I bought this theme a few weeks ago and I love it. Just curious about the WooCommerce functionality. I noticed that the demo preview is under construction however is the theme now ready to run the WooCommerce plugin?
There’s a theme on here that I like (in terms of how it has integrated WooCommerce). It’s called Maya (http://themeforest.net/item/mayashop-a-flexible-responsive-ecommerce-theme/2189918?WT.ac=category_thumb&WT.seg_1=category_thumb&WT.z_author=Sara_p) but I like Nevada’s look and feel better. In terms of how the store elements are persented, I like how Maya is setup. Can I setup Nevada like this too?

Hello. First, great theme!
Second, I bought this theme, but the installation instructions are very vague. I unzipped the Nevada folder, but I have no idea which file to upload. Please help. Are there detailed installation instructions anywhere?
Also, I have no idea what an FTP client is. GoDaddy takes care of that stuff for me I believe. Can I install from WP?
Lastly, I cannot join your forum for support because I can’t find my purchase code. Where is this?

Ok lets start from scratch
No need to be worried, everyone has started once.
First of all please read this article:

2. Click the dark grey tab at the top right called My account
3. You will now see a page that has a list of items such as Domains, Web Hosting, Email, Website Tonight, Photo Album. Click on Web Hosting. A box will drop down showing your hosting now click the green Launch button.
4. Typically now you would click on the tab that has a blue arrow and is labeled FTP File Manager. However, using Godaddy with this theme in particular you must instead hover over the green tab that says Content and click on Java FTP client. The screen will now show two columns one on the left that lists everything on your computer and one on the right that lists your hosting and site contents.
5. Using the right column click on the folder of your current site. Now you will see folders labeled wp-admin, wp-content, and wp-includes. Click on the one that says wp-content.
6. Now you will see folders labeled plugins, themes, upgrade, and uploads. Click on the folder named “themes”.
7. Using the column on the left search for your nevada.zip file. Locate this file and click on the >> button.
8. This will begin transferring your theme zip file to your hosting.
10. Now go back to My Account click on Web Hosting click Launch. Now select the tab with the blue arrow icon labeled FTP File Manager.
11. Go to your site folder. You will see that passion.zip in themes but is not unzipped. Click the box just to the left of the passion.zip file and go above and click the folder button labeled Unarchive.
12. Now a new folder called “passion” will be in your themes.
13. Go to your site click Appearance then Themes. You will now be in the Manage Themes tab, just click on Activate under Passion-Reloaded and enjoy!

I really need someone to respond to my message, I posted this message last night and it got deleted. I am having trouble installing the xml file. I tried importing again today and this is the message I received below. Also, fyi, there is only one file in the xml folder: nevadawordpress.wordpress.noSliders.xml
I don’t know if it makes a difference, but I have a Mac computer.

hi i want to know about updates. when u release theme update , do i get a one click simple automatic update or is it that when wordpress themes are updated, we are provided with a new set of files to upload on my server? If the latter is the case then does that mean to reconfigure the website and add all details again?

yes the theme has an integrated updater, you can also re download the theme here at themeforest to get the new set of files. In both cases you do not need to reconfigure the theme since all data is stored inside the Database.

hi thanks for that … just couple more questions. . i was going over your demo and some youtube videos to get more idea.. i don’t seem to see that ‘shop’ option in the demos and videos that you have listed in your theme here, do i have to make a separate purchase to make this website an ecommerce one, with a proper shop admin panel?
secondly, i’m looking for some ideas of how much customizable this theme is, u got any sample sites made on this theme that you could share?
lastly, in your demos.. the woocommerce theme demo seems to have a slider with smaller height and in the regular one, it has a slider on the homepage with broader height.. so how would i be able to change the height of my slider.. that is to say if i’m trying to get the theme with a shop and also want to have a slider with broader height, as in the demo theme without shop.. how would i be able to do that? sorry to make it sound so confusing.
p.s. with shop options, i’m expecting a full ‘user login’ database for the users who’ll be buying from the website.. how to get all that?

Question…. I’m trying to choose between a couple of United themes. They all look very well made with a lot of features.
However, Nevada seems to run much slower than the other themes. I ran the demo version through GTmetrix and Pingdom tools, and Nevada is consistently loading at 6-8 seconds.
Any idea why that’s happening? Thanks!

our live demo is running on an older Version of this theme. If you have a look at the change log, you can see that with 1.6 we added a improved performance update. The demo site loads much faster at our location ( 3 seconds ) , so this might be a reason too.
