Necoan

Necoan is a WordPress Portfolio theme. It shows both portfolio posts and normal blog posts.

Necoan has many features that are seen and unseen that make using your new theme easy to set-up and manage. Some of the features:

• Portfolio section (select a post to go in the portfolio or it will go to the blog – automatic!)
• Lastest portfolio posts jQuery slider there shows the 5 lastest portfolio posts right under the menu.
• Two Widget areas (One for the home page and the sidebar)
• More from the blog widget to show your lastest blog posts on the frontpage. Graps the first image in the post and use it as thumbnail! (See screenshots)
• Automatic Image Sizing using best fit and zoom scale – PHP (No plugin required)
• Theme options page there allow you to change things in the theme (see screenshots)
• Gravatars for comments
• Google Analytics (insert through theme options page)

• Adjust how many blog post you want on the home page in the theme options page
• Support for Wordpress 2.7’s threaded and paged comments.

There is some IE6 issues in the theme, but it comes with a png fix.

Note to Wordpress 2.8 users! There’s a error with the get_category in Wordpress 2.8 (is fixed in 2.8.1), if you are using 2.8 please go to yoursite.com/wp-admin/options.php, scroll down, find “ne_portfolio_cat” and write the name of your portfolio category
