NextElement 10-in-1 Business WP Theme

Anybody know how to use the blog template?

Good theme.

Under multimedia player on front screen there are thumbs. Is max number of contents 7 or can be great than that? Is possible to change this in setting or maybe in css ul.tabs-thumbs? Can multimedia player be customized, different skin etc? Can i, information button (povered by videopress) be removed?

Do you have in mind to change player for different aspect ratio?

On certain pages, the top menu does not work properly any longer (ex http://nextelement.pandathemes.com/how-to/shortcodes/messages/ ) ?

I have the same questions as sunstardave and Sterlinbig..

How do you set up the blog section???? It’s not mentioned at all in the docs.

I don’t how “true” is my solution, but I can tell you “my way” .

Just make category with name “Blog” (or “My Blog” etc) and it will automatically appear in the site navigation. If you want to add post to the blog – just make post that related to yours blog category (“Blog” in my case). And voilà.

can’t install theme in Wordpress, here is the error message. It says that the stylesheet is missing…

I had similar problem after I compressed theme folder on Mac and than upload by WP this zip file to my server. And it seems to me that there is some incompatibility between WP and zip files made on Mac. Just try to upload theme by FTP without compressing. This worked for me.

The same thing happened to me when I uploaded the “wordpress” directory and didn’t realize that what I needed to upload was the “nextelement” directory. that did it for me.

Is it possible to use “pretty” links with this theme? I wanted to change the permalinks to / category / postname / but that doesn’t seem to work. Anyone chnaged the permalinks with success want to share how it’s done?

I’ve bought your great theme, and I’m in the process of configuring it.

Would it be possible to make available a WP export file of your dummy content, so I can upload to mine? This would be the very best way to learn how to use the theme to the fullest extent.

you can find the following xml file in the nextelement directory;

wordpress.2010-05-31.xml

This gives you all the content.

Does anyone know how we may be able to play videos inside lightbox by chance? So for example when using using a portfolio style, a video plays in lightbox instead of an image?

Excellent theme once again! Just one question for you…

Do you plan to update the documentation any time soon?

There seems to be a lot of information needed to setup the theme that is not included in the documentation.

I know many of the questions are located here in the Q&A. However, basic setup descriptions for features such as a blog page, slider, shortcodes would be VERY helpful in the documentation. I would also think it will cut down on the amount of support you have to provide for answering the same questions.

I do plan to load this and a couple of your other themes to several sites. LOve your work!!!

Hi. The Featured thumbs aren’t appearing properly on the home page. I’ve followed the instructions and all that I can see is a ‘spinning wheel’. It doesn’t matter if I add the thumb manually or (in the case of an image) leave the custom field blank to let the script generate the thumb for me.
