I bought your theme, and I had a few questions: How to remove the “Excerpts”? I need blog text to be displayed before the tag “More …”, but not after a certain number of characters. And I also need that in the pages without assigned miniatures, automatically preview of photos would not be created! I do not want to redo the entire blog! Help me, please!

i have to question: 1. how do i remove “a wp site” from header? 2. how can i add the subtitle pages in menu? (for example in demo data there is: PAGE LAYOUT as title and Contact, Faq etc as subtitle.

Hello, love this theme, quick question before i purchase. It is important that I am able to customize the bottom bar with widgets, icon links, etc. Is this possible with Next? I am also considering the need for an online form customers can fill out, fill in the field, click the circle. Doable here? Thanks so much

Thanks so much for your interest! To answer your questions:

1. The footer widget area is fully customizable with widgets—including a text widget that you can use to insert anything you want (including shortcodes, etc.).

2. Next is compatible with the Contact Form 7 plugin (it’s what we used to create the contact form on the preview site. It support creating a variety of different forms.

I get the following error when trying to activate this theme.

Fatal error: Call-time pass-by-reference has been removed in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\themes\next\prime\prime-cleanup.php on line 250

I’m using a localhost for now.

Hi,

I recently downloaded your next theme which looks excellent in the demo. I am having a few problems though.

The main initial problem is it doesn’t seem to create my page links. I have made 7 pages in the dashboard, but in the header bar when i view site it only shows home. I tried changing it to a different theme and those links showed in the header bar. Any ideas?

I tried to comment here before but it was flagged as inappropriate and not posted. I have purchased this theme. I would not recommend it if you are new to wordpress. In my opinion their documentation is poor and their support are very slow to respond to requests.

Hello,

I’m working on a site currently using the Next theme. It’s been great to work with. Well done.

For some reason a drop shadow type style is showing up on images I insert on the Portfolio Items pages. It’s not showing up on regular pages and I only see it when viewing the site on Firefox or IE, not Chrome.

Have any insight as to what might be causing it and how to get rid of it?

Hello,

I placed the following on the support forum but no response yet. Wondered if someone here could help.

I recently noticed the grey lines that divide rows of portfolio items on the portfolio page are drifting lower with each row and the last row has a line right through the images. Any clue what might cause this and how I could fix it?

Hi,

I am about to buy your Next theme. While testing the demo on my iPad, I noticed that scrolling through the portfolio and recent items on the home page using swipe gestures does not work all the time. For exemple, after rotating the iPad from portrait to landscape or vica versa, those items won’t scroll anymore. After reloading the page, it works fine. Is that issue solved yet?

Do you have a list of websites using the Next theme so I can have a look at what others did with it?

Watching at demo site on mobile devices gives a good impression that it’s one of the best responsive themes on mobile here on TF. But some of your examples look terrible !

1/ http://www.buyherepayheremesa.com/ ? the top is broken

2/ http://www.alec-rennes.org/ ? content is blinking each time there’s a slide change

3/ http://www.bogza.com/commercial.html ? Menu is not displaying entirely + footer is broken
