Lol, I brought your other admin template, which is really, really nice.

However, I am not a fan of this item anyway, good luck with sales!

Thanks for a great, user-friendly template.

I would like to know how I would go about using/changing the included jQuery UI to create an autocomplete like this: http://jqueryui.com/demos/autocomplete/

Thanks in advance

the table search doesn’t work here. also, when i select a date, no date is put in the box. :(

i think the toolbar on top is a little anoying. is it possible to make it fixed on top? and not transparant?

thanks in advance!

Hi Bartolo,

The textbox for search is just for mockup, not really a working model … For the menu maybe I could add a fixed menu option in the next update.

Hi Vivant – love this theme.

What would it take to convert to fluid-width?

Also – any thought on where a company logo would go?

vivantdesigns

Hi xmw,

I think a fluid grid is possible. under css/grid.css, there are two container sets, container_8 and container_3. The first is the main container, while the latter is for the inner container, used for having 3 column layouts inside a section. You can generate these containers as fluid layout using http://www.spry-soft.com/grids/. A footer logo would be ok.

Please avoid use jquery tools :( it’s not jquery, I had to rewrite the entire thing to work with jquery 1.5 and some custom made plugins.

vivantdesigns

Hi fmeyer,

jQuery Tools is a plugin for jquery. If you are talking about the file, jquery.tools.min.js is a packed version of jQuery 1.4 with jquery tools. Since you do not need to edit these files, I have packed them into one file.

How can I increase the numbers of rows with HTML ?

vivantdesigns,

I appreciate that you can only provide limited support for your theme, but I am still trying to understand what jQuery UI changes I need to make to either integrate 1.8.9 or change 1.8.7 to get an autocomplete field working.

Any help would be great.

Best regards,

George

vivantdesigns

Hi georgebrownlee,

If you need jquery autocomplete integrated, please download a jquery ui build from http://jqueryui.com/download that includes the UI Core, Interactions, and the Autocomplete widget. Other widgets such as tabs if included will cause issues with the included jQuery Tools plugin (please check http://flowplayer.org/tools/demos/index.html if you haven’t yet)

Default-user

Thanks for your reply.

I had difficulty using the 1.8.9 build – it killed a lot of functionality of the design.

Instead I have included jquery.bgiframe.min and.js jquery.autocomplete.js and all is working fine.

Thanks again,

George

Thanks for the great theme.

Having a problem with z-index and selects. I have 2 dropdowns on a form. When the combo is expanded, the items are rendered “behind” the dropdown that’s beneath it.

Checking in firebug, I see that both combos are styled with .ui-select and both have a z-index of 1.

Any way to fix this other than placing the dropdowns further away from each other on the form?

Thanks in advance,

Erik

Solved my z-index problem.

In forms.css I removed lines 1243 and 1251. Now my dropdowns display correctly.

vivantdesigns,

I am running into a few problems with this template and I also have some question on its capabilities. First, I am trying to plot into the graph with some data containing about 10 or more arrays. I noticed that the graph plots data perfectly with the 5 arrays shown on the sample data. It appears that the minute I increase the array size, the number for the X axis crush into one another. Here is a sample of my data ‘[05,56810,69819,131526,3045[28,485]]’ I tried adjusting the jquery.plot.js and I couldnt find any setting which allow me to plot more data.

I would also like to know if the graph can plot multiple set of arrays, as an example, array for company A, B, C in the same graph

The last question, I need to have a search section which will display the data in the same manner as the table that appears when I click on any of the graphs. I tried inserting the

into the class=”popupballoon bottom”. I also tried making the graph section itself into a search area, but I have had no luck.

Any help on any of the above questions will be greatly appreciated.

Hi yuca800,

The graph library used in the template is flot. Maybe their site has more info that can better help you – http://code.google.com/p/flot/, http://people.iola.dk/olau/flot/examples/, http://people.iola.dk/olau/flot/API.txt. As for the popup details, you need to follow the markup of the widget samples on the dashboard. On the rel=”#overlay-details” part, change that to the id of the popup you want to use.

Hi there, was looking to purchase this theme, I really like how you can drill into the graphs to see the detail behind it, really nice touch, however the graphs do not appear to be working in ie? Is there a fix coming for this, this is the only thing that is stopping me from purchasing at the moment.

Other than that good work here.

Thanks Neil

I tried this and it didn’t make any difference – still getting same issue of dropdowns going behind each other.

Any help?

will look into this. Cheers!

just found out that you can fix this by just removing z-index on both .ui-select and .ui-select-button. I have also posted an updated package which should be available for download in a couple of hours.

1 more issue. It appears this theme can not handle multiple-select boxes. It tries to make them a single drop down option.

How should multiple-select option elements be handled in this theme?

Here is sample code: <select name="NAME" required="required" size="3" id="ID" multiple="multiple"> <option value="1">Option #1</option> <option value="2">Option #2</option> </select>
vivantdesigns

Hi xmw,

On line 55 of global.js, just change $(‘select’) to $(‘select:not([multiple])’) and that should fix it.

Cheers!

That works, except it now loses any styling so doesn’t look good. will mess around to see if I can fix unless you have any good suggestions.

Hi

bought your style but i have a couple of issues. when i use multiple and open one after the other they appear without content. if i open one and cancel and then open another and cancel everything is fine but when i don’t cancel and just click on another all the stay open.

Another is when i use a dropdownlist , it never has the right width. Always too small

could you have a look into that?
vivantdesigns

I’m not sure I can visualize what you’ve just described. Maybe a screenshot? For the dropdowns it should act the same as a regular dropdown, even for the width. If you specify a width it should resize to that width.
