compatible with woocommerce 2.1.2?
There’s a function that has been deprecated on the last WooCommerce update, and a fix for that one is coming out in the next release (in the next couple of days). Other than that, fully compatible, yes.
Also, that fix is ready and inside a tiny file. If you need that now, just open a topic in the support forum and we’ll send it over to you.
I am loving this theme. Much hard work and love in it.
I apologize if my question has already been asked and answered:
On the various homepages you created on the demo, I don’t see anyplace where you move from one column to two or more columns. Is this possible on the homepage template?
Basically, I want to have a full width image/video and text at the top, but farther down the page, I’d love to have a multi-column setup with most recent blog entry widget and sidebar with testimonials, popular blogs, etc. Possible with your Visual Composer?
Thanks for purchasing Nayma! And thanks for the kind words too!
Sure, you can go ahead with that and use the Visual Composer setting several columns and placing all that in a Canvas Module (which you can accommodate in your homepage in the position you want to). I think the trickiest part will be the Testimonials part, be cause you won’t be able to use a Nayma Module inside a Visual Composer section, it won’t go as far as that.
But if you can create your testimonials in another way, that could be a great workaround for that, I think.
Let us know if that helps.
Thanks for the quick reply.
So, I understand the first part about the canvas module. But the second part confuses me: where, if not in the visual composer, would I use a Nayma module? Am I restricted to the ‘sidebar’ layouts then? And thus, I can’t mix Canvas module and sidebar layout?
If this is the case, is there any option for a scrolling testimonial widget that is full width in the canvas module?
First, the modules are to be used with the Modules Constructor template. Not related to the Visual Composer, that template lets you put together modules in any page, in the order you want.
One of those modules, the Canvas, lets you add to it any kind of content you want, like a blank page into a post. That way, you can use it to put inside content with the Visual Composer plugin, just as you would do with any other regular post.
What you do have, is a Testimonials module, that you may use in any of your Modules Constructor pages, and that one (as all the modules) will take the full width of the layout.
Also, the Visual Composer plugin will let you add into its content any WordPress native widget, plus lots of other widgets proprietary of the plugin itself. That’s why I said that that’ll be the trickiest part. You’ll need to figure a way of using the plugin to add your testimonials to it. Not as a module, but as content for the VC.
Awesome, thank you =)
Final question: when I put a full width testimonial widget on the home page, is there an option to have it scroll through a series of testimonials?
You are welcome!
Actually, the full width testimonials module scrolls its testimonials automatically, so.. yeah!
Hey Quadro !
Thanks for this theme, amazing !
Question: Do i need to buy the new version of Virtual Composer ?
Thanks for purchasing Nayma! We´re glad you like it!
Not at all, new versions will be included in updates of the theme when considered relevant. You just go ahead and let us worry about that.
just two things, before i buy this theme.
1. Is it possible to put some vfullscreen video with a slider (logo), before the menue ?
The video has to be selfhosted.
Sadly that’s not possible within Nayma, no. I hope you find a theme that fits those needs.
Hello! I already using this theme for one client project (love it!), but I have another project I think I can use this for as well and I had 2 questions:
1. I want to have 2 different portfolio pages that are filtered by different categories. It’s a wedding florist, so I want one portfolio that the client can filter by venue (XYZ Museum, Paul’s Art Gallery), and a separate portfolio that a client can filter by style (Contemporary, Classic, Vintage) etc. Is there any way to do this?
2. Is it easy to change the icons for the blog / arrow sets? I would like to create something that is more specific to flowers and replace these icons.
thanks so much!
So glad to hear you are liking it that much!
1. Sure! You can already do that. Go take a look into the Portfolio module and you’ll see it gives you many different options as to what to load for each portfolio. Try it and tell us how it went.
2. That shouldn’t represent a hard (like, tough) modification. You’ll be able to do that if you have some coding chops, and you can ask for guidance on that at the forum too if you need it.
Thanks so much for your response. I hadn’t really played with the porfolio features for my current site and I see now that it doesnt work with a lightbox or similar thing. I suppose what I need is a filterable gallery with a lightbox. Is there any way to achieve something like this without buying a bunch of other plugins? Sort of like this: http://codecanyon.net/item/justified-image-grid-premium-wordpress-gallery/full_screen_preview/2594251
You are welcome!
The images for each portfolio item open via ajax, inside the same page. So, though it’s not a lightbox, it does permit your users to see those images in there.
I don’t really understand what to look in that particular plugin, sorry. Anyway, there could be several ways of achieving something useful for you. Please open a topic in our support forum and we’ll help you out there.
we wanted to purchase this template and saw that, on the iphone it is NOT responsive – on the iPad it is extremely slow
I’m surprised to read that. We’ve tested Nayma and, especially, the demo (that has lots of content, lots, and its ensured to weight much more than any possible real site) in many different iPhones and iPads, in all its models versions and resolutions, and it works perfectly.
it goes without saying that on iPhone is as responsive as in any other device. In fact, lots of thought have been dedicated to the re-design of the different functionalities of the theme to allow for theme to work and offer readability for its content at smaller screens.
Perhaps you are requesting by mistake the desktop site on the iPhone? And regarding the iPad, are you talking about a 1st generation one? The demo, as we said, is pretty heavy weighted as it has tons and tons of big images and a very old tablet can take its time to load that, being the little amount of ram they have. Some users have reported here about not being able to browse the Apple site for the MacBook Pro (I think) itself on their old iPads.
Anyway, we are really prompted to hear what you are experiencing. Tell us, too, in which devices you are testing it.
Rest assured the theme is as responsive and smooth in every device, as you would expect it to be.
Hope to see you around!
Well we are simply viewing it on the iphone from theme forest and it is a mini version of the original but not responsive
The demos at Themeforest present a bar at the top of the window, with links to Theme Purchase, that puts the whole site inside an Iframe. It happens with every theme ‘round here.
You may want to close that frame and browse the site as you would normally do.
how to do that? or send a link
Just click on the “Remove Frame” button and the frame will be removed.
got it thanks
Hello – Love the theme! Is there a way to have a small Instagram feed in the footer area?
Thanks for the nice words!
You can use any Instagram WordPress widget in your footer to display your Instagram feed. There are many of them available in the WordPress plugins repository, a quick search will give you nay results to try.
Hope to see you around!
Hey, just a pre-purchase question. Does your theme support gravity forms? also is it SEO optimised? what seo plugins does it work with?
The theme should support any WordPress plugin as long as it works normally with WordPress, and defining support as “working along with”. It has not been tested with Gravity Forms yet, though, and the contact form plugin that has been styled to be used with Nayma is Contact Form 7. That should not mean that you cannot use anyone you want.
Regarding SEO, any WordPress theme should be semantically correct in its markup. Nayma is built with HTML5 semantics in mind and thus should nicely represent your content to any search engine. Again, you can use any SEO plugin that better suits your needs.
Sure! There is an option in Theme Options panel to select the sidebar position on WooCommerce shop pages, and there you can also pick “no sidebar”.
Thanks! one more question please..
Is there anyway to have a header similar to this: http://neighborhood.swiftideas.net/
I need my logo at the top centre part of the website above the top menu and still need the top menu to be sticky. i.e. when scrolling down I’d be able to see the top menu.
Sorry I’m asking too many questions! I’m basically two minded between your theme, theme “Neighborhood” and theme “Flatsome”
I really like the style of your top menu and also the look of the website on mobile phones.. just out of curiosity what features included in the next release? any updates for the shopping section of the theme (like product details and catalogues) Thanks in advance, Kiana
Not for now, nope. No updates to the shopping section out of minor fixes to accommodate to WooCommerce last version.
You can ask as much questions as you want to..
Regarding your logo and menu, Header type 4 of Nayma has the logo above the menu, and you can still use a sticky menu with it. Check it out here: http://demos.quadroideas.com/nayma/features/
Just building a site with your excellent theme.
Two queries though:
First a want to put a module across the top of every but can’t find a way to alter the height of it. Want it about 40px. Is this possible?
Secondly, am building the team pages but the images just won’t show. Apologies if this has been answered before but can’t find a way to fix this. Grateful for any help.
Thanks for purchasing Nayma, glad to hear you like it!
Please, join our dedicated support forum so we can help you out better and open a topic for every different question: http://quadroideas.com/support/theme/nayma-wp-theme/
I even think your second question was already answered there.
Hope to see you there
I have just updated to 2.0, but Theme Details shows up v.1.0.3.
Is it your oversight?
Are you sure you updated correctly? You should be seeing 2.0 already. If you still see that wrong, please open a topic in our support forum and we’ll guide you onto that.
OK. I have deleted the nayma theme dir, reuploaded all files and now it shows 2.0.
You are welcome!
Hi, is it possible in the client carrousel to have the logos always in color?
Thanks for purchasing Nayma!
Please, join us in our dedicated support forum and post there your question. Our support team will be happy to help you out!
Hope to see you there!
Just a pre-purchase question.
Is it easy to change the max-width of the whole site? I can see it is 1400px default and I need to have 1140px. It is possible to set this in admin? Or do I have to set this in custom css, and is it easy?
Great theme by the way
Glad to hear you like Nayma for your project!
Yes, it is possible and pretty easy. You’ll need to change some numbers in the CSS.
Once you purchase the theme, open a topic in our dedicated support forum and our team will help you out with this.
I just installed theme and I´m having a issue to create a new page.
PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in E:\home\amazonactive\web\site_aa\wp-content\themes\nayma\inc\custom-fields-functions.php on line 331
That’s probably some misunderstanding between content created prior to create that page (did you import the demo content) and something you changed later (did you delete the sidebars in Theme Options panel?).
We’ll handle it in our support forum, but if you want to try something right now, try creating a new sidebar in Theme Options panel and see if that takes that error away.
Hi, thanks for answering.
I just created a new sidebar and it sove the problem.
Glad to hear that.
You are welcome!
very nice and clean theme. Just a short presales question: Does the the SEARCH function find “static content”, too? I’ve tried it with some words in the footer, but there were no matches.
Thanks and regards,
Thanks for your kind words!
The search function is the WordPress native one. It constantly changes and they are really trying to make it better with each release cycle, but as far as I can think of it only searches content in what WordPress calls “posts”, that is posts, pages, custom post types. Mostly because it’ll need later a way of showing that content in the search results and widgets have not.
Is it possible to have multiple portfolios with the template. Currently we have the Perfect Grid x4 being used. Is it possible to create another separate portfolio to be used on a different page?
Sure! That’s absolutely possible. Just create another Portfolio module and that should be it. Should you have any questions about that process we invite you to come over our forum (http://quadroideas.com/support/theme/nayma-wp-theme/) where we’ll guide you up on that.
Your theme looks great and we’re ready to purchase… Just have a quick question… We would like to add more of a parallaxing effect than what’s on the demo (just simply with background photos). Is this possible and if so, how easy is it?
Thanks so much!
Thanks for your nice words!
That would depend on what exactly are you trying to achieve there, and what’s your coding skills level. The theme’s CSS is fairly straight forward, and goes on without “tricky parts” on it. Out of that, do keep in mind that that level of customizations exceeds the scope of the support forum, and thus you’ll need certain amount of knowledge to create it.
I hope that helps!
I have installed all the contents of the theme and Im having a hard time to get rid of the buy now button and its content saying: “This is a dismissable top notice that comes with the theme”. How can i delete this?
You’ll find an option to show/hide the Notice under Theme Options >> Layout, and it’s called “Dismissible Top Notice”. As simple as that.
For any other support related question we invite you over our dedicated support forum at http://quadroideas.com/support/theme/nayma-wp-theme/
I am thinking of purchasing your theme however I need to make sure that it can fully support Arabic language as I need to make 2 versions of my site one in Arabic and another in English.
Waiting for your feedback.
The theme does come with a RTL stylesheet but it has not been tested in Arabic language so there’s a chance it has still things to adjust. If you are looking for a complete fast solution, I’d go with something else. If you have somehow the time to check it while you build it, let us know over the forum afterwards and we’ll make it happen for you.
So this is after sale support, not an extra customization that I have to pay extra fees for it, right?
You are correct, that is after sale support, no extra fees.
Hi, The 2.0 update has really improved the fuctionality of the theme in particular being able to display modules by category
I would like to remove all links on the site that take you to the default WP category pages which display the full posts of each category.
Where would I disable the category links both on the posts themselves and the modules?
Glad to hear you are liking it!
You can disable them with a little piece of CSS. Please post this question in our support forum at http://quadroideas.com/support/theme/nayma-wp-theme/ and we’ll gladly guide you into it.
Wowwwwww! What an amazingly Great theme!!! My goodness. And stable, sound, solid and well-documented. Only ONE problem so far. I’ve installed the WooCommerce, activated it and am setting my shop. Upon setup, a left-hand side-bar with blog data invited itself onto the page and won’t go away. What is a fella to do here??? See site: http://056.770.myftpupload.com/product-category/incontinence-supplies/
Thanks in advance!
Thanks for purchasing Nayma, and thanks a lot for such nice words! We are happy to read you are enjoying it so much!
That sidebar gives you the option to use a sidebar (and to chose which one) on the left/right side of your shop pages, or just to use a full width template on them. Navigate to Theme Options >> WooCommerce and set it up from there.
Use, by you or one client, in a single end product which end users are not charged for. The total price includes the item price and a buyer fee.
