Missing style sheet error when installing the theme
A common issue that can occur with users new to installing WordPress themes is a “Broken theme and/or stylesheets missing” error message being displayed when trying to upload or activate the theme. This error message does not mean that the theme you have purchased is broken, it simply means it has been uploaded incorrectly. Luckily, there is a very easy fix.

How do I update the theme?
Sometimes you will get a notification on top of your WordPress dashboard about the theme update. If you are using a Themeforest theme, there are a few steps you have to do to update the theme. You can update it easily if you have the Envanto Toolikit plugin. When you install it – you will see it as a tab on the left right under the comment tab. You can easily go there and update automatically just as you would update any plugin. However, if you don’t want use toolkit for any reason, then you have to go to the themeforest website and redownload the updated there.
Once you have it on your local drive, unzip it, and get an ftp uploader. I use FileZilla which is fast, free and easy to use. From your ftp uploader, navigate to the wp-content, and then wp-themes directory. Next, drag the theme directory you have just downloaded into the wp-themes directory. Wait a few minutes until all of the files are uploaded. Now go to your blog/site and refresh. You may not notice a difference, but if the site is fine then you have just updated your theme successfully. You can go to your admin panel in WordPress to check for the version you updated to check if everything is in order.
Why my theme options didn’t save / I see the error message when save options?
So this is the reason of a problem. Everytime when you save options or reset, it generates and write a new CSS file with your settings. But in your case seems it don’t have enough rights to write that file. You need to set at least 666 rights to the:
- framework/css folder
- framework/css/generated-options.css file

Temporary fix to the menu size problem

Upload this file to the “framework/js/” in the parent “nine” theme folder, and overwrite the current file. Clear your cache and this problem will not appear anymore.
