over part of the sliding images below, is that just a matter of css?
4. Can I use elements (ie. blog style posts) in Home v.4 with another Home page design, say Home v.3? And also different elements of the different Home styles on non Home pages, and not just have to stick with say Home v.2?
5. (last one :)) I know the icons for the blog types come in different colors, but can we set the color with a color picker or is it just set colors you selected? Can we make our own image of them and have it replace your current icons and colors?
Thanks a lot!!
Thanks for contacting us!
Now, to your answers:
1. The contact form we use on the demo, and that is already styles to work with Nayma is Contact form 7, which has an available captcha extension. And it’s free. Regarding comments in pages, you’ll need to use a plugin for that, but any of them should work fine.
2. I don’t quite understand what you want to do there. You have a boxed layout option to chose, which will give you margins on the sides. Are we close to what you are looking for?
3. Lots of things can be tried with CSS, be aware you should be able to code. Although we sometimes help with minor CSS tweaks, theme customizations are usually out of the scope of the provided support.
4. Yeah! All what you see on the home versions is created with a template named Builder Constructor, which can implement an endless amount of modules from all the available ones.
5. The icons for the posts get their color from the main color option, which you can chose through a color picker (that’s one option for the whole teme, but you could change it separately by the use of Custom CSS Box). Regarding your second question there, ince they are inserted into the code as a font icon they cannot be replaced by an image.
Hi, thanks for your reply!
As for question number 2, is it easy to add a drop shadow look to the sides/the top/and bottom of the site. All the versions I see in the demo have sides that do not extend to the full width of the browser window (which is what i prefer). So I would like to put a drop shadow along the sides (like many websites have), and possibly the top and bottom; while adding css padding to the top and bottom so the background color/image would show up more.
I have Visual Composer already. Would I have to deactivate it then upload the Nayma theme, or will it automatically detect the Visual Composer I already have in my plugins and so all will be ok?
You are welcome!
Alright, then. You could add a padding to top and bottom, when using the Boxed layout option, and add a drop shadow to the site’s borders. It is pretty easy to do.
Regarding the Visual Composer, you won’t have to deactivate it, it should work directly (you will have to enable the post types you want to use it with, of course). The theme may ask you to upgrade it to the theme’s version if you have an older release, but it should work anyway.
Thanks for your clear and helpful responses. I just purchased it. I look forward to experimenting with the look of it; thanks again.
Great! Thanks for purchasing!
We hope you enjoy the working with Nayma.
Nice looking theme.
When i go into Apperance>Theme Options>Layout and do any changes at all i get this message:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/virtual/innovit.is/klakinnovit.is/htdocs/wp-content/themes/nayma-v1.0.3/inc/extras.php on line 375

Can you guys help me fix it?
Alright, that’s a weird error but we’ll take a look, for sure. I could be related to one of the repeatable layout options. Please, post this as a new topic on our support forum at: http://quadroideas.com/support/theme/nayma-wp-theme/ and we’ll help you out there.
Hi, in the preview (Google Chrome, Mac), the submenu shows up underneath the slider. Will this be fixed?
We are not seeing anything like that in any of the pages with sliders on the demo, on Mac, and on Chrome. Which Chrome version are you on? On which Mac?
I will just see if it happends in my own theme and get back to you.
No problem, check that out, it shouldn’t be a thing. However, if you experience difficulties do not hesitate opening a new topic on our dedicated support forum at http://quadroideas.com/support/theme/nayma-wp-theme/.
Do you have a list of the different shortcodes that can be used, when making the modules? I don’t see any shortcodes in the documentation.
We have a complete showcase of all the shortcodes available within the Visual Composer plugin in here: http://demos.quadroideas.com/nayma/shortcodes/.
Should you have any question regarding the use of the plugin please open a topic on our support forum and we’ll gladly help you out.
Thanks, but don’t you have a list of the actual shortcodes? I want to include them directly in my canvas.
You have that same page in the Demo Content that you can import from Theme Options panel, and you can look at how it’s built by looking at it from the backend.
If you didn’t want to import the whole demo content, open a support request in the forum and we’ll be happy to pass you over the editor-”markup” for that page.
Thank you for making such a nice theme!
When I try to upload it in wordpress, I get this:
“The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.”
I have tried the following files:
Are you able to help?
The file you need to upload is the second one that you tried: nayma-v1.0.3.zip. Now, it looks like your server configuration does not allow for files the size of Nayma to be uploaded. If you can’t modify your server configuration you can upload it directly through an FTP connection. Do you have FTP access?
Thanks for getting back to me. I contacted my web hosting provider and they increased it.
Great to hear that! Enjoy working with Nayma!
Nice theme, some questions:
1. Are you planning to add filters to blogs (masonry)?
Thanks for asking! Actually that’s on the agenda for a next release. Can’t promise that it’s going to be for the very next one, but definitely it’s planned.
Can you tell me if i can make a homepage with 9 grid blog post plus a sidebar on the right?? Do you have any screen shots of this?
The available grid layouts for the blog do not include a sidebar on the right, they are full width. You can have a sidebar on the blog module when using any of the Classic layout or the Teasers layout. Both of them will do.
In a first place I would like to use your theme just as a blog with category, and subcategory.
In the home page menu, can I have access to 4 different blog, which will be my first 4 category ?
By example, I would like to replace “features”, “Portoflio” and “shop” by other blog different from each other.
Thanks in advance for your answer,
Thanks for your interest!
What you are asking is possible but, for now, only when using the classic layout (the same used in the archives you can take a look at it on the demo). If you want to use it, there’s no need to create that page. Just go to that tag (by clicking on it on your post) and copy the URL that you’ll see on your browser. You can use that URL in your menu without trouble.
As for creating pages with tags or categories (and the ability to select its layout) we are probably adding it to the next release (the following after that one, if not).
Hope it helps you.
Is theme compatible with Yoast SEO plugin?
Nayma is completely compatible with any major SEO plugin, you can use Yoast SEO plugin without problems.
Hope to see you around!
3 pre-sale questions:
1-Is it possible to have a look at how a category page would look like ?
(Is it possible to have it in masonry like the blog ?)
2-Are the blog layout styles options only for the blog or can they be used as a template for diferent pages ?
3-For featured post images, is it possible to have them not clickable on a lightbox, but rather just link to the post page (like you did for the post images on the side bar).
Sure! Inside the demo, click on any category name, that’ll take you to the category page in a moment. As for now, there is only one layout option for the archives, so masonry is not yet available. Soon it’ll probably be.
Blog layout styles are only for the blog, yes. But you can have as many blog modules as you want.
The featured images are, by default, linked to the post. Where you see a lightbox popping up in the demo, is because we are using a beautiful lightbox plugin from the WordPress repo, that perfectly fits Nayma. You don’t need to use it at all.
Thanks for your prompt reply !
In the demo I saw tags, didn’t find categories..
Regarding the blog modules, do you mean I can have diferent blogs within the site, each one accessible from the navigation ?
Im asking because I love the masonry layout, and would like to have several sections within the site, each about a particular topic, and each showing up with its own masonry layout.
Let me know, Im ready to go !
Yup, that’s exactly what I mean. Although, remember, for now the only way is the way I described above. You can have many, but selectable categories or tags are to come.
Ok, ready to buy,
just to make it clear,
I can have several sections, for example, design, tutorials and news, on the navigation, and each when clicked would open its own blog, so it would be like having 3 diferent blogs, each with masonry within the site, correct ?
I dont mind having tags showing up in a classic layout, but need to have my navigation sections having each its ‘private’ masonry blog.
Confirm me so I can join !
What you say is correct, but remember that masonry layouts on category blogs are not available yet. They will be added soon, in one of the next releases. For now, linking to the category will always give you the Teasers layout. Keep that in mind, alright?
just to know, when do you think the masonry category feature will be available, weeks, months ?
And for now, for the blogs modules, when writing a post how can I asign it to a specific blog module, is there an option for that in the editor, for asigning it to a particular blog module ?
Thank you, can’t wait to get it !
All blog modules share the same posts, for now, till the feature of selectable categories/tags gets added. There’s no post assignment.
I don’t have a precise ETA to give you but it shouldn’t be longer than two weeks.
Hope this helps!
Ok, Thanks for being clear about the feature.
You got me convinced, if it’s in not longr than 2 weeks I’ll go for it !
Great! We will be happy to welcome you in.
We just wanted to stop by to say we used the theme on our website http://www.realadvocacy.co.uk/ – and have found it to be of an incredible standard. Great to work with.
Wow, what a nice review! Thanks so much!
We love to hear that, and your site’s looking great too!
No thank you guys for building such a great theme. Kudos and keep doing what you are doing
We will… nice things are to come!
