Hi, I just want to say PHENOMENAL theme, probably top 2 themes I’ve purchased in my life. I’m working on an awesome customization of this theme, I will be posting it here soon so people can see how truly flexible this theme is and what you can achieve!
Sidenote: with landing page option (maybe with custom bg for individual landing pages?), this theme would be a dream come true

I also need full-width but would consider buying if you know of an easy way to create a custom post template which is full-width.
My questions is about speed: What kind of performance testing have you done on this theme? There are a lot of features and I’m just wondering how much that slows things down.

To ensure that Nexus has good performance in a variety of settings, we’ve conducted a substantial amount of testing on various devices, and – where necessary – implemented performance enhancing features (such as the AJAX loading of responsive images as they’re needed).

Yes – Nexus comes with a full-width page template. The other requests were for a full-width (or unframed) skin where the page content wouldn’t be housed inside a section with a border (the way it is now). I hope that’s a little clearer.

I’m very impress in your theme, planning to buy it. But is it possible to create more than one portfolio page for a kind of portfolio type?
For example I have 3 categories of video portfolio, but I don’t need to put them in same page with filter. So I create 3 pages of portfolio instead.

Thanks so much for your interest! The scenario you described is absolutely supported. You can create as many portfolio pages as you like—with or without filters. Plus, you can make them with completely different items and mix and match the portfolio item types (have some be a lightbox video, some be a lightbox image, and others be a simple preview image what clicks through to an arbitrary page).

This way we can clean up the pages a little. Similar to tabs but a different layout.

Looking at this theme for 1 of our projects this week and just have a couple of points.
In all browsers there is an overlap in the social like icons in the bottom left of the footer widgets – the facebook like counter is on top of the twitter icon.
Als in ie9 the social links in the header are almost invisible showing in dark green rather than the white other browsers display – guessing this is an ie9 css issue but dont want to have to rectify it myself if possible.
Other than that – GR8 WORK !

Widget Logic plugin does not seem to work with your theme, it shows a blank textbox at the bottom of the widgets. How can I hide a widget on a particular page? Example is that I have testimonials in sidebar in all pages and want to display a different widget on the testimonials page.

Can’t seem to get this installed on a fresh install. I’ve gone through the steps a few times, but on the preview I get a blank page, and then when activated, I get a DB connection error. Any ideas?

I notice when the demo loads that the slider takes a while. Is this the case on the live site?
Also, I am unable to see the different colours?

Thanks so much for your interest! If you hover over the “Skins” menu in the main header menu and click one of the submenu items that appear, it’ll change the skins color in the preview site (note that this requires cookies to be enabled). Regarding the slider—we’ve added a lot of content and large images to the slider to show off its potential, but you can add/reduce the size and number of slides as needed.

I can’t seem to get colours to work. I mean that the theme loads before the slider, so slider loads last
When I try to upload the Nexus .zip file onto wordpress 3.4, it gives me a message saying that the upload failed and that the style.css file was missing. What is going on?

I have a slightly heretical question! Is there any way to either disable the responsive behavior or to limit it to tablet-size? My client is not so interested in mobiles and would prefer that the menu not get clipped the way it is when the page responds to the sub-tablet size view.
