Awesome theme dwoolf.
Would a mailchimp email subscribe option be easy to add in the top right instead of the phone number and email??
Thanks
Hi,
The two contact options are just plain text, but I could definitely assist you in replacing them with what you described! Just send me an email at support@davidwoolf.net if you end up purchasing.
Thanks!
Will send you an email. Thanks!
This theme is beautiful and elegant. VERY easy to install and configure. Bravo.
Can you tell me if you created the images for your products or did you purchase them? If you purchased, I assume GraphicRiver? Can you direct me please?
Thank you.
Hi,
I created all of the images used on the demo. Thanks for purchasing and Im glad you like it!
We’re in the process of developing your theme for http://www.drawitpaint.com
But when we load up the site the Collapsed Menu appears even on regular sized monitor, if you refresh or go to another page, it jumps to the correct menu position but not when you first go to the site.
Any Suggestions on how to fix this?
Hi,
The collapsed menu shows up when there are too many links to display all on one line. The goal is to keep the menu responsive with the rest of the site.
The menu displaying differently from page to page is interesting and I’ll have to take a closer look. Can you email me at support@davidwoolf.net with your site’s login details?
Thanks!
I’m thinking of purchasing this theme as a way sell my photography’s. I sell my photos in different sizes framed. Is there a way to add a price difference for the size of the photograph? I want the client to be able to click the photo and it goes to the purchase photo page and with a drop down menu they can select the size of the photo and depending on the size the prices will be different. Is this possible?
Definitely! You can set the price for every individual variation, based on the product. So for example, if you had three sizes and the option of color or black and white for each, you could set 6 different prices.
Thanks for your interest!
Thanks for the quick feedback. I’m definitely about to purchase this theme. I want to display about a grid of 3 portrait photos in a module container about 33% floating left cascading to show about 20 photos. So a grid of 3 portrait photos. With some meta info under it. This will all be possible? I’m a web designer by the way I’m just not familiar with the wordpress framework and e-commerce. I appreciate the quick response. Thanks.
I’m not 100% sure on what you want to accomplish. Email me at support@davidwoolf.net and I can help you get this sorted, thanks!
Loving the theme, I’m currently implementing a webshop with it. I’ve run into an issue at the moment where I’m getting two “lightboxes” when I click on a product image. I’m running Woocommerce 2.0, haven’t installed anything else at the moment.
EDIT: nevermind, I’ve found the WooCommerce setting to turn off its lightbox implementation. Again, great theme, loving it!
Yes, there is a WooCommerce light ox included as well. I will make sure to get that disabled by default in an update, thanks!
I am also selling photography. But I have downloadable videos. Will this theme support downloadable media. And forgive my ignorance but I want to use pay pal—does this theme support paypal?
Hi,
You can provide downloads with product purchases (either as standalone products that are just digital goods, or as part of a regular product). PayPal is supported as well.
Thanks!
Thank-you for the speedy response. I was really happy to hear back from you ! Are there any special sever configurations with this theme? I had difficulties with a different e-commerce theme for this reason. It was not compliant with the server I was using. Thanks again.
As long as you can run the latest version of WordPress, you should be good. You might want to have more ram (about 64mb) as it is more intensive than a standard WordPress install, but that isn’t required.
Thanks—that’s good. Do you think this can be customized to work with my site (I will have someone do it) I am guessing this theme is stand alone and not a plugin. Do YOU have any plugins available that are high res and responsive? I am switching my theme but it is very similar http://www.virtualpoetrytheater.com/
Sorry, just to clear things up, the theme uses the WooCommerce plugin for store functionality. That is a free plugin that is separate from the theme. You can customize the theme however you want, however I can’t provide support for major customizations.
No—I wasn’t asking you to customize it for me. Ummm…so it works with woo themes only. Correct me if I am wrong. I didn’t really understand what you said but it sounds like I won’t be able to use it? Otherwise; oh well, I will keep looking. Thanks again for your help. I am glad I didn’t purchase the wrong thing.
No worries, just wanted to make sure you didn’t buy under false pretenses! The theme works by itself without the WooCommerce plugin, but for the store part, that plugin is needed. Just to be clear, it isn’t a woo theme, it just needs the WooCommerce store plugin for store functionality.
Oh—I see. Thank-you. That is good to know
Hey David,
The “Add to Cart” buttons on my site aren’t working for some reason? www.gnomeskateboards.com Any idea what may be wrong? Everything else is working perfectly though! Thanks a lot!
Bryce
Hi Bryce,
Sorry, I did receive your email! Try going to Permalinks under Appearance in the dashboard and click save settings. If that doesn’t work, just respond back here and I will have more advice on the issue tomorrow.
Err, oops strike that, read your comment wrong. I’ll have to look into the issue tomorrow as I am unavailable tonight. My previous advice won’t do anything (thought you were having a cart page issue).
No worries! I’ll keep looking into it in the meantime.
Hi Bryce,
I am seeing the buttons when checking from my phone. I’m seeing two of them actually (I think you are testing using shortcodes in the meantime). If you are still not seeing them, can you let me know which browser?
Yeah, for some reason the shortcode button is working, but the other button isn’t. I’ve been using Chrome and Firefox, and I can see the button, but when you click it the item isn’t added to the cart.
Weird. Does the demo work for you in those browsers? Sorry, I can’t get to a real computer at the moment. We will get this cleared up though!
Hi,
i am having an image lightbox issue. When I click on my product-image. 2 lightboxes appear.
please have a try here :- http://shop.marini.my/product/chantek-face-serum/
FYI no additional plugins were installed. - only plugins activated are:- woocommerce (latest) dwshortcodes
Tested on Chrome & FireFox
Hi,
The WooCommerce lightbox needs to be disabled in Settings under WooCommerce in the dashboard sidebar. The option should be under the General tab.
Sorry for the confusion, this is a bug that will be fixed in the next version.
