Customization complexity really depends on what you’re trying to do – if you give me an idea of your intentions I could try to gauge it better…
can a sub nav be added to portfolio?
Yes, the portfolio menu item is just another page (or category) and can have sub pages (or categories). Is that what you meant?
Not really, I would like to have a side navigation for the portfolio page so all my work isn’t lumped into just one place.
A side navigation would be great, something like this…

@sondiink: You could certainly do that. It would require that you modify sidebar.php to check for the portfolio category/page (and sub pages), and display a navigation list instead of the normal content.
Is anyone having issues with the slider? I input images how the instructions requests and I do not see any images show up?

Resolved – just need to use more than one image for it to work
