Newscast 4 in 1 - Wordpress Magazine and Blog

Firstly, i want to say that this theme is awesome!

I really want to buy newscast theme, but i want to ask first if i can rearrange this theme to be like this:

As you can see on my attachment, the size of all posts thumbnail on the left side are all the same.

I also want to add wider sidebar at right side, and smaller sidebar below the wider sidebar.

Is it possible to change & rework the layout to be like that?

Thanks for your help so far. We’ve realised that a very important mp3 plugin we use doesnt work with this theme in Firefox, but it works in Internet Explorer and Chrome. Is there something in our theme’s php or css we can change to make it work in Firefox?

Hi, I’m not to clued up on Wordpress. Finding my way. Just wanted to know, where are you suppose to link or upload the images to display on the accordian slide as main image?

I’ve used it on several sites and much prefer it to the one you’re using. It’s very well built, extremely fast and visually customizable.

A couple of questions on this theme. I saw by twitter I can set up the slides to only show a certain category that is awesome. With that being said – how are images handled.

I think I saw some folks talking about tim thumb? Is there a way to use the plugin of get image. Instead of adding a custom field to each post it just takes the first uploaded image and re-sizes it to what you need it to be at.

I am sure I could figure out how to implement it but I wanted to ask first.

Looking forward to taking it apart and putting it back together for our Church website.

I bought this theme on my other account thinking it was wordpress before you converted it…is there any way I can pay the difference and get this?

I recently purchased. I notice when I go to an article and try to tweet it that it doesn’t use the tinylink feature that so many use. When I try to tween an article most of the time the tween is longer than the alloted characters. Is this something you will be implementing or is it something I can easily do?

I’m having the same issue as frueco. Have posts in a category, with pics inserted, and that category is set in the main page options featured slider category. Did I miss something?

Kriesi, thanks so much ! Your theme is awesome and it’s very easy to customize with minimal html, css, php background. For the moment, I was able to fix the little issues I found. The reason why I gave up in making templates is because there are people like you who make it 1000x better with all-inclusive features We dream it, then you do it ! Really !

Does your theme support internationalization?

I hope to convert this to Farsi. Is it possible or do you have all the text inside the php files and not localized?

Great theme.

I had an issue when I tried to install on Windows computer for testing. It said the theme is broken and can not be activated.

I changed the path to CSS in functions.php file and then everything worked ok.

I really like the theme and its options and possibilities.

@mvaneuen: You can change that in Design->Editor-> There are three files you need to change a bit. The easiest way is to press “cmd & f” or if you are a windows user “ctrl &f”. Then type in “archive”. And search for that word in these three files to change it into your language: archive.php (several times) footer.php (once) sidebar.php (once)

Hello Chris, how I can change fronypage to get whole length articles? I want to limit my articles with <!-more->, not with your function. And I want my regular images to show on frontpage as well.

Oh, never mind, found it not I just replaced <?php the_excerpt() ?> with <?php the_content() ?>
