I am considering purchasing your WP theme Nemesis and I was wondering about the Gallery capabilities. Once a Gallery Tab is added will I be able to make sub categories? I would like to make one for each type of work that my business provides.

Question…On the front Portfolio Page when you choose a PRINT item with the ‘landscape icon’ in the lower right hand corner a picture pops up but only one in all of your examples. Can you have more than one image per project/job? So viewers can cycle through a few images per project/job?
Also, is there an option to turn off those icons in the lower right hand corner?
The layout is sleek, modern, user friendly and ideal for someone/a business with a varied creative portfolio!

I just bought this but I really need to be able to have more text description space for each portfolio video, than currently provided by the orange hover over section of each box thumbnail when it comes to showing a vimeo video.
As the lightbox doesn’t allow for description text just the video, I have had to put some vimeo short code on top of text, however by default you also get the thumbnail image above as a full size image, which I don’t want.
I simply want it to link straight to the vimeo embed with description below and no further images above. Just like this other them:

I thought that selecting ‘no content type’ for the portfolio would do it , but it doesn’t work.

Sorry it couldn’t be done using theme admin. However you can edit theme CSS file to change that

Hi There – I checked in the screen.css file and also the single portfolio php file, but nothing I do seems to be able to change it so that on a single portfolio, when the AJAX portfolio is selected, it DOES NOT display the portfolio featured image. Regardless of what I try it keeps displaying it and I’m stumped – could you let me know what script I need to delete or change to stop this from happening – thanks.

Hey Peerapong, great theme! I have a question. On both my page AND your live demo page, when using the “Featured Projects” portfolio shortcode and making the portfolio content an image, it does not actually display the image when you click on it. When you click on the image a new window pops up with a scroll box and just the orange box. The lightbox image is supposed to be opening up, but does not. Is there anyway to fix this to make sure the actual lightbox image opens up? This is not a problem with any other shortcode, just this one. I really appreciate your help! Thanks!

I ended up doing something different to get around it. However, now I have an even bigger problem. YouTube videos will not work at all on the site, no matter what browser you try. They aren’t working on your demo site as well. The ones I had on the site in my portfolio were working, but now they don’t. And when I try to create a new portfolio and make the “portfolio Content Type” a You tube video, nothing shows up! Please help!!!!

Generally speaking, if it’s not in the demo then it’s not in the theme.

I’m really starting to get frustrated with this theme and regret this purchase. Can anyone offer me any advice as to why I can’t build a functional portfolio?
I’ve tryed using an AJAX portfolio content, static portfolio content and just a regular image post. I’ve tried using a gallery or just inserting images one at a time. I’m using Wordpress 3.5.1 and Nemesis theme version 1.3.1. I’ve consulted you’re tutorials on screenr.com/user/peerapong and when I follow along I’m not even prompted for the same options and drop down menus. I know it must be annoying trying to keep up with this thread and help everyone, but this is not my first time building a Wordpress site and something is wrong with this. I need help.

Are you serious? It doesn’t display the 4 images I chose in a browsable gallery. It throws up a bunch of broken links and randomly chosen half cropped links. It’s totally bazaar and nowhere near functional. The images I chose do not display.

When you create a portfolio item, select its content type as “Vimeo Video”.
Please follow the theme’s instructions in /manual/index.html it will help you get through all theme features.

To use portfolio sets.
Once you assign portfolio to set. Go to appearance >menus. Then select which set you want to add to your menu items.
If you can’t see it, click on screen option (top right) and check on sets

think i explained it badly, I have sets for each portfolio items, that’s fine, but lets say i have a ‘work’ page, set to ‘portfolio 4 columns’ template, how do i tell that page to just display the ‘work’ set that i have, as i dont want this page to display any other set.

I like the theme. I have two questions.
1.) Is there a way to have NO portfolio content type at all for portfolio pages? When I select “no content type selected” the featured image shows up. Most themes I’ve purchased have an option for “hide featured image”. I don’t want anything there. Just the content body below.
2.) The selling point for me on this theme is the responsive design but I’m finding that large images don’t scale. They’re squished. Is there a fix for this?

Dear Peerapong, I have purchased the Nemesis theme and am busy setting everything up on www.wonderlens.net Most things are self-explanatory or easy to solve, but one thing is really driving me crazy: I would like my portfolios to pop up in a separate box the way the do when I select Portfolio Content Type “Image”, but as a slideable series of images in the box. Obviously this is possible because they appear that way in the AJAX Portfolio, but I do not want an extra portfolio page to open, just the frame with the series of images directly from the portfolio main page. I noticed it wasn’t in the demo, but it seemed too logic for me that it might work all the same. Would you say it is a simple thing to customize for somebody who knows about WP?
