Hello again Shakeyimages:

Is the pie static or dynamic? I changed the words 80% to 20% but the pie looks the same. Is there a calculation code in the source file that needs to be integrated into Admin?

Please advice as how to have the pie change with the percentage entered.

Thanks.

ps. #1, #2, #4 and #6 was not for you, there were for my developer. He is fixing those and #7 above. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for your response. I absolutely love your product! I have one favor to ask you to pass to the person I hired to install your component.

My site is http://welcome.aakika.com. See how the words and numbers do not show for the countdown. What does the provider need to do?

Also can you please either send me a screen shot or list all Admin categories. To not give away your design, I’ll just list here what I see under Manage Content, only 3 entries:

1. COMING SOON ! 2 . % Complete text area here I can change the text, how do I change the pie shape to match the %? 3 . Bottom Icons shows 4 boxes, but where do I enter the links/url

So I will really appreciate if you can list for me, all that should show in Admin. That way I can demand the provider do the work he was hired for.

Thanks for your attention.

Sheba1 – again this is covered in the instructions.

You need to:

**MAKE SURE YOU CHANGE THE PERCENTAGE WITHIN THE <h3 /> TAG ON LINE 71

TOO ! The default reads:

<h3>80% COMPLETE!</h3>

And change the percentage in the class listed below to the same percentage amount you wrote in the other section – see here:

You can change the pie chart in 10% increments by simply the class of the div in line 68 in the code. The default is set to 80% and the code reads as such:

<div id="chart" class="eighty"

Simply change the class name to whatever percentage you need as follows: 10% – class=”ten”

It is all in the instructions.txt

Hi Shakey,

Hope you’re still helping out buyers of this template. It’s absolutely great!

However, it seems that 2 things dont work:

1. The countdown. I did exactly what you said but it’s not working, its just empty.

2. I replaced my email with the default one in the code but I’m not receiving any email.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks a lot.

Alright I fixed the countdown by copying the code from your page.

Just the email has to work now :)

Hi Guy,

Glad you like the template! All you should have to do to get the email form working is replace your email as it looks like you already have.

The only issue I’ve seen is with some folks’ hosting provider…if you can’t get the form to work you may want to contact them. For instance, I know some people have had issues getting this to work with GoDaddy’s free hosting.

Thanks! Rick

Hi Shakeyimages, I have a problem opening the logo.psd in my (very old) edition of Photoshop (v.6 – newer versions too expensive for me!). I get a ‘not enough RAM error’ message and it fails to open. I am Techy and know this is not a problem (laptop newer than Photoshop!)Had a Google and appears that might be because .psd file created in newer edition of Photoshop. The other .psd opens OK which is weird. Is there anyway you could send me a different .logo.psd file – not sure if this is possible??

Many thanks

Hi myriadp,

The oldest version of Photoshop I have is CS2 , which is v9. I’ve re-saved the logo.psd file out of that version but i’m not sure if it will help or not. Here’s a link to download the .psd:

http://www.kippertdesign.com/logo-v9.zip

If that doesn’t work it should be fairly easy to re-create the file by creating a 300px x 130px document and then copying the layer style for the logo from the other .psd that is working for you.

Good Luck! Rick

Hi!

Change lines 26-34 in “index.php” to:

<script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function () { var liftoffTime = new Date("January 01, 2010 00:56:00"); $('#counter').countdown({until: liftoffTime, layout: '{dn} {dl}, {hn} {hl}, {mn} {ml}, and {sn} {sl}'}); }); </script>

This seems to be the most reliable way to change the date.

Thanks!

Hi Rick, first of all I wanna say your design is really great and I’ll use it for sure for lots of my clients construction pages. Said that, I am a designer and not a really great coder. I used other “under construction” templates, but this seem not to work as others. I tried opening index.php with chrome but nothing happens, I then uploaded to a “test” folder on my site bt nothing changed again. I am sure I am a dumbass and I am missing something “basic” knowledge. Can you please help me installing it please? Thank you very much, Marco.

Hi Marco,

PHP files need to be on a server so you won’t be able to just open the file from your desktop in Chrome. You should be able to just upload everything to your server and it will work. If you’re having problems I would recommend contacting your hosting provider. I haven’t had any issues with this and I’ve used it with several different hosting providers.

You could also download MAMP or WAMP to get it to work on your computer.

Thanks! Rick

Hi,

I’m among the 0.0001% that use a 2048px wide resolution, so many websites having a background show vertical bars on the sides due to designers throwing in a 1920px wide picture.

However yours is 2000px so I suggest adding the extra 48px to please another screen resolution.

I might consider buying this if you fix the background!

Cheers and keep up the good work!
