Page Creator is still useless with WPML, even after the update. I remember seeing on your forum a post saying that the update will resolve the issue, but it didn’t. Any extra info on this very important issue?

Hi,

I know the latest release fixes the logo issue in Chrome, but i’m using the child theme and i can’t find in the diffs the related code. I analized the most relevant pages from changelog.txt and i find header.php is missing from the list, even if it has been modified. So i assume there could be another changed file i’m missing here.

Could it be possible to guide me here? I only want to apply the logo fix to the theme without updating everything (i’ve made several changes to the theme which couldn’t be possible using the child theme).

I’m putting this here so maybe other will find it useful.

Basically you just need to jump to compare the header part starting at line 117 -> /* Header */ And make sure you do the change inside the original CSS and also the Child CSS.

Well, the only place i didn’t look was style.css inside child theme :) That was the answer, i suspected it had to do with js or css since the logo appeared on page resize. Thanks a million. Best theme ever, worths every dollar.

Improving the Responsiveness.

I have just tried to load the demo site on my BlackBerry and there seems to be a mix of good and bad: GOOD: - Columns, text etc. resize well BAD: - Slider takes forever to load (or doesn’t load at all) - Pictures (e.g. under “From the Blog”) take forever to load and eventually show up as just red crosses (which messes up the alignment) - Top-level menu doesn’t display properly

I appreciate that this may be partially due to the internet service on my BlackBerry, but I would want the mobile version to load much more quickly and efficiently than it currently does. At present, the home page has too much stuff to load properly on an average mobile.

QUESTIONS 1. Is it possible to “turn off” the slider for the mobile version? 2. Is it possible to “turn off” the pictures so that the mobile version just shows text? 3. Is it possible to use a simple drop-down top-level menu rather than the current jQuery version?

within the page creator you have option to show and hide boxes on several resolution. But this option will only hide these elements and does not avoid the loading itself. So at the current stage there is no option, not for images or the slider.

Hi, Apparently navigation items are missing when the site is viewed on iPhone5, as well as the bottom section os the web page seems to be mis-aligned on the iPhone as well as the iPad Mini. Is there something I can do on my site so these issues are fixed? Thanks!

Hi!, I’m considering to buy this amazing theme. It seems to have everything I need for the website that I need to create. But there’s just one single thing that I’m not sure if it has. I need for my website a favorites section (like a shopping cart or basket but without e-commerce functionality). I’ve seen that this theme has a little heart icon in blog entries to mark them as “i like”. Is there a way for the web users to see all entries marked as “I like” (without being necessary to be a registered user)? Like a wish list. If it doesn’t have that option, Could you recommend me any “wish list” plugin wich will work right with this theme?

well we have not tested the theme with bbPress but our theme has opening and closing functions so you should be able to hook these functions inside bbPress. This is untested, so we can’t confirm it.

I’m afraid but we do not know or tested a “wish list” plugin. The little heart you can see is some kind of voting for blog entries. You can see the top voted articles inside the archive template.

at the current stage this is not possible, but it’s on our to do list together with some other nice features. Basically the category will use the setting you have made in the blog. Anyways there is no ETA, but it will be definitely added.

The ‘revolution slider’ has stopped working overnight without any modifications across all my websites. It should be visible as a full width slider . I have sent a private support message to UnitedThemes but still waiting for a reply. If anyone can suggest anything in the mean time please do!

no its an official support account from our dedicated support stuff. But she was already off to the weekend.

We already discovered the reason why the error appears. You are using an external CDN to JQuery which updated itself to Version 1.9 over night. JQuery 1.9 removed some necessary functions and now your sites are breaking. Its definitely not recommend to include the library at the current stage. Anyways if you need to external Jquery CDN please redownload the theme at themeforest and exchange the revslider folder on your server. Since the theme itself is not 1.9 ready yet you may experience other issue which are undiscovered yet. So if possible please deactivate the google jquery library.

Fixed.. Used notepad++ to search for all files containing ‘ajax.googleapis.com’ to find the guilty party. It was super-rss-reader plugin. So will edit the php to fix it calling the latest version. Grrrr. Thanks for your help! Website looks normal again :)

This is an absolutely fantastic theme; it provided everything I was looking for. The page creator is exactly what I found wanting in other paid themes, and after a day of getting oriented, I was off and away – getting the results I’d hoped for, and much more. I can’t recommend this theme highly enough; be patient, once you’ve got it figured, it is incredibly powerful and capable.

Just having one problem with a portfolio page, it displays the portfolio images and hover state correctly, but behind that there is this code written out several times :

Pre-sale question and comment…as much as I can appreciate that it is easier to answer questions in your forum, it would be useful to at least have some of the questions addressed/answered here for us folks who are seriously considering purchase.
