First of all I must say this is a really nice template, something of the cleanest i have worked with.

But there is a couple of things bothering me.

1. How do i change the FAV Icon from wp-admin ? 2. How do i present more of my albums on home page ? there is a default of 4 and i have more than 4 albums. Would be nice to choose what albums to show on front page and not. 3. How can i add more fonts to the font list ? I got a own font i want to use thats not an Adobe Typekit font, so i guess i need to add this directly in the css, but i want it to be presented in the font-list in wp-admin.

1/ You can replace the favicon by your own in directly in the theme folder (see the doc) 2/ Open includes/theme-functions.php and replace the number of albums at row 315:

showposts=6

No. It will be tricky to explain how to add a font to be selectable in the back end.

Hello, Does this theme have any lighbox function on the all image thumbnails in all posts and pages? I will put a lot of photos at once (but I need it as a standard wordpress gallery from 150X150 thumbnails) and many little galleries in the news… I don’t want to push the back button again and again. Is it possible with this theme? I am seeking theme with different headers and lighbox effect on all images almost a century now Thank you

Hi,

You can set the lightbox effect to any image by adding the “fancybox” class to the link through wordpress. You can create galleries with 150px X 150px thumbnails in using the gallery feature from the theme.

Hi again, Thank you for the theme, it seams well done, but I got some hard time with it. Since it is my first Wordpress experience, I feel a bit lost with few concepts about the structure of the template. Plus, I have experienced few inconsistences/bugs that I am wondering about.

I am trying to build a repository with artistic pieces and I have chosen the Albums structure to present them (in opposition to the Portfolio structure that I like a bit less since I don’t see any ways to categorize the pieceworks per type (eg. Paintings, Drawings, etc.), while the albums seam to let do so.) Hence, I have used the Albums page and created Galleries posts to build albums.

Until then it worked fine, but to create a Gallery was much more complicated. I have decided to create a Gallery post in which I have created a Wordpress Gallery to insert in the post, but nothing appeared. I have then tried to insert every picture one by one as seperated media in the post and then it worked, but not for the first picture (weird). Also, it happens that I want to erase one, sometimes the picture sticks in the post (even if I hit Ctrl-R or Ctrl-F5.) It seams that it works only when I upload the file and insert it right away in the post, but not when the image is already available.

Anyway, except the fact that it is not working consistantly, I am wondering about the structure. If the way to create an album is really by inserting media one above each other all in one Gallery post, I wonder how it will be managable in the long run. By the time the page is getting too heavy to load (too many pictures) and I want to split them in many albums, I will have to manually remove every picture and reupload them in new albums (let’s say to make an album per collection or period of time.) I thought that I could at least take benefits from the Wordpress Gallery management interface by checking or unchecking items and moving them easily from one album to another, but I believe this is not how it works.

My question may not seam really clear, but overall I would like to understand what is the clean way to build albums in your template and how did you imagined the workflow to manage them.

Thanks for let me know your thoughts. I agree that the gallery system is not convenient at the moment. Your comment is right on time. As the new release of Wordpress allow a good media management system, I am currently working on an update for Noisy. It should be available soon. You will be able to use the WP gallery feature to manage your galleries. Additionally, I fixed several bugs, improved several scripts and added more features. You will be able to see the changelog in your theme updates panel as soon it is available.

Hello, I am very interested in this great theme but have a few questions I hope you can answer before I purchase.

1. Is it possible to link albums to internal pages that I post images on? My main concern is that I only have 1 or 2 images per album so it may look strange when it loads as it does on the album demo. So I envision having 6 or 7 albums linked to pages that have the images as wide as a blog post image as an example. Is this possible? Thanks in advance B.
