Hey I cant get my blog to display the full post instead of just a snip-it. I have enabled show full post in the Reading settings and that didnt do anything. You can see my blog page here: http://www.mechination-game.com/blog/ Is there something I forgot to do or something that the theme is doing to override that setting? Thanks
Hi,
Please, open the “content.php” file and change the line “dt_the_content();” to “the_content();”
BTW, here is link to themes FAQ page: http://dream-theme.com/?page_id=653 you can find couple useful things there;)
Awesome, Thanks a lot guys your super helpful.
Hi,
What is the short code (or method) to create a Photo Gallery like what is seen in the demo (http://nimble.dream-demo.com/typography/)?
I checked the docs and read through these comments but haven’t found anything.
Thanks,
Joe
Hi,
That is standard wordpress gallery gallery short code. You can use it the same as you do in regular posts in “Twenty Ten / Eleven / Tweleve” themes
Ahhh was missing link=”file” in the gallery tag.
Hello – you are mentioning WooCommerce in your product description, at this moment would it be fair to presume that if I buy this and install the WooCommerce plugin, it will work/function properly (positioning, display, responsiveness)? Thank you for answering.
Hi,
Nimble is technically compatible with WooCommerce moreover It has some basic styling for it. So WooCommerce looks quite decent. Though you may want to perform some additional css customization to make it look/work best for you.
But please note that Nimble is Multipurpose Corporate Template. It will work fine with shopping plugins, but it is not “native” commerce solution.
Hello, Great theme, a couple of questions please: How do I remove the page navigation buttons at the bottom left of the catalog page. They are a double because there is already a clean page navigation on the right hans side. Also I need to rename the button ‘Details’ to another language, can you please advice? Many thanks, Giovanna
Hi,

Hi,
Somehow when I try to import the xml file it gives me the error that all the files failed to import. Does anyone know the problem?
Thanks!!
Hi,
I’m afraid it is normal for some hostings. And this issue is common for all WordPress (not only Nimble)! We made dummy .xml file as small as possible, but some servers cannot import even such small amount of data. You can try to google errors that your server returning and contact your hosting company support for assistance (though I cannot 100% guarantee that it will help
).
Hi, I have a little question before I buy about the regular license: it says it’s limited to a single application. If I want to design my site using the theme on my localhost at home, and then when it’s ready I upload everything on my web host provider, do I need to have 2 licenses ? Thanks a lot for the answer
Hi,
No. In this case you need only 1 license.
Hi,
I tried to make galery like this : http://nimble.dream-demo.com/typography/ I used shortcode

Hi. I need to translate a few buttons and links in the blog page and the blog sidebars. In wich files do i change that?
Thanx for a super theme!
Hi, Thank you so much for your feedback!
The most convenient way is to use this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/codestyling-localization/ – the best thing is that it not only allows change captions (or translate theme), but also stores all changes in single separate file. So your caption changes will be preserved when you decide to update theme.
Hello,
Excellent theme!! Love it so far. But when we are viewing our portfolio items from the frontend, we are not seeing the correct URL path that we’ve setup.
For example, when viewing a portfolio item, we would like it to follow our category structure by url. Our portfolio name is “Product Catalog”. So the portfolio url is: //product-catalog/
Now that displays just fine. When we click on a portfolio item within that portfolio, the url changes to //dt_portfolio/portfolio-item-name/
We would like to keep the //product-catalog/ behind the item name.
Can you help us figure this out?
Thanks again for a great theme!
Hi,
All you need to do is to change a slug for portfolio post type. Please google it. If that will not hell, please, submit a request via our online help-desk http://support.dream-theme.com – our staff will consult you about it. Thanks!
I’m wanting to buy this theme but have a question first. Can you add links to your photos and in the photo gallery? i.e. so instead of it just going into a lightbox it can lead the user onto a specific page?
Hi,
I’m afraid this function is not available. Sorry

Hey,
how can I turn off the sticky mode of the footer?
cheers, Chris
Hi,
Can you please be more specific what if “sticky mode”?
You do not want page to fill all window height when there’s not much content?
- found the problem its an window.resize event (JS).
ah, I suppose, you indeed did not want page to fill all window height when there’s not much content
have you fixed it yourself, or need our assistance?
I would be using this theme in Non responsive mode. In this case, would I be able to use third party sliders instead of yours?
Hi,
Theme will not accept any third party plugin to replace homepage sliders. But you can freely use them in any other pages in content area.
I’m not real wp savvy. Would I be able to replicate your homepage otherwise on a different content page?
Absolutely. You can setup any page to be a homepage via “WP-admin > Settings > Reading” interface.
sounds like I might have to give this theme a whirl:)
Hi guys… I’m unable to submit a support ticket because I have too many open apparently (I’m unable to mark them as closed on my end)
I wanted to ask how to make the text within the sliders change colour according to whether the site is viewed on a web vs mobile – like in your demo here: http://themeforest.net/item/nimble-multipurpose-retina-ready-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/3009347
On web: The background of the slider area is dark and the text is white, when the window is shrunk, the text changes to a dark colour so it is visible on the image-less background.
Trying to achieve this for the entire text area of my slider which has h1, h2 and normal text… Normally on the web I’ve made the text in the slider white so it shows up on a dark blue background in the slider area. When shrunk, the white mobile background means my white slider text is invisible.
I looked around for some toggle but I can’t find it.
Thanks! Your help is very much appreicated
Hi,
Please pride me IDs of tickets that can be closed. Thanks!
please… 1. how to increase sidebar width ? 2. how to decrease thumnail images on blog post type in mainpage? 3. how to apply webfonts in header.php / .css ?
Hello,
These requests requires considerable amount of customization which is, unfortunately, beyond the scope of theme support
Please consider hiring a freelancer to help with it.
Hi, I´m getting this message “Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in /usr/home/graduadosocialzar.com/web/wp-content/themes/dt-nimble/functions/core/core-filters.php on line 8 and defined in /usr/home/graduadosocialzar.com/web/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 990” in the front page. Any clue of what is wrong? I´ve recently updated the theme to the 1.1.1. Thanks.
Hi,
It appeared that final release of WP 3.5 is a bit different from RC that we used to test theme compatibility. We are going to submit an update within hour or two. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

is there a list of images sizes typically required for the various sliders, portfolio, gallery templates etc.
just purchased this theme and the documentation for the most part appears OUT OF THE BOX ready. Fabulous theme.. just looking for the image size for ease of formatting thanks much Joan
Hi,
Thanks for feedback. You do not need to prepare specific image sizes – theme will do all the work for you automatically (that’s why there no info about it in the manual).
